I have just updated Mozilla/Firefox and opted for the VPN option. Mac desktop, MS Tahoe up to date, my nominated browsers are Firefox, Duck Duck Go and Safari.

So when I go to start my first search, why am I offered a window to type in my query which invites me.... search with GOOGLE...??? I want nothing more to do with gurgle, I have gone to lengths to avoid those bolld suckers.

it seems that every time i enter a website it searches thru yahoo

Steps that remove my pinned tabs from Firefox:

Open pinned web app from taskbar. Open regular Firefox browser.

Any pinned tabs that were in the browser before opening the web app are lost.

Is this already reported? I can't imagine this is intended behavior.

By unfortunately my native language still missing. I am still surprised why urdu still not added as language in translation. Hi, I'm using a policie file to force a family-dns. Ive written the current code down below. Unfortunately this leaves the "manage exeption"-button open, where its possible to simply bypass the block for a specific site. Is there a way to lock this button in the policie file? I'm using Firefox Nightly, and I'm fully aware that preview features come with their fair share of bugs. Usually, it only prompts for a restart to update every 2-3 days, but today, I’ve had to restart 5 times. 5!!

I thought I used to be able to access browser history from much longer ago, either way I can no longer see any history longer ago than 29/10/2025 is there anyway for me to restore, download or access older history, or has it been permanently deleted? I do still have a back-up of 28/12/2025 but I don't know if or where that contains history. I'm looking for data between 2019-06-01 and 2024-08-21. Weird thing is I remember accessing search history that old before... though I'm not sure how if if it doesn't store it for that long. Any help would be appreciated.

For about a week now, I can no long read the comments on Huffington Post articles. Is it something on Firefox that's causing this? Previously their comments worked fine for me.

I'm using Firefox 150.0.1 on a MacBook Pro with MacOS Monterey version 12.7.6. I'm running Malwarebytes version 3.1.7 and have Huffington Post on the "allow" list.

I had sync turned on before I reinstalled my OS, and now I have lost everything. Is there anyway to recover the stuff that should be there? Yes or no. If yes please provide steps, and not the self help articles here as they are worthless.

I am unable to bookmark anything. Some suggestions are to open a new table then type about: profile and then hit restart. When I do that DuckDuck then searches profile.
