My default search engine in Firefox settings is Google. I deleted Yahoo search from the list of browsers in my settings. Nevertheless, all of my searches recently began going through and using Yahoo search. This is the search path that comes up in the search box: https://search.yahoo.com/yhs/ . . . How can I stop this?

Hi Guys this is a new issue and never happened before nor does it happen on any other browser I use If I happen to miss key when typing Firefox automatically opens a search and replace box window in the bottom left-hand corner and it is annoying the hell out of me. If I can't get this to stop I am going to have to change browsers, I have fat fingers and miss key often, so this happens many many many times a day. You can see what I am talking about in the image

I downloaded something today that installed "Cubbie" and Yahoo. I have no interest in either,especially since Cubbie pops up as my search engine. How do I get rid of it? Thanks! BB

It's becoming very annoying when I open up my Firefox browser only to open a page and there's BING sitting in the upper left part of the screen. I got away from EDGE because of its invading characteristics. I have checked to make sure my default browser is Firefox. And it is. So how do I get rid of them?

the clear option on search bar is not working i troubleshoot , restart and even reinstall the Firefox but it is not working . All other options like microphone camera all are working except clear option

in the settings I set Google as default search engine. Yet, every once in a while, when I search in the URL field, it searches via Bing, and when I check the settings, it - for whatever reason- has reset Bing as default search engine. I would prefer to get rid of it entirely, is there a may to completely "deinstall" that feature or something?

How do I disable the link association function of the new tab page? Sometimes,when searching a certain link ,after I finish typing and I press the Enter key,it will redirect the link but not the search link. I need search,search,search the link,not redirect!!! I tend to have long and extensive conversations on Firefox's Copilot AI but I've run into an issue that makes this more difficult. When I press CTRL + F to search for text through a chat, it only searches on the webpage I have open on the right. I was wondering if there is a feature that exists that does this that I'm not aware of, and if not, maybe that could become a thing later?

To allay concerns about a Microsoft warning about a Firefox installation, why when following Mozilla advice isn't the result persistent? By this is meant that Bing is used instead of Firefox (Google) in the search, Is this how China steals so much intellectual property?
