Hi, The spacebar does not produce a space between words, when typing text. I'm using an iMac on macOS Monterey (V 12.6), and a Mac Magic Keyboard. Tapping the spacebar also causes the entire window I'm writing in to expand and contract in size. This happens when typing emails also. What do you recommend?

With JavaScript move from untypted language to typed language and adding class syntax to come closer to Java/C# and also Java move toward functional programming and emerge of modern languages such as Kotlin, would browser (and HTML5) still pick JavaScript as a language to support dynamic content?

To me, feels like JavaScript+HTML5 are trying to solve what Java Applets tried to solve in early days of Java but pure Java was not a good solution. However, Kotlin + HTML5 probably would be better option today if we were not stick to tons of applications and users that still rely on JavaScript in their browsers. Or are there any specific features in JavaScript that still makes it best solution?

I am using Firefox 81.0.1 (64 bits) for Windows 10. After I open Firefox I get two instance of the primary password rather than one. This does not happen immediately. I have roughly 20 tabs pinned, so quite a number of websites are opened during startup. My guess is that this takes such an amount of time, Firefox is simply triggered to open another window. Still I think this behaviour is odd and it has happened to me before in a version where we still had the master password. This sounds disengaged, but I never bothered to report this behaviour until now.

I am not certain whether this is a feature or a bug.

I could remove a lot of pinned tabs, but I rather would not. These are websites/services I all use once or twice a day during work, sometimes even more depending on the activity I am engaged in.

I am running Debian 10 Linux and recently upgraded Firefox ESR to version 78.3.0 . I noticed that whenever I launch Firefox that the mouse pointer "spins" for up to 40 seconds after launch. This does not seem to affect usability but is visually unpleasant. I have done the following things: 1. Start in Safe Mode: The spinning mouse pointer is no longer spinning after launch. 2. Disabled all plugins and extension and launch Firefox: The pointer keeps spinning. 3. Downloaded Firefox 80 and launched: Pointer keeps spinning. 4. Changed home page to a blank screen: Pointer keeps spinning. 5. Uninstalled Firefox ESR and re-installed: Pointer keeps spinning. 6. Checked for viruses, trojans, and other malware: none found.

Interestingly, if I launch Firefox ESR from a terminal (eg "firefox-esr &") the spinning mouse pointer is not present. HMMMM! This is the command that is used in the desktop icon: /usr/lib/firefox-esr/firefox-esr %u . Is there a problem with that command. I may modify that command and see what happens. Feedback would be appreciated.
