Hi, following a recent update installation I have not been able to log onto BT Webmail to deal with my emails etc, it seems to go into a kind of loop and keeps showing a log in page quickly, then it disappears and reappears straight away again, does anyone have any idea why this is happening, I have checked the version and it's 137.0.1

When I started using Firefox today, I found that I can't always click to open links. Often right-clicking to open in a new tab works, but I've run into at least one case so far that doesn't.

Examples:

1. the link to go to the log in page for a medical practitioner - right clicking to open in a new tab didn't work, I was able to open it in a private window

2. a "confirm subscription" link in an email - I right-clicked to open it in a new tab

3. I'm logged out of my password manager (Proton Pass) or at any rate when I click on the Proton Pass icon in the toolbar nothing happens - normally it logs in, or if already logged in, then clicking the icon opens the vault.

My computer installed a Windows update yesterday. I haven't futzed with any settings in Firefox or my usual security & privacy extensions recently. Not sure how to start troubleshooting this - aside from turning all of my extensions off just to be sure one of them isn't causing the problem.

having trouble getting into url from Fox News. after entering my email to receive a link to sign into the page I want, the little circle just turns and does not move to the website I asked for. It was working and now it doesn't. Jim

Hi there team! Since a Mozilla upgrade earlier this year, I have been unable to create a reply to certain posts made by folks I follow on Threads social media. It occurs about 20% of the time, intermittently yet consistently. When I seek to create a reply, the response window opens with a restricted field that does not allow me to enter any text. Please see the attached screen shot. It's just a box with no cursor. The restriction has never occurred when I'm on Edge or Chrome, only on Firefox. But I prefer Firefox. I am a senior who uses an IBM-clone desktop running Windows10 (contemplating Win11, but that's another story). I use standard Mozilla security settings for browser privacy. Firefox browser is current. I have attempted shutting down all ad blockers in isolation and in combinations attempting to rectify with no results. I am guessing I possibly have some setting out of whack, but I have no clue what this is called or how to fix this. Not a major issue but a continual annoyance and a puzzlement. Am I the only person who has this problem? Is it a Threads issue perhaps? (their help is non-existent). However the issue does not occur when I use Threads on my Android phone, and it has never occurred on Bluesky, Reddit, Facebook, YouTube or any other platform I access. I suddenly have random bookmarks along the top of my screen, just below the Google search bar. I cannot figure out how this happened or how to undo it. I HATE this and have already wasted a huge amount of time. Please tell me how to get rid of this plague. It seems to happen only when I open a new tab, but it is really annoying.

For the last couple of days, when I am using Firefox I am bombarded with security alerts ranging from "System Alert" to "Viruses found (3)" to "Trojan Detected". The icons shown are Windows, McAfee, Google, and others. Mozilla Firefox with its logo are in small print, top left corner. I am usually asked to click; I do not click! I scanned my computer (Webroot) and the scan comes back clean each time. The last line in all of these is "via d04e3a0hubcc73bbgvsg.chainintegration.co.in" How do I get rid of these? I think I am in he correct forum - my apologies of I am "off base" but I am ignorant of computer technology I use an accounting software "reckon" - a programme that originated in America I run firefox as my default browser I run my E mails through G mail

I send invoices from reckon in PDF format attached to an e mail created in Reckon to my clients. Everything ran perfectly (and has done for years) on April 1st. Last week Reckon failed and told me I had the password wrong. (This is rubbish - as nothing has changed) After a week of talking to Reckon help desk I was told that it was Firefox/Gmail who have changed the system and will no longer accept third party interactions. (I think that is what he meant)

Can anyone give me a work round?? Other than printing and scanning and sending manually - I did this yesterday and the time it took was just mind boggling. Many Thanks for any thoughts - as I am not technically minded please be simple in your responses

for some reason Firefox will not connect with my ATT/Ameritech account for email. It shows up that its an unknown error with AT&T. I can log in in troubleshoot mode, just not regular mode.

I'm new to Firefox after changing from another browser.

I am looking for a setting to turn on notifications from sites such as Instagram to notify me with a pop-up window from the web browser.

Is this not available on Firefox?

If not available, I'd like to suggest this as a new feature.

If it is available, would someone help me find this to turn on when I signed into Instagram? It did not ask me if I wanted to turn on notifications.

Hi,

On my "new tab" page, the "add a shortcut" button is missing. I can pin, unpin, move, and dismiss shortcuts freely, but only those which automatically appear. Unfortunately the page I'd like to pin is not in the auto-generated shortcuts list (even expanded to 4 lines). It is in my recently bookmarked pages, but the context menu there does not allow adding it to the shortcuts. I use Windows, Nightly 138.0a1 (2025-03-13) (64-bit).

For the past few weeks my credit union website has posted the following error code "A connection failure has occurred. Please try again or call the Member Service Center 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at (907) 563-4567 or (800) 525-9094.

I called member service and they blamed the problem on Mozilla, stating they are slow to update their security protocols to accept GCU's advance security. They refused my suggestion that they reach out to Mozilla and there is no direct way to contact Mozilla Support.

I have used this browzer for years with no problem, and now I can't use it on my online banking site; the only site where this problem occurs. HELP

Unfortunately, my workflow involves dealing with multiple PDF files per day. However, for some reason, Firefox's behavior with regards to PDF files is inconsistent.

• If I set the Action to Save File, Firefox downloads all PDF files, including those that it can normally open in the browser when I click a link (e.g. files hosted in servers that allow direct access to PDF files). As such, my Downloads folder is cluttered and needs to be cleaned regularly to delete the PDF files that were downloaded even if I could have opened them in the browser.
• If I set the Action to Open in Firefox, Firefox can now open those hosted PDF files in the browser instead of downloading them to disk. However, every time I download a file, Firefox then opens the file in Firefox after downloading, even though I need to edit the PDF file somewhere else.

Would it be possible to set Firefox's behavior so that it does BOTH of these things:

1. Open PDF files that can be opened in the browser without downloading in Firefox without needing to be downloaded, AND
2. Do not open downloaded PDF files in Firefox after downloading is complete.

We have been using firefox as our default browser for over Ten years. We have several internal web pages created with google sites, with simple google sheets containers that have been working fine in that period. As of two days ago, the pages started displaying incorrectly in firefox as shown in attachments. Have tried disabling trackers and extensions and emptied cache as well as making sure firefox is fully up to date. This is happening on multiple terminals at several locations. Safari and chrome browsers work fine. Any troubleshooting help appreciated or if this is a known bug?

I frequently use google image translate by taking screenshots and pasting them in the website. On chrome, I could grant it access to the clipboard on the first screenshot then not worry about it anymore. On firefox however, pressing ctrl + v first opens a context menu where I then have to click "paste" (or press p) every single time. It's getting annoying to have to go through this extra step. Is there a setting or add-on that would allow me to give a website full clipboard permissions like other browsers?
