Hi all!

I am using Firefox Multi-Account containers with Firefox 120.0.1 (64-bit) and the New Outlook desktop client with Windows 10(*). I have more than one Office 365/Outlook account, so I use different containers for each account.

Whenever I click on any link in New Outlook, it opens in one of my Firefox containers rather than in a default No Container tab.

Unfortunately, it opens in a container where I am logged into a different Office365 account than the one I use for the desktop client. This means any Office or organisation-specific links fail to work unless I copy and paste the link across.

Is there some way to force Outlook to open these tabs as No Container?

The provided solution isn't enough (in my case, the certificate was already there, although there were intermediate certificates without websites allowed - I added that trust, as well as imported more corporate root certificates but I'm not sure any of this was necessary).

Anyway, many web pages didn't work, as all http requests beyond the original one were redirected through zscaler proxy 2-factor auth. All js, css, images came back with a 307 and the corporate authentication page, immediately followed by a call to the redirection, coming back as 200 ... but with the same auth page. I saw that the original request (the base html) was always sent with "ssm_au_c" cookie but page resource requests were not.

I did solve the issue. I had to change the tracking protection options from "Standard" to "Custom" and uncheck "Cookies". Now everything works.

I don't really need an answer but, as others may have the issue and I can't post in the original thread (which is archived), I figured that I should post it somewhere. However, if there is a way to keep tracking protection in place and only add an exception for ZScaler, that'd be great. Adding "zscalerthree.net" in the exceptions didn't do the trick.

I used Malwarebyte scan to check for my digital footprint and it showed Firefox , spotify and another program , it also identified one password that was out there ! Does this mean that Firefox on my PC/Phone is insecure ? or are they trying to get me to use their software ?

We are attempting to disable DNS over HTTPS by pushing a configuration profile from JAMF Pro. The profile completes successfully and shows it is disabled, but Firefox will still show it is enabled. Has anyone else encountered this? We are using our own DNS Resolvers and need to not have Firefox force theirs. BTW, in order to avoid confusion, this is specific to MAC OS machines only. Thank you!

I am experiencing more and more pages suddenly not working on numerous websites. I am working with an Imac running OS 10.9.5. I am experiencing problems with Firefox, Chrome and Safari and am having to revert to my Microsoft Lap top for a working browser.

Any ideas on this???

I am trying to use OBS Virtual camera, I am resetting permissions of camera access, removing cache and data to be sure, and selecting it but it still doesn't let me use OBS Virtual Cam and selects Built in cam automatically does anyone has any solutions ?

when I enter for first time I can select and i select OBS Virtual Cam and I click on Allow and then next window pops up and it doesnt let me select anything else...

I am using Firefox on Mac - I usually minimize instead of closing - It has started making a TAPPING NOISE I thought it was my computer - but It now has happened to 3 different computers and one is brand new - T T T T TTT , I have narrowed it down to Firefox, when I minimize it will do it, then opened and it stopped and min. then start, repeeat - now it does the TTTTT all the time with it open or minimized. What is going on?

My Firefox recently updated to version 124.0.2. Afterwards my taskbar shortcut broke, so I pinned a new one manually (right-clicked Firefox in start menu > open file location.) When I opened Firefox it had reset the primary profile to be default, so I changed it back to my BetterFox profile. Since then I've run into several oddities, such as Firefox crashing when it's running in the background, getting an error saying "Firefox is already running, but is not responding. The old Firefox process must be closed to open a new window," when I try to open it, invisible shortcuts in my taskbar(see image) and my bookmark visibility resetting from always to only in new tab every time I start up Firefox. Please help me.

I'm using MacOS Sonoma 14.4.1 and recently, my browser has started freezing up for several minutes. It seems that the culprit is the "fontd" process because when I open Activity Manager that process spikes to %50 to %80 CPU usage. Killing the process does nothing and quitting out of Firefox does nothing either. I made sure Firefox is fully updated, but still nothing. I'm not sure whether it's a problem with my Macbook Pro's fonts or if it's a problem with Firefox, but I'd like my browser to be reliable.

Does anyone know what might be causing this issue or what I can do to resolve it?

Two issues here I cannot update FF to latest version get the "failed to update" in the about section. Near as I can tell I think the problem is related to Nord VPN threat scanner? It is the last extension I installed, soo..

Oh and Windows 11 Pro X64 bit latest and greatest updates.

Also when downloading a new version there are variations in the downloaded file content. Never the same download twice different SHa and what not.

Also why does Mozilla not include an entire version with the download instead of the current method of downloading an installer, and then finally install with the FF downloader file?

My customer has a problem since about a month on Firefox (using it on a Terminal Server). The top of Firefox gets hidden by white and grey "bar" and he can not even use the "functions" of buttons behind that. -> Please see attached Print screens Lower part of the Favorites-bar is visible and also works if he clicks on it - everything above not visible and does not work for clicking.

The problem only comes up from time to time maybe once or twice a week. When he minimizes Firefox the application behind is visible normally. when he maximizes it again, same problem still visible in Firefox. When he closes RDP Session and reconnects - the problem disappears. When he turns off the monitor where Firefox is visible - Firefox gets move over to the other monitor and the problem disappears.

I am not 100% sure if this is a Firefox problem or Remote Desktop Problem (or maybe an add-in problem). But until now it only happened on Firefox!

He is always on the last recent version of Firefox, we just updated today to the latest version again - but I can not say yet, if the problem would still exist on the latest version from today.

I have windows 11 and the firefox 124.0.2 browser. I cannot update to the latest version of Firefox. I receive an error message "failed to update". I've uninstalled and reinstalled the browser, ran the install utility selecting update, nothing seems to work. Please help

I have used Firefox as my browser for many years and lately my emails won't open or if they do it is very slow sometimes and won't allow me to delete emails. Not sure why this is happening and I asked by email provider and they told me to follow some instructions about fining the menu button of Firefox which I couldn't find then he gave me a link and I tried to follow but was unable to make any progress. I use spectrum email services

After installing Thunderbird i had first download problems for new Firefox Versions. I tested around, installed everything new and found the solution. Somehow the Maintenance Service didn`t work properly on my machine and after deinstalling and restarting i can update firefox again. Problem remains: When trying to install Offline Languages , see picture, i get the message that it does not work. I tried everything possible, including reinstalling and deleting all old profiles (was a lot of work). Any ideas?

I have Yahoo.com on my desktop which takes me to my email account. I would like to get it on my task bar but when I try and move it down it is adding it to Firefox on the task bar. I can't seem to get it down there to stay

I would like to change my password for Mozilla Firefox account. I am doing so because I have been notified of a password security breach. However, upon signing into my account via https://accounts.firefox.com/signin (it doesn't matter which device), I cannot change my password with the new one without the red-colored incorrect password window popping up. I know my signin is correct because I have just signed in using it. Whats the problem guys?

Every time I would try to log in it would always redirect me to a website that contain only the words "Expected redirect cookie to exist"

It's really annoying because it only happens on Firefox. For some context I just re-installed Windows 11 and I heard from another post that re-installing Windows 11 will help but I do not want to go through the whole process again.

I have already tried:

• Turning off DNS over HTTPS
• Turning Off Proxy
• Clearing Cache and Cookies
• Reinstalling Firefox
