Ever since I downloaded and started using Firefox I have had issues with the display of the fonts - I tried several options that fix the issue for a very short time.. and then next thing I know I get reverted back to the unreadable display.

Please see the attached image and help me find a permanent fix for the fox..  !

P.S. when I started in troubleshooting mode the fonts are great.. and it works fine.

I'm getting this error when I try to bring up Firefox. What do I do now?

I used Firefox and recently there is no audio on any of the websites I visit. I am using an ASUS laptop with Windows 11. Other browsers (Edge and Chrome) do have audio. I tried disabling all of the add-ons but it did not help. Has anyone else experienced this or have a possible solution?

Greetings, a couple of weeks ago I started getting a black page with the message that is the title of this question, "We can’t connect to the server at www.googleadservices.com." when I click results from a web search and even clicking on links from within pages I already have open. This has happened in the past but only once in a while and isolated incidents. However right now my browsers are almost useless because of it. It started with Firefox as it is usually my default browser so I switched to Chrome and then Edge and now they are all doing it. I have posted a query in Windows forums and Microsoft help because it is with all my browsers but I am also posting in the individual browsers' help sections as well to get as much info on this as possible because it's really frustrating me and I want it fixed. I'm only able to visit 1 out of maybe every 25 pages I try to click on from any of my browsers!

Hello, I did everything mentioned in support articles, but the tabs on firefox are still crashing frequently, sometimes the first I open, sometimes it's the third... But it is making my work really difficult. Hi, my pc (I think the ssd/os) just quit on me, is there a way for me to build a new system (reformat) onto a new drive and either using the old drive (if accessable) or "the cloud" recover all my old tabs from that pc onto the new one? I had a list of tabs saved, but it hasn't been updated in a couple months (yes, I have a lot and can't remember them all).

I'm hopeing it's as simple as putting the old drive as a secondary drive and copying the "appdata" folder or something to the new pc.

System: windows 7 (yeah, I don't want to give it up) on evga mobo with i7-x990 cpu and maxed out ram. Samsung ssd (2.5"). Most all "personal data" is stored and accessed from my nas, just don't know how to do that for the tab hostory.

Firefox locking up today 07/31/2024 - won't compose send email in Yahoo/AT&T; only loads half a page of AOL News. Yes, I've done a restart. Chrome seems not to have this issue.

This [previous question] previous question is archived, but it exactly describes and explains the problem: when only pinned tabs are open when Firefox closes, then on startup - when restoring the previous session is enabled - the previous session is restored and a new tab is created. This is annoying, so I "fixed" it:

That's a gist of an html file that will automatically close the tab it's in. It does involve using about:config, so use appropriate caution. Just set that to be your "homepage" in the Firefox settings and the new tab will likely disappear before you even notice it. You can tweak the delay if it's not fast enough or you want to savor the impending doom of the offending tab.  :)

Hello, After update to firefox 127 for linux I get popup messages every time I visit a site. A typical message is e.g. for google.com:

www.google.com 1

Any hints? Thanks in advance.

the bookmarks menu won't list alphabetically. I have gone to manage bookmarks and chose sort A to Z. It will sort right then, but when I exit that menu it goes right back to not alphabetical

Apologies if I haven't described this very well. After loading a page on Firefox, loading the next one and any further ones could just be typed over the previous one as many times as you needed. Not any more, if I try typing in a new address nothing happens and I have to cancel and load Firefox again. Never used to be like this, can anyone help please?

Up to 126.0b9, files with encoded URLs in their filenames downloaded normally. As of 127 onward, however, it gets changed to _3A instead of %3A, etc. Is there a setting somewhere in config to revert this?

I noticed that the status bar on firefox shows the same text as the on-page text. It doesn't render the unicode url in full. I tried finding a bug describing this, but couldn't find one.

I cannot sign in to the New York Times today; on their main page it will not allow me to sign in to my account. I have called them, and apparently it is Firefox that is the problem. I can connect to any and all other sites. I can connect and sign in to the NYTimes from my iPad as well, so I believe it is the version on my Windows 11 laptop that is the problem. I've cleared all cookies and history, restarted my computer, re-booted my modem even, and closed my VPN, all to no avail. I have version 129.0.2, and it is up to date. It was working yesterday just fine. Is there another update coming to correct this?
