Everytime I look for something in google it keep asking my preferences. Is it possible to "store" preferences for google so that it does not ask everytime?

I wrote in about an hour ago, but clicking Submit resulted in a blank page - no acknowledgement or notice from you in email since. Pls forgive if you get this twice.

I was clearing Recent History when FF crashed and lost many important open tabs. This happened with V. 93.

I back up daily with Time Machine. I'm wondering if there's a file in Application Support or elsewhere it can restore to bring the tabs back?

Since the upgrade to version 93 many times Firefox freezes (blue circle moving on screen) and the complete screen is filled with the browser in such a way that the Windows tray is not visible. This is particularly being done when several pages are open in the browser simultaneously. Sometime after this freeze the browser closes itself without any notice. This is rather annoying when I am in the middle of a work.

Got the "new & improved" version 93, and it doesn't seem so improved. I can barely write this, as it keeps stopping and starting, and acts like we're underwater! It's using about 15GBs of RAM, and while I still have plenty on-hand, it's barely functioning! Come one, what's going on, will this browser ever just work?

Clicking on Firefox "Help" directed me to an odd "Crowdicity" website. This is rather worrying and makes me feel that I can't trust the browser's security anymore.

GOOD DAY FIREFOX /MOZILLA SUPPORT i would like your assistance with deletion of firefox account with the email address [email address] needed as i have no longer got access to it

In the Logins and Passwords settings, you used to be able to "show" at the logins and now there is only an option to copy. This"show" option helped if I was getting my password from the desktop for another device, or setting up a device. Please bring this option back.

I would like to be able to take a short look at the pw's without copying and pasting them into some random page to see what they are. That seems a lot less secure.

I'm on an Mac Big Sur and after updating today to Firefox 94, the usual behavior of being able to click once in either the search bar or the URL block to select all the text is no longer functioning.

This is not a small inconvenience, but a major issue for me.

Do others on MacOS have this problem? Do others on other OS have it? I am assuming (hoping) that it's merely a key in about:config that's been flipped, but don't know for sure.

I still have no bookmarks. I have restarted the computer a number of times. I also renamed the places.sqlite adding a 1 after places as it said in other directions. I have also refreshed.

Yesterday, I uninstalled Firefox and reinstalled after receipt of your response. It said all cookies, history, bookmarks etc transferred successfully. However, I keep getting the message “ and Bookmarks and history systems will not be functional because one of Firefox’s file is in use by another application. Some security software can cause the problem. I use McAfee, I’ve always used it. I have not changed it.

I did not do anything with favicon file as I don’t know what to do, I understand you can delete that. If there is a list of more than one, then what do I do.

As I indicated, I an NOT a technical person.

Maybe someone had the same problem, I use two security option outside of Firefox: 1. /etc/hosts file, all the site that I do not want to allow my machine to interact with; source: https://github.com/StevenBlack/ 2. VPNs anti tracking scripts

I use a mac, Mac OS 11.6 Firefox 93.0

With all the two security option enabled, Safari works fine, TOR works fine, Firefox has massive issues with loading pages speed. Some of the Firefox settings: Network Settings: the DNS over HTTPS is OFF, as I am using a VPN Privacy and Security: set to standard, but there is no difference is loading speed when switching to strict Extensions: I use 1password, multi account containers and user agent switcher; no difference is loading speed if I disable or remove all extensions

Any idea why is Firefox loading page speed effected?

Back to Firefox after a few years away, I like the feature Firefox suggest, however, it opens up and switches to the site selected when selected, (middle button), is there a way to open these in the background. Any help would be much appreciated.

Firefox 93.0 OSS 11.5.2

When i open a window the past 80 tabs openl to use, I need to R clic the tab on the left and "erase all tabs to right"

firefox logs me into a particular site even though save passwords is turned off and none are listed as saved. this happens even after closing firefox and opening a new window. i logged in last week to this site, and opened it today and its still logged in.

why speed dail fvd addon was disabled ?? I lost all pages saved, there was no readable message with you turning off the addon. it works fine on chrome, now I have to add the support file all over again, it also does not work. I use firefox from the very beginning but after such action, sorry but I will change the browser or you will help

Is there a way to undo and Synchronization that Hinders my Bookmarks Majorly? I was on my Laptop and i had an old recovery backup go thru and when i sync to fix it, it changed my most recent settings and i lost all my Bookmarks.
