When I try to manually delete all my browsing history from the browsing history icon, firefox locks up and nothing happens until I click my mouse button and I get the message box stating that Firefox is not responding and it gives me two choices, close the program or wait for firefox to respond-

Ever since latest update (153.0 (64 bits) everything crash. I can open Firefox, but as soon as I enter a website, regardless of what it is, it won't load.

If i try to close the app, there's always a process that keeps running. It can't close. And if I try to force it it says that access is refused.

After that I keep receiving these errors that Firefox is already open and I need to close the last process of Firefox to continue but even if I say to close, it keeps repeating until my PC finally crash.

Everything was working 100% until Firefox updated itself. No Windows update nothing.

I can't even send crash report since it does the same error.

Legacy Win 7 Pro machines were just upgraded (had no choice but to run them) and FF performance was fine with legacy laptops eight years old. The FF version was much older. With much faster machines and Win 10 running 152.x, now 153.0, there are chronic chokes with FF. Tab crashes. Videos NEVER loading, chronic rebooting etc. -- it just doesn't seem to ever end. But it's not my decision. However -- the shitte rolls downhill right into my lap because nobody else has the patience. Please do not suggest paid 'support' again, because I would get laughed at, given the chronic problems to date over a number of years.

To update my Intel graphics drive, I had downloaded and installed Intel support tool, which then used my default browser Firefox to scan and download the missing driver. After I was done though Firefox crashed and didn't open back up. You updated your browser on my pc today. Now I can’t open it. It opens but has not opened any sites. I’ve had to use bing. I’ve used your browser for several years but unfortunately I’ve not been able to. It locks up when I try to open YouTube. The blue circle starts and locks up. Too bad.

about every 15 to 20 minutes I hear a tone from the speaker and then Firefox crashes, on some occasions another msg box briefly appears saying something about Microsoft windows but then it disappears before it can be read fully.

Firefox keeps suddenly crashing, I have reset Firefox, deleted it and reinstalled it, I have used DISM and SFC to repair any issues and I have set up a new profile within Firefox with no extensions, but still I have the same issue, either tabs suddenly crash or the whole Firefox does.

Immediately after I downloaded the latest update 153.0.1 for Firefox on the Mac, I noticed an issue with the Clear Recent History request. Whenever I select Clear Recent History (under History in the top bar menu), the popup box that opens always shows it is "calculating" the data, even if I only visited one website and closed it (or left it open). If the Clear button is active, I will click it and the box closes, but I never know if the history was cleared.

However, many times, the Clear button is grayed out while the "calculating" is in progress, and it freezes up the popup box. I cannot close it or click on any other part of the screen. It appears to freeze (crash) Firefox. My only option then is to quit Firefox and reopen it. When I do, the popup box is gone. But I still have no confirmation that the history has been deleted. But after visiting one or more websites that I want cleared of history (news sites, etc) the issue reappears again as soon as I select Clear Recent History.

I have a whitelist of many sites that I allow to store cookies and site data. But for all other sites, I routinely clear my history when I am done viewing them. This issue has never happened before, so I'm wondering if it is a bug in the latest 153.0.1 update. Before I downloaded the latest Firefox update, I checked to make sure it was compatible with my current version of Ventura 13.7.8 on a MBP 2022. And the clear history issue never appeared when I was on Firefox 152.0.6.
