my bookmark bar disappered suddenly and all my tabs are gone. i tried to bookmark a new tab but it would not let me. and i didnt do anything different. opened my laptop today and i had to restore all tabs, and my bookmark bar is gone and all my shortcuts from bookmarks are gone too

Cannot connect to BBC Sounds web page (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds). Get the following error message: "The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

Have tried with and without a VPN, have cleared the cache, and shutdown/restarted Firefox, but no luck.

Connects without issue when using alternative browsers.

I wanted to change my Paypal password. I went to their page, and generated a password, but didn't save it. So I went through the password reset process, and asked Firefox to generate another secure password. Paypal rejected it, because it was the one I used before. Every time I asked Firefox for another password, I got exactly the same one.

Is that intentional? How do I change it, so I get a different password when I ask for a new one?

Latest version of Firefox on macOS, Mac Mini M2 - 8 GB RAM and MacBook Air M3 - 16 GB RAM: Firefox malfunctions on launch - I have to force quit and relaunch it - Firefox starts to load then freezes. Firefox works, then I launch other applications like Chrome, Thunderbird, etc. Firefox freezes on the M2 8GB RAM but rarely on the M3 16GB. A few weeks ago, these problems didn't exist on either of my Macs - since an automatic update that I didn't notice, it's now a consistent occurrence.

UNBELIEVABLE, I've never had this much trouble with a previous update. Your AUTOMATIC update closed all web pages that were open last session, offers no option to restore previous session, and took me 2 hours just to get bookmarks back. I had way too many pages open, but I have lost some important research for work that was in process. Multiple support options didn't work until I found one that would for bookmarks, but the history seems to be unretrievable. Not how i wanted to spend my morning.

I've seen similar reports of this in the past. But I believe my case is different.

I had to reset a password tonight, requiring me to re-login to the account in Firefox. But, the tab/window would just freeze. I don't see anything immediately being blocked (ie: any DNS filter etc).

But, I CAN get it to work in Debugging mode, which suggests either there is an extension that is blocking it, or something else (some variable that is otherwise active in regular running Firefox). I just don't know which.

Has anyone else reported this and what might be the issue? I suspect uBlockOrigin (one), which I do use. But the other extensions I use are just for Youtube, IG, etc.

Up until a month ago, I was able to download gifs from the giphy.com as actual GIFs. What has changed in Firefox and how can I troubleshoot this so I can get the desired file format of GIF?

Hello, Having some issues with two websites that don't load correctly. Can you help me with this ? It has been going on for a while withe my car brand website configuration page so I have to use Safari for that, but today it happened with my bank website. Unlike Safari, Firefox doesn't autofill passwords or 2-factor codes. Please implement these features or tell me how to get them to work. MacOS 14.4.1 Thank you, Steve

I have 4 macbooks and iphone w. about 10000-19000 bookmarks. Last n. I noticed what I bookmarked on 1 machine wouldn't show on another. A pop up said "your profile has reached a limit. A device can have ony one identity..make another (sic)...." I did that, and found the bookmarks from "classic" profile, WHICH I'VE HAD ABOUT 20 YEARS, weren't imported. I uninstalled, reinstalled Firefox, managed to get the bookmarks back via a desktop folder I'd made, thank god! It didn't restore the 50 passwords, and still won't accept the previous password..which is another can of worms-it actually won't let me change my p/w w.o "you may lose your personal bookkmarks passwords etc!:" Even the 32 digit code (which I had saved) is not working...and it doesn't let you get another one unless you have a p/w!!!! Is this sounding a vicious circle....I am going to not use sync or another profile, b'c I'd rather keep my personal data (bookmarks) and rightnow, I was able to 'restore' to the original profile!!

I've lost my bookmarks after Firefox restarted after computer crash today. The bookmarks library is empty, and I could not find another profile. I could not find "Old Firefox Date" on my desktop.

Dear Mozilla,

I use Firefox as my primary web browser.

I am constantly having to Force Quit Firefox in order to free up storage.

Please work on making Firefox handle storage better.

I HAVE NOTICED ON START UP, MY ACCOUNT NAE HAS A YELLOW FLAG TOP RIGHT PROFILES, AND A WHITE FLOWER. MY BOOKMARKS DISAPPEAR UNTIL I PICK A PROFILE AND ALL THREE SHOW UP AT SME. TIM ON MAC DOCK!!!! I TRIED TO DELETE THE EXTRA PROFILEES 9"TEST 1, TEST 2, AND MAC 13) BUT IT WON'T LET ME AND IT MAKES MY BOOKMARKS DISAPPEAR AND SIGN IN YET AGAIN!! HOW DO I GET RID OF THESE EXTRA PROFILES, WHEN THEY WON'T DELETE UNDER "TRIPLE LINES IN TOP RIGHT SCREEN/CLICK ON PROFILE/MANAGE PROFILES/.pictture icons appear of ea. look like large flowers....I press delete on any of them and I get a black screen (removes me fom even the correct profilee I was using)!!!!
