I have set .pdf files to be opened in firefox, not download and browser is still opening those in new tab and also downloading those. What could cause this problem?

Your new update, like your last several suck. It is sssllllooowww to load most webbsites. Watching a video is frustrating, pausing every few secons. I am SICK OF EATCHING THAT WHEEL GO ROUND AND ROUND. What is most frustrating is your damned "Update" looser, piggy-backed of of a windows update. I DID NOT want an update, because you idiots cant create a update that doesnt screw up every aspect of peoples browsing or interne5 experience. To m,ake it worse, you cowards hide. There is no way to contact a HUMAN, your help is a bunch of questions that are never answered by [redacted]. Since nobody can write a workable update, Get a job at a fast food joint, and hire people who give a damn, an can actually write something that [redacted] WORKS!!!!!!! I'm on my second ay trying to un-[redacted] your mess. How about sending me an email with a contact to a human with a functional brain. People should NOT have to spendd ays fixing an update that is worse than a virus.

Hello, Today, when I first open Mozilla I noticed that I have problems with fullscreen mode. When I use fullscreen (f.g. on YouTube, but it's with all clips in other pages too) I can see white borders (on the left, right and at the bottom). I checked on other browser (Chroma) and I don't have this problem there. Can this problem be connected with new update? Or something just broke and I should re-install?

Hi, I disabled several options in about:config, and a feature previously disappeared. When I pressed the scroll button in the diamond, it opened a tag and automatically navigated to it. Also, when there was a previously open page, and I open any bookmark (tags), the selected page opens in a new window, I want it. Please help me.

I have AdBLockPlus (free version) installed and have not had any issues until today. Firefox did some updates and now the Add-In is no longer working. I have checked that it is specifically turned on for the websites I'm visiting and I've tried turning it off and back on to no avail.

These bugs have probably already been reported but just in case they haven't there's an issue where dates can't be viewed on Facebook posts without hovering the mouse cursor over the title of the post. The other bug is the cursor often, but not always disappears when commenting on posts.

I just installed Win 11 with a fresh Firefox install (113.0 / 64-bit). I use a single video screen.

When I double-click on the FF icon, no Firefox browser window appears. However, in task manager, I can see that Firefox has opened and using a lot of memory.

I also put the FF icon in my "Pin to Taskbar" area. After I start FF, normally I would see the pinned icon highlighted (program open), but the taskbar FF icon does not show FF as active.

What have I destroyed this time?

In youtube videos, creators will say "click the link above" and point and often there will be links on screen during a video for related content, aka annotations. They simply don't exist in firefox. I can't click or even see them. I opened YT in chrome and the annotations all pop up and are clickable. Annotations are turned on I've cleared cookies to no avail. Please advise.

Had the line

.tab-close-button:not([pinned="true"]) { display: -moz-box !important; }

in my userchrome.css which put the close button on all tabs. This no longer works.

Also there is no Close Button (X) on hover for inactive tabs.

We have set up exceptions for mail.google.com and accounts.google.com in Settings. Yet, Gmail is still asking for passwords to log in and saving them. I thought I had done all it would take to have Gmail remember them. Am I missing something?

Also, we cleared cache.

Hello. My laptop died and according to IT is "gone". My hard disk however can still be accessed. I was able to access my firefox profile data from the old hard disk, and I was able to find the two firefox password files (key4.db and logins.json), as described in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data. However, when I use the procedure described in https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1416465 to import the passwords on my new firefox on my new laptop, it does not work: firefox tries to look for a csv file, but there is none: I only have the "raw" db and json files, because i never had the opportunity to "export" my pwds as a csv file. Is there a way to import pwds from one version of firefox (the one running on my dead machine) to another copy of firefox (the one running on my new machine), if those pwds have not been previously "exported" as csv files by the "original" firefox/machine? thank you!

Lately when opening something in full screen it shows the background as sort of a frame around it. The dark blue at the top is the header background colour I use. It's really annoying. I can't tell if it happened in a recent update as those happen automatically. But it's just been the past few days. I use 113.0 (64) right now. I'm sending a screenshot of how it looks.

After updating from version 112 to 113 - performance has dropped dramatically.

In the beginning the performance after the update was faster than before. But as of tonight and today it's much worse than it was before the update.

I noticed that the browser started using more CPU than usual. Ryzen 7 5800X3D.

Cleaned cache already two times - didn't help. Tried Safe Mode - didn't help.

Firefox opens with a new tab containing 8 links per row. However, all subsequent new tabs have only 6 links per row. They used to always have 8 links per row. Why? A bug or a configuration change? I have made no changes.

hello i have around 30+ themes and i want to delete all of themes (because i want to keep the favorite ones ) but if i delete them one by one takes time , is there any option to delete them all at once i haven't found anything on internet

I have always read downloaded .pdf files in Acrobat. I inadvertently changed the setting to "Open in Firefox" (I got a prompt and clicked it without intending to). I have changed the preference back to "Use Adobe Acrobat" in Settings/General/Applications, but Firefox keeps opening pdfs in a browser window. How do I get Firefox to abide by my preference setting?

I noticed that on Facebook there is not shown data and time on every post. Some posts show this info, the other don't. I cleared cookies, deleted Facebook from history but it didn't help. On Chrome everything is showing normally. I put Firefox in solving problems mode, with add-ons off, it didn't help too. Any solutions?
