Hi,

Recently I have noticed that my bookmarks which are in folders display only the icon not the text. The main toolbar shows both icons and text. This only applies on my desktop browser. iPad is fine.

What should I do to correct this?

To whom this may concern, I am requiring about getting back bookmarks I recently just lost. I had a list close to 3000 of them, however I reformatted my PC and found out there weren't being synced recently and don't have the bookmark backups in my file list anywhere. Have tried many data recovery software to no avail, if there's a possibility I could have access to my last few bookmark updates to the cloud that would save many headaches Thanking you

I posted earlier about a search settings problem. I have been monkeying with things until I got a reply7 that led me to a fix. Except now I cannot see my addons on the toolbar and can't figure out how to make them visible. They seem to be there if I scroll over the spot but are not visible to me so that I can use them. Right click gives me the drop menu but left click gives nothing. And how do you get rid of that dang puzzle piece thing?

i posted a crash question yesterday and got an email asking me to post these the time is the same i assume because i hit "submit" at the same time for all of them i'm posting blind here because there was no link in the email back to my original post - maybe something else that should be fixed

i searched for how to bookmark an entire window. google gave me: https://support.mozilla.org/bm/questions/94180 as well as https://support.mozilla.org/eu/questions/1144799 there are probaby many others.

1. both are archived. 2. both are obsolete. Unless I am doing something wrong, in the BOOKMARKS menu there no longer exists "BOOKMARK ALL TABS"

So, why, when an article is archived is it not marked as to what versions of FF it applies? another way to think of this: Why archive a question that WILL ALWAYS BE A RELEVANT QUESTION?

and what is worse: why does searching for "bookmark all tabs" come up empty searching FF help?

Another way: Stop changing FF so much !!!! It is a pain the you-know-what.

And, why does searching for "BOOKMARK ALL TABS" in FF doc come up empty? No wonder the same questions are asked over and over again.

In the image below you will see a large photo with thumbnails to its left. I should be able to "mouse-over" the thumbnails to access the related image, or simply click it... but yesterday that all stopped working in Firefox. I just installed "Brave" and it all works fine. Was there an update change that could cause the function to stop working? I have requested support for this issue multiple times. Please assist.

Firefox always displayed my website main image until the latest update. Now on any device that uses the Firefox browser my main website homepage image does not display leaving a huge white area on the homepage. This of course is now a major issue that did not exist with this same image before.

Nothing has changed in the programming of my website which is why I need support from your tech and if anything is blocked could Firefox please unblock my main image to show on all Firefox browsers?

I have an older laptop with very little memory, so I keep Firefox closed when I'm not using it. Both MS Hearts and MS Mahjong periodically open it to display their webpages. That brings play to a halt, and the game freezes, and sometimes crashes. Is there a way to block them from opening Firefox?

My issue is that I have a huge amount of likes in my Instagram interactions and I would prefer to not have to just manually scroll. There are extensions that if the scrollbar is at the edge of my browser screen they all work. but sadly if its a scrollbar not at the edge of my browser screen they do not take affect.

Firefox blinks and then crashes when attempting to visit various websites, specifically Unsplash.com (a stock photo site) but also inconsistently on other pages including Google search results pages. I have tried refreshing, uninstalling and reinstalling, ensuring all my drivers are up to date, and disabling hardware acceleration and webGL. The only time the browser works consistently without crashing is in Troubleshoot Mode.

When opening the following bookmark https://www.youtube.com/@msolrecords I end up with https://www.youtube.com/msolrecords and page not found. If I type the @ it works. I have FF set up to use only DDG. Part of this setup is that I have removed all other search engines from search options. Today Oct 7, 2023, when I booted up things were normal. About an hour ago I entered a search term in the browser and the search result came up on google. That should not be possible. I checked my settings and sure enough google has been added and placed atop DDG. Furthermore google cannot be removed when selected, the remove button is greyed out. The remove button is not greyed out when DDG is selected. !? What happened and how do I fix it?

I have not updated my build to the 118.0.2 version yet, the reason for that is because I've read a couple of reports of people suggesting that the 'Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar' from 'Settings > General > Tabs' is enabled by default, and thus there is no longer an option to turn it off.

I don't like to clutter my taskbar with tab previews, that's why I've always kept 'Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar' turned off.

Is this true? or is the option to keep 'Show tab previews in the Windows taskbar' on or off still available in the 118.0.2 version?

I had issues with my computer which got me into a situation where i had to delete all partitions of my drives, starting from 0. Signing in my firefox account in a fresh win install suddenly recovers NOTHING and i am now panicking as i had very important accounts & passwords, bookmarks, tabs, extensions, etc. I have tried other devices too without any luck. I need help recovering all these asap.
