How do I undo a Firefox update? I liked the last version better. Tab bar location not being movable is really killing my vibe. (Also the fact that it pops up with only one tab, which I don't like.

One of the big advantages with Fx compared to other web browsers is the bookmark feature: separators.

This feature helps to organise bookmarks and make menus easier to navigate, especially for power users like me who build big bookmark libraries.

One problem though, there seems to be no support for syncing separators! Am I correct or is something wrong in my setup?

The bookmarks sync fine but separators are lost between computers.

If there is no support for syncing separators is there a plan to fix this? Meanwhile, is there a workaround?

P.S. A great way of using separators is to make titles in menus by using capital letters with separators around them.

Example: ________ [Separator] BOOKS [Folder] ________ [Separator]

With the latest update a lot of ease-of-use has gone away. Include is the fact that tabs that are playing sound only show an icon when I hover the mouse over them. I can not seem to about:config to get the sound icon to remain, despite changing the setting. This means if multiple tabs are playing I have to search all the tabs individually. It also means I cannot quickly switch to the desired tabs muting and unmuting as I prefer.

While this is a specific problem which I hope you can solve readily, it is a part of a pattern I have seen over some of the more recent updates, where useful features are removed in favor of aesthetics. It was this very mistake that lead me to leave internet explorer for firefox. Leave us the ability to turn on and off what we like, instead of forcing us to accept whatever you think is the trend.

Not to be rude or anything, but the new Versions Layout (89.0 64bit from June 1st) looks Horrible. Why is everything so Floaty, Big and Hidden? What happened to the Simple, Clean and Sharp Previous Layout?

Is there any way to get the "Old" Layout Back without completely reinstalling the Previous Version?

I share the issues with using the new .89 version because of the poor new interface "HMI. "as hoping the new ugly indistinct and messy interface would grow on me, but the experience using it is the opposite! Is there a way to keep the updated version but get the 88 HMI or any good HMi?

I have tested themes to see if any can improve the user interface a bit, but the core issue is that tabs and other interface parts seem to float into each other and is both hard to use and difficult to look at. I feel dyslectic.

Some theme like this improve on the visual issues with color, the it still suffer from the lack of borders between elements.

There are no more borders around the tabs except the active one. It is hard to click click fast to change to another tab - special with pinned tabs with some icons blured with the theme I love. Also the theme-icons got deactivated and there is now the lower bar empty without the tabs. They went up into a new bar higher added. How can I fix that with boardred tabs located downwards and the intuitiv easier clickable icons back?

I used to have a nice blue strip across the top of any active window. It is now grey, which I find depressing and it is no longer possible to see when a window has gone inactive. How do I get my blue back? I tried downloading Firefox colors but when I tried to use it it wouldn't load, I waited and waited then gave up. I cannot take a screenshot of the strip I am talking about as is it outside the screenshot field. (Above it.) Many thanks, Kitty

The problem relates to certain operations in the TradingView site [ https://www.tradingview.com ].

Specifically, it is not possible to copy an existing "chart layout" or create a new "chart layout". The browser returns nothing and displays the following messages in the console window:

The TradingView technical team insists that the problem is due to Firefox. In fact, everything works fine when using Chrome or Vivaldi.

In Firefox settings, Firefox new tab, and in these mozilla forums, my add-ons are disabled. Specifically Vimium, and I get this message when hovering over the Vimium icon: "Vimium is not running on this page.

Your browser does not run web extensions like Vimium on certain pages, usually for security reasons.

Unless your browser's developers change their policy, then unfortunately it is not possible to make Vimium (or any other web extension, for that matter) work on this page."

How can I enable this, and possibly all normally active add-ons in these pages?

With that said, I've changed my email across my Firefox account, however there seems to be no way to update the email address that Relay forwards to (my old email address, which I no longer have). Is there a way to update?

I have upgraded to Firefox 89.0 (64-bit) several days ago.

The new look is interesting to say the least.

However, I am more irritated with a functional change or something.

I access Facebook via Firefox on Windows 10 PC.

Facebook reports arrival of new posts from FB friends or comments to my posts.

It used to be that these reports appeared as non-modal dialog and so I can ignore them and type in something into FB window freely.

With Firefox 89.0, I suddenly notice that these reports appear as MODAL dialog and I have to clear them before I can type anything into FB window.

Is this behavioral change intended by the developer?

I'm really not liking the new look of the tabs in the 89 update to the point where I'm about ready to find a new browser. Is there a way to revert to the previous look?

Windows 10 changed my default browser to Chrome and will no longer let me choose Firefox as my default browser in Settings. Has this happened to others, and is there a solution?

hello since update of newtest version of firefox 89.0 (64-Bit) the browser is freeze and i receive message "do you will wait or close the browser". When i press wait so the windows is reload and ask if i will do wait or close firefox. I have only possibility to close firefox. The problem is all time. When i have chance i can use firefox 2-3 hours without problems. Many time i open Firefox after 5 minutes its freeze.

Whats happen? before i have do make update not problems....

My System: Ubuntu 18.04.5 LTS with 89.0 (64-Bit) Firefox.
