Since the last two Firefox updates currently have 136.0.2 (64-bit) "Open link in new tab" has been doing weird stuff like.... 1) it will open the link in a new tab BUT also opens the link in the already open tab giving me two open pages the same. Kind of defeats the option of "Open link in new tab". 2) trying to highlight text is not as simple as it once was. Left click before the text hold then drag, sometimes it starts then the blue highlight box just disappears or jumps to a different part of the text and sometimes nothing at all happens. 3) the mouse has been playing up as well since the last two Firefox updates, click the x in a tab to close the tab nothing happens and it is not as accurate there was a sort of margin to where the pointer had to been before the command worked not right on whatever you wanted the pointer to operate now it has to be as accurate as possible before it recognizes the command as the x to close a tab ect. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the mouse and drivers still happens. A still image would not really show the problem I need a video but I don't know how to do that and could I upload it? Hello, My Firefox recently updated (it's now v. 138.0.1), and now I can't seem to create tab groups anymore. When I move one tab on top of another, nothing happens. What can I do to get this useful tool back? Thank you!

The new group tab feature of latest update of Firefox browser (just downloaded) doesn't actually work. What's detailed in the description doesn't exist. I'm using macOS Sonoma version 14.7.5 Of course it restarted following the upgrade.

tabs I do not have open appear below search window, how can I stop that’ for ‘Firefox?

Sites I do have open are at the top, that's all I need, this extra vector of links I don't want now clutters by screen and may be using my resources.

I've been using tab grouping and it is really helpful.

But this morning when I created a new tab group called "MISC" I was unable to add any tabs to it.

1. I noticed that this new group happens to be the 11th group I've created. So I'm guessing that there may be a limit of ten groups. Am I right?

2. And now, some hours later, I see that the new MISC group does appear on my tab bar, but one of my old groups, TECH, has disappeared, but its contents seem to have been added to the MISC group.

I need last link I middle-clicked to open to the right of current tab. If I middle-click links 1,2,3 on page 0, I need tabs to be 0,3,2,1, instead FireFox places 3-rd link after the 2nd and 2nd after the 1st, resulting in 0,1,2,3. I tried changing browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. browser.tabs.insertAfterCurrent is "true". The only thing I found is https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/open-tabs-next-to-current/, but it interferes with "Clipboard to Tabs" addon and occasionally seems to not work.

FireFox behavior is also wildly inconsistent. It depends on whether I switched to these tabs and interacted with them. Some interactions cause it to forget they were "related".

So, I recently encountered this problem: If I close the main Firefox window while a private window is open, then when I open a regular Firefox window, I find that all pinned tabs have been reset, and I have to set them again.

This problem has never happened before, so I figured it was clearly a new bug and I should report it.

We hate this useless so-called feature and you've completely failed to give us an OFF switch! It's been many months with countless complaints and still no OFF switch! We've had this conversation before, all of your ideas must come with an OFF switch, especially so for the dumb ones like tab pinning! You don't ever force this dumb crap on us, ever!
