Since `monospace` means something diffrent on every device, and I need consistency between clients I use `Roboto Mono` on my Website as ASCII-Art font. For some reason Firefox on Windows cannot render the font properly (view image). What can i do to fix this? The problem presists across my desktop and Laptop. I have always read downloaded .pdf files in Acrobat. I inadvertently changed the setting to "Open in Firefox" (I got a prompt and clicked it without intending to). I have changed the preference back to "Use Adobe Acrobat" in Settings/General/Applications, but Firefox keeps opening pdfs in a browser window. How do I get Firefox to abide by my preference setting?

Last Tuesday, Win 11 AND Firefox both updated on the same day, Firefox to 113.0.1. Ever since, my Firefox has experienced SIGNIFICANT lag time loading even the most basic of websites. It feels like Netscape 1.0 slow (yes, I'm that old). I've disabled 2/3ds of my addons to see if that would help and it hasn't. I don't know if it's an issue with the Win 11 update (KB5026372), with Firefox or some combination of both, but any help in addressing this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Firefox opens with a new tab containing 8 links per row. However, all subsequent new tabs have only 6 links per row. They used to always have 8 links per row. Why? A bug or a configuration change? I have made no changes.

FF 113.0.2 Win 7 64 Bit

When I read a pdf online it gets downloaded even though FF is set to always ask. When it asks I choose open with FF or open with Adobe Reader . Both downloads the file to my download folder. It doesn't ask what foder to download to even though I have FF set to ask where to download to in settings/general

I tried setting browser.download.improvements_to_download_panel to false as here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1370494 but it didn't help

I have adblocker plus and is not blocking my facebook ads. (I am using it on my iMac). So I removed it, then reinstalled it and it still does not block the facebook ads.

I tried refreshing firefox 3 times but it got stuck in the "almost done" part and I had to quit firefox each time since it would not complete the process.

What else can I do?

I had to reinstall windows 10 (this was done by Microsoft with my permission) and so firefox was uninstalled (long with all apps). i have reinstalled Firefox, but can't retrieve my old bookmarks. I have a file of very old bookmarks, but the "import/restore" function doesn't restore or import using that file. Help please. Can the up to date bookmarks be retrieved from my uninstalled Firefox?

I have 2 profiles in use. 1 for personal use with their respective bookmarks, passwords, and extensions, and I have no trouble syncing with this one. However; profile 2 that is for work use that has its respective bookmarks, passwords and extensions, has become a nightmare.

It happens that I have both profiles on the same computer and when trying to create an account in Firefox, the system asks me to enter the email registered in profile 1, with the warning that bookmarks, passwords and extensions will be mixed.

I mention that I have migrated from Google Chorme to Firefox for speed reasons and because I use windows 7 (I don't like later versions) Now well; in Google Chrome you could create as many sessions as were registered but in Firefox you can't.

Oh! I have been working fine with Firefox but suddenly an error occurs (it has happened to me 2 times in the last 2 months) in which the program closes and all the data of my profiles stored on the pc DISAPPEARS or is deleted (including cache), when I want to open them again:

firefox.exe -P

Then I have to give myself the task of synchronizing profile 1, but profile 2 I have to be importing from my previous Google account or importing a backup Bookmark.

The option to copy and paste the data from Firefox to replace it in the path (supposedly brings with it the data of everything):

with Firefox turned off it has not worked for me. Since when opening I see 2 profiles called Default "X" and Default "Z" without data.

This is a headache that if it happens to me, it happens to millions who have 2 or more profiles.

Why can't I sync a second profile? Why do you insist that there can only be one sync per device? Is there a solution for this?

Note: I have read all the tutorials out there and the situation remains the same. Synchronization with 2 or more profiles is never described.

hello i have around 30+ themes and i want to delete all of themes (because i want to keep the favorite ones ) but if i delete them one by one takes time , is there any option to delete them all at once i haven't found anything on internet

I cannot install the Keeper extension for firefox on version 113.0.1. I get an error "Download failed. check your connection". I have successfully installed the extension on other browsers on the same desktop computer, and on Firefox earlier versions on other computers at home.

I don't know if breakage is the correct topic. I keep Ring.com open to the dashboard in a pinned tab. A few days ago, I had viewed and cleared videos as usual and later returned to view new activity. The site requires logging in every 30 days and so seeing that I needed to do so was not a surprise. What was a surprise was that the login buttons were grayed out. I closed the tab, cleared the Ring cookies and cache and tried again. No luck. I wondered if there was some other setting that I didn't know about and decided to open a private window and try it there. To my surprise, it works. I'm stumped. I'll attach the raw data from the private window as a .txt file. Darn. I can only attach an image. Well, I have it available and can copy and paste it into a subsequent post if you think it would help

On 112, I had my css set up to make the status bar hidden and only show the url path when I moused over it in the lower left corner of the window. It also cut itself short to only the length of the url similar to the www.wikipedia.org box in the attached picture. After upgrading to 113, my browser has this black bar at the bottom. When I cleared out my css file, urls would show up in the bar when I moused over them. I've tried a few different css fixes but none of them will get it back to how I had it working in 112. The picture attached is what I'm getting in 113 right now with the css below. the black bar below the mouse over url goes all the way across the window and is always visible. Hi,

Firefox is great but is there a way to add the Help => About Firefox webpage in Firefox home page? This is to simplify Firefox updates. Because although Firefox downloads updates, you still need to activate Help => About Firefox to update the Firefox version.

In Chrome you can add this to home page: chrome://settings/help and when you open Chrome it goes to this page and updates itself.

Does Firefox have the same capabilities so that we don't need to wait on users to click on Help => About Firefox to update Firefox?

Hi,

I recently added ESET Password Manager as an extension but I was unable to log on and use it on my laptop. In a nutshell, to be able to log on and use the extension, I needed to install the app on my phone as well and sync between laptop and phone did the rest. This solved the login issue however, there is no icon on the toolbar for the extension and if I want to use the Password Manager, I have to do it on my phone.

Any ideas on how this could be solved? I have reinstalled the extension numerous times, tried troubleshooting mode as well but that is not useful with add-ons..

Hello. When I paste something inside firefox, then firefox suddenly shuts down and after that a window pops up, informing me that firefox has crashed and asking if I want to load the previous session... No changes have been made to my computer lately. Firefox has been updated to 113.0.1 but the problem has not been solved. Any suggestion?

When I right click a tab I do not get the option to "Send Tab to Device" that I am used to on Windows. Is this missing from the Linux version? Or is there a setting for it?

I have searched the internet for this problem and could not find such things. I would appreciate any help!

For the past few weeks, Firefox has started crashing when logging into various websites. I've updated Firefox, cleared cookies etc, reinstalled Firefox, opened it in Troubleshooting mode, updated my OS, disabled extensions... everything I can think of. After some sleuthing, it seems to only happen when trying to log into a website. Doesn't happen on every site, which is weird.

This is so frustrating, please help!

Ubuntu crashes while moving around a Firefox tab with a mouse, IF the mouse cursor goes thru the top bar of the laptop screen. I am using Firefox V 113.0.2, Build ID: 20230522193126 on Ubuntu 23.04. This could be an Ubuntu problem or a Firefox problem.

I'm on the ESR and just updated from 112.0.2 to 113.0.1. I had text rather than icons displayed on my toolbar. Now the text has vanished and I can't find a way to get text OR icons back. I have a disabled extension Classic Theme Restorer installed, but I thought it was already disabled long ago. In the Customize Toolbar dialog, the unused icons are displayed with text labels. When I drag one to the toolbar, it turns invisible like all the rest.
