'I am running fiefox version 147.0.3 in MacOS version 26.2. Every second time I start the program firefox tries to take 15GB of memory. The process does not respond (as this is equivalent to more than the memory available plus the swap space). I have to kill the process and the second time the program has standar memory needs. How can I help developers?

I have removed many gb of apps to try and address this issue today but can't stop Firefox from using an insane amount of memory. What's up? I've been using Firefox for years and have never had this issue until today. I'd like to keep using your browser but I can't if my computer keeps shutting down.

Hello. Yesterday when I started my PC, the Firefox browser wouldn't restore my previous session. This has of course happened before, so I restarted, but that didn't help. So then I have to restore all the pages myself, boring. BUT, when firefox doesn't remember any of my usual pages, I'm starting to worry. Then I think I want to update Firefox, and that's when I discover my main problem.....I can't access the menu in the three symbols at the top right (shown in the picture/attachment). I can't open my profile, can't open extensions, can't download anything or open the downloads icon, and most importantly, CAN NOT open the "Open application menu" (the icon with three horizontal lines), so THEN I have a big problem. The menu bar and everything there is available, but without access to "Open application menu" I can't reinstall Firefox. I can't save bookmarks either, or see if the bookmarks are in a backup or something. So, I don't dare delete firefox, then reinstall it, without knowing if I'll find my bookmarks again. I've tried saving them to a file, but I've never heard of a JSON file, and I don't know how to process it. I should also add that I deleted all my AVAST anti virus programs and files two days ago. And I have found out that I do have the latest firefox update. Hope someone can help me or give me some tips. I'm not particularly computer savvy either, just so you know. opening firefox why is it blank page. When I open up FireFox the page is Blanck the account tab top right dosent work nothing works no search just blank page why is that. Yesterday it was fine worked

For some reason, the Menu Bar kept coming up, even after I disabled it. I tired a few about:config things, the one that seemed to work was to disable the ALT key. But I still can't click anything in a game with my mouse while firefox is open. I have two monitors. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox. I've looked around the internet and I can't seem to find my exact problem. Please, please help!

When i start fire fox it immediately opens 10 additional versions in the background which I can see in task manager and they take up a lot off memory. If i end task them they immediately come back. This only started recently. I noticed it because now when i open say a youtube video it shows it as number 4. This never happened before unless I had the same video open more than once.

If I can not stop this I will have to uninstall.

So out of nowhere, I can't use the back button, or delete pages by clicking the 'x. I can't even click on the settings icon, or any icon on the menu bar. When I hover over any web page title, it shows a small window of it, but I can't get rid of it. I didn't change anything, so what's going on?

Recently, Firefox has been becoming unresponsive quite often, and the Activity Monitor shows significantly high memory usage. For context, I typically have two Firefox windows running simultaneously, with approximately 5 tabs open in each window (10 tabs total). This is when I notice the performance degradation and high memory usage.

To help you investigate, I’ve attached:

• A screenshot of the extensions currently enabled in Firefox.

I am open to suggestions, such as disabling or removing certain extensions if they might be causing conflicts. However, I wanted to report this issue first to understand if this is a known problem or if there are optimizations planned for Firefox on Apple Silicon Macs.
