I'm watching a movie and every around 2 minutes the movie stops and says you aborted media playback. i have drm content checked, turned off acceleration, and allowed the website to autoplay. i have no adblockers or security protectors activated on that site. and i am not using a vpn.

The box to uncheck "automatically trust 3rd-party root certificates" is greyed out, and I cannot turn it off. I do not want to automatically trust 3rd-party certificates. How to turn this off if box is greyed out?

I even tried to use the address bar suggestion to turn the "true" value to "false" but as soon as firefox reloads it is reset, & the way to stop that is greyed out.

Firefox is also saying "we've detected unusual traffic from your browser" every time I search, so I am concerned.

One of my email providers performed a maintenance routine. Subsequently I was no longer able to select the font type when composing an email. Oddly the source code for the composed email displays the font type I selected but the text displays in the email as arial only. The email provider checked my account and could not find any problem. They could select and print out the various font types. They assume the problem is with the browser (Firefox). So, here I am with no solution. Does anyone have any ideas how this problem might be corrected? Would uninstalling - re-installing Firefox work? Should some setting be changed, etc.?

I have had this problem for many years now. When I complete a customer journey on some sites, usually with a payment involved, the final submit button doesn't work at all, and I have to redo the transaction on Chrome.

This happened yesterday on Ryanair's site and, by the time I gave up and redid the journey on Chrome, certain prices went up. So, now I'm losing money :-(

Firefox has been my default browser for a decade or more, despite my husband's teasing me about this issue, but I might have to give up and make the switch to Chrome or Edge. Please help!

Please note that Firefox clears my cookies every time I close my browser.

Since I came back from 3 weeks off, it seems Firefox is not able to produce sound. I followed "What to do if Firefox won't play sounds" and "Fix common audio and video issues" but none of them seem to have resolved the issue.

I tested on Twitch, YouTube and mdn web docs for <audio>. None of them work.

• DRM : unrelated (audio on mdn doesn't work either)
• Clear the cache: done
• Disable interfering extensions : reseted profiles in about:profiles and during my tests I deleted C:\...\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla after a re-install
• Firefox settings : done, reseted as part of about:profiles deletion

Chrome, Edge and other applications don't have issues.

What am I missing? Thanks!

I am facing an "Aw, Snap!" error when I visit this website: [https://littlegames.io/|https://littlegames.io/] in Firefox. However, the same website works fine in Chrome. Other websites also open normally in Firefox without any issues.

Can someone please help me fix this problem?

I have Avast Antivirus that i purchased and it came with Avast Anti Track which i can not get installed because Firefox won't let it WHY?

I've been logged in to my Firefox browser on this laptop computer for at least ten, and probably more like fifteen years, nonstop, so why am I all of a sudden being "disconnected" every time I close my computer, without turning it off, and without having changed any of my settings? We are having periodic micro power outages lately, just long enough to make the microwave clock need to be reset, but I have turned off my computer many times in those years, both sleep/hibernate, and off, no power, so I doubt that's what's causing this, but....Can anyone help me, please -- it is becoming a serious pain to have to re-log in every time I open my computer and go to my browser. When i try and upload any image as a wallpaper i get this text "The image exceeded the file size limit of 0MB. Please try uploading a smaller file."

i tried with some of the default wallpaper options like the solid color ones and they worked perfectly but as soon as i try and set my own i get that 0MB limit along with the wallpaper i was planning on having just being replaced with a solid white image.

(this issue started a few hours ago for me)

Current situation: I start Firefox and it starts maximized. When I move the mouse cursor to the lower edge of the screen, the taskbar should unhide but it remains hidden. To correct for this by dragging the window so it resizes (floating window) and then maximaze by pressing the maximize button on top right. Now the task bar unhides as expected.

If I drag the window so it resizes (floating window) and then maximaze by dragging it to the top edge of screen, then the taskbar again wont unhide.

I must do this every time I open a new Firefox window.

I can replicate this whenever I want.

Good evening, my MX Anywhere 3S mouse started to exhibit a strange behaviour recently.

I have been using the 2 side buttons on the mouse being mapped to "Show/hide desktop" and "Escape" respectively.

In Firefox web browser, instead of "Escape" it inputs a "2" (number key) and the "show/hide desktop" shortcut triggers the "left Shift"

The cursor changes from the Hand, Caret back to a normal cursor when hovering. Also sometimes the cursor disappears entirely. Moving the mouse temporarily makes it visible again. The latter is especially annoying and it occurs on most websites including even the Firefox Add-on site. Refreshing the Which suggests it is not related add-ons (at least most of them anyway).

I have a different browser with the same user.js (BetterFox) and same chrome.css. However, I was not able to replicate it there. Maybe I need to have open many dozens of tabs. No issues with my browser otherwise, performance or memory. Anybody else have this issue or can help troubleshoot and find the cause?

When I last updated Firefox, about 2-3 weeks ago, all of my bookmarks, and the bookmark tool bar, disappeared.

I've tried to recover them using the automated forum, but nothing works.

How do I both get the bookmarks tool bar to always be visible and, at least as important recover all of my bookmarks - the ones that were visible on the toolbar, and all the others?
