Just noticed the advisement of VPN being available and attempted to follow directions but had a very early breakdown. Neither "Get Started" nor a VPN icon are to be seen in my toolbar nor in my "customize toolbar" page. Kind of confused and appreciate any help!

I’m experiencing a serious issue after updating Firefox to version 150. Since the update, Firefox frequently freezes and crashes, making it almost impossible to work normally.

My laptop has 16 GB of RAM, and I’m using Windows 10. When I check Task Manager, I can see that Firefox’s memory usage suddenly increases to around 7–8 GB, then drops back down to around 3–4 GB. The memory usage keeps fluctuating heavily.

Also, the number of Firefox processes/tabs in Task Manager keeps increasing, and eventually the browser becomes completely unresponsive.

Could you please investigate this issue and let me know how it can be fixed?

I have a new mac, an M4 mini, and I set up Firefox the way I want it (the biggest ask has always been getting a bookmark to open in a new tab). Two days in, sometimes a bookmark opens in a new tab, and sometimes it doesn't. I have nothing else set up except for an ad blocker. I have not changed my OS from Sequoia to Tahoe yet, I strategically delay. It's not the end of the world. But I had strange things happen with Firefox on my other mini (an M2) in the last 6 months and I had to abandon Firefox and use Safari, which I hate. But that's a whole other topic. I've used Firefox forever, and it's my fave, and little things like this bug me. What am I missing? I set the option to False, and then reset it to True, and sometimes it works as it's supposed to, and sometimes it doesn't. So to not overwrite an open tab that has something important, I just automatically click on the 'command' key when selecting the bookmark. It's staying on my selection to 'true' and I've set it to false and then set it back to true, and restart Firefox, and I still get inconsistent results. There's nothing else that could be conflicting with this. I don't get it. Like I say, Firefox on my other mini just totally became unreliable and I had to use Safari. Any ideas? Thanks!

While launching Firefox VPN browser all of my bookmarks were erased. Additionally, my backup copy of my bookmark records was also deleted. I have not been able to reboot or restore the system. I need help.

When I opened up my Firefox this evening, I was greeted by a message stating that I now had access to Firefox VPN with version 150. When I opened up the link showing me how to activate it, I noticed I never got a popup on my browser stating to turn it on. Later when going through the instructions it recommended I try to add it from my toolbar but it was not there either. I am not sure if this was a bug or not but I am really excited for this feature and would love to test it out as soon as possible!🫶

Using a Mac Monterey 12.7.6 and uptodate firefox.

Trying to use "tree style tabs". I'm trying to drag and drop a tab named "CHILD" to a tab named "PARENT". Instead of appearing in the tab PARENT the CHILD tab disappears and its content is added to the PARENT tab.

I would prefer the child tab to nest within the parent tab.

I'm stuck signing into VPN. My email address is shown when I click on VPN in the menu bar but there's no on/off toggle. I click Get Started, it says "Signed in Successfully! Next: Turn on VPN" — but there's no place to do this. It says "Go to the open panel" – what is an open panel? There's an x in a dark circle next to the VPN in the menu bar. It feels like a continuous loop and I'm getting nowhere – that I can tell.

It used to be that when entering a search term in the search bar, you could use the arrow keys to select the search engine before pressing enter to make the experience entirely from the keyboard. Now, one must use the mouse to select the engine to be used. It also does not revert to the default search engine after executing the search.

I attempted to set *browser.urlbar.scotchBonnet.enableOverride* to false, and that did not work. I noticed that I had been involuntarily enrolled in an experimental study: Address Bar Update Rollout v1•rollout Address Bar Experience Update which may be the cause of this unwelcome behavior change. If exiting out of that study is possible to restore the previous functionality, please advise how to achieve this.

Please advise how to bring back this work flow efficiency.

We have an issue : we reinstalled windows 11 on a machine and thereby lost the account login used to sync Firefox. No way to recover it (we went as far fas as using file recovery tools but no luck).

Is there a way to recover only the account login ? No need for the password. I could provide the IP of the computer in question (it is a professional IP, not shared).

I Paid for Malwarebytes and that started a 4-month nightmare with inconsistent support from the company EVERYTIME I SIGNED ON COMPUTERS SAVED PROGRAMS WORKED DIFFERTLY. I install a free version of Avira same problems I installed a free version of AVG same problems

Love Firefox by the way... So, autocomplete in the search bar is often helpful, don't get me wrong, but it redefines the delete/backspace key to be context-sensitive. Now, sometimes it does what I expect and backs up one, erasing the character I just typed. However when autocomplete ghost text is present, that same key removes the ghost text only, leaving the character I'm intending to remove. This is enormously inconvenient as I now must watch to see what autocomplete is doing and adjust my behavior to comply. Were I designing I would not make the delete key dual purpose context sensitive, instead I would do both at the same time! Delete what I just typed and remove the ghost text. Safari started this, I complained and of course got no response. Subsequently I noticed the same behavior in Firefox. My suggestion, request, is that search delete key behavior not be decided for me. Either make this Safari behavior a settings option, by default is OK, so that I can choose, or (my preference) delete both ghost and previous character with a single keystroke! I am not a native English speaker, so I used translation. Please excuse any awkward phrasing. I previously updated my Firefox to version 150, but my tabs kept crashing roughly every 5 minutes. To solve this, I tried installing the Firefox ESR version. However, my profile had already been upgraded to the new version format, so ESR could not read my data. I then reinstalled version 150, but now I'm having profile issues again. I can access and launch my old profile through about:profiles, but I can't seem to save it directly as the default profile. I don't want to have to repeat this process every time I restart the browser. Is there a way to transfer all my data (bookmarks, saved passwords, add-ons, settings, etc.) to a new profile that works with the current version? Or, can I downgrade my profile so that ESR can read it? I have tried copying the files from %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles, but it didn't work after many attempts. Please help me. I really don't want to set everything up from scratch again. Thank you!
