All of a sudden all of the videos I watch on YouTube with Firefox are defaulting to mute on my Macbook. I haven't made any changes to settings, etc. I don't have a YouTube account so I can't make any changes there anyway. I am having to unmute each video before I watch it.

So i reset my pc. And i saved a backup(BU1) of Firefox. But every time I try to restore my original backup(BU1), it keeps showing incorrect password. I know it's not but. I did find a workaround from the support page. I made a new backup(BU2). and took BU2s name and gave it to the original backup(BU1). I then replaced BU2 with BU1 in the new backup folder. But it is still asking me for a password. And from what I've read it should be using BU2s password. its not. what do I do? i can no longer access the original firefox because my windows account has been reset. What's even more annoying? I still have all of my passwords and all of my bank details. Without the back up. Because my phone and computer are synced. So I didn't even need to put a password on my PC backup. But I do need my tab groups. Any help would be much appreciated.

Firefox was recently updated automatically. Since then, I cannot access my Yahoo mail. I can access my emails using Bluemail. When I try to access my emails with Yahoo on Firefox, I receive the following error message.

Why isn't this happening when I open PDF files? Usually, there's an option that lets me choose between opening it directly in Firefox or using my PC's default app (Foxit Reader), but it keeps opening directly in Firefox instead.

As soon as I start browsing short videos in YouTube Firefox freezes and I have to restart it to continue doing anything. It is very annoying. I have Windows 11 (updated) and Firefox is up to date. I don't use a VPN. I have some extensions installed but it happens with or without them enabled. I use Panda Dome as antivirus (It did not happen when I had Windows 10 and Panda) It does not happen with any other video site

i used to have "trimless" for my g-mail, which i loved, b/c i can't stand having to go to a totally different screen to read a whole e-mail if it's long. but with either windows 11, the latest firefox update, or the latest google update, my computer tells me that "trimless" won't work anymore. HELP! is there something equivalent i can install? thanks!

On the sides and bottom of most content screens in FireFox there are Scroll bars to help navigate the content. In recent updates those bars have been made so narrow that it requires extreme dexterity to keep the mouse on them while scrolling and are impossible for someone with a tremor issue.

Is it possible to return them to a normal width? Maybe this should be an Accessibility Option.

since i got windows 11, the scroll bars are so narrow that i can barely see them! i've widened them before in the registry (gasp!) but evidently that's not possible anymore. i'm not sure if it's because of the latest firefox update, windows 11, or google. i've seen references to winaero as a program that might help me do this. will it work? is it safe? thanks!

After Firefox upgraded to the latest version, Google no longer opens up, bookmarked websites no longer have my username, password, or login account info, and do not recognize my account. Syncing caused all kinds of problems. I'm not happy with Firefox anymore and wish to remove it from my laptop . How do I do this? Sorry...I was once a happy camper. Barbara

Hello, I am unable to use henry.boerger@icloud.com to sign in to or create a Mozilla account.

When I try to sign in with this address, I receive the error: “Primary account email required for sign-in.”

The Mozilla account that may previously have been associated with this address currently uses henry.boerger.hh@gmail.com as its primary email address. In the account settings, no secondary email address is listed.

Nevertheless, henry.boerger@icloud.com still appears to be associated with a Mozilla account internally.

Could you please check the account association and remove/release henry.boerger@icloud.com so that it can be used as the primary email address for a Mozilla account?

Firefox is taking minutes to load tabs and once loaded it goes offline. It has been going offline for some time but it was only for short periods and I was blaming my router or internet connection but recently the offline periods have gone on for so long that Firefox is unusable and I have had to revert to another browser. There are no error messages other the "offline"

I’m still unable to access Newsmax articles in Firefox. I am getting this error:

“You don't have permission to access this resource on this server.”

The important detail is that Newsmax works normally in Microsoft Edge on the same computer and the same internet connection, so this does not appear to be an IP or general connectivity problem. The problem appears to be specific to Firefox.

I contacted support yesterday but did not receive a response. Could you please have your technical team look into the Akamai/Firefox access denial associated with the reference number above?

Since the latest Firefox update, it hangs immediately at startup. Now it never works, while other browsers always work. This is a fully updated Windows 10 computer. Even when it does work, Firefox's special tabs - About, Close Firefox, Restore session - are often big trouble; and it seems possible one of these may be the problem now. When Firefox is working. it either closes slowly or not at all, bringing always problematic "Firefox is already running - Close Firefox" messages. When one Firefox window is closed, Firefox always keeps the window that is causing trouble in the first place. So, two things. 1) Firefox doesn't work at all. If you fix this problem with an update, the update must start immediately because clicking on "Download Update" too will be hung. 2) You have terribly problematic special tabs which I have named above. It is my opinion that you cannot fix them - you have to rebuild them from scratch - otherwise they would be working properly right now. I have fallen back on Microsoft Edge which always works. Firefox is never working. Think about it.

Moin, seit einigen Tagen startet Firefox bei Klick auf das Symbol in der Taskleiste nicht. Wenn ich mehrmals klicke erscheint Firefox soviele Male wie geklickt. Mein System: Win11 25H2. Kann jemand helfen?
