I accidentally signed in to the Firefox sync from my office computer which downloaded all of my account information I saved on from my home system. Now, I have disconnected from Firefox sync on my office computer but the data still lives on. Tried using CCleaner tool to clean browser cache but to no help. Please guide me on how to get this cleaned off from my office system.

Mate just tried 'calling' me on Firefox Hello, message popped up, ding noises sounded, but I couldn't click the 'answer' button, but kept dinging. She sent me a link to chat, but got an error message saying Hello only works on browsers that support WebRTC. Weird, right? Try it in safe mode, same results. Try it with a fresh reset, same thing. I tried 'calling' my mate, an error message says she's unavailable. Tried making a room, it works, sent her the link, she gets the same message about Hello is for WebRTC browsers. I'm currently on version 41.0b4. Help?

In last few FF editions I'm experiencing some difficulties:

When I use a quick search box I'm typing some search keywords and then on keyboard I use up/down arrows to select search suggestions. But then if I navigate with left/right arrows and try to delete one keyword or one letter it removes search suggestion instead of the normal delete function.

How can I disable this?

downloaded latest update now find I cannot use google as search engine, tried to reset in options but will not accept. keeps shunting into yahoo. Understand that there is some form of agreement to embed yahoo in firefox? I really do not want yahoo prefer google as search engine. so what are you doing to put right this, frankly have always liked very much firefox as browser, but do not like being "dictated to" (assuming that is what is occurring.) I am running windows 10 advice please

When first logging on to a site, I'm prompted for the master password. That's fine. But when I want to log in to an already remembered site, I want to be able to enter the master password only once in a given time period, say 12 hours. Then I won't have to enter the master password for every remembered site I open. I previously used Roboform and it had this feature, which was nice. Or it could be 12 hours or when I leave Firefox, whichever is first.

I updated Firefox and now my Dashlane extension is disabled. I like both Dashlane and Firefox and do not want to change either one but I need them to work together.

When i set breakpoint in same script on both regular firefox and developers edition Firefox, i can access variables in debugger tab on regular Firefox. Developers edition Firefox always shows "no variables to display".

How can i fix this?

Mega.nz has an add-on that is verified and firefox does not want to install it because it is not verified!

This has happen to me, I have a verified clean website but google disagrees. This has also happen to a ever growing number of clean websites, surely it's time to stop using google's blacklist as a guide, instead use a list provided by professional's in this field, i.e. most anti-virus companies, google can not be trusted, just look at google's chrome, a definite badware/malware and key logger, where one's personal info is given to google then handed over to the NSA and CIA.

A adware named as 'ads by name' is annoying me while browsing on Firefox. I've checked Control Panel and firefox extensions but nothing is helping me. Clicking on any link link opens a new tab of advertising websites.

It will work for a short while but eventually causes firefox to completely freeze until I end the "plugin-container.exe" process in the task manager (which causes it to stop working obviously). I have uninstalled and reinstalled, I have attempted the deactivate hardware acceleration option, the option under plugins that firefox also suggested isn't even an option anymore (maybe it was for an older version of flash?) but either way this is getting old since practically every website uses flash either for ads or actual desired video and I'd like to be able to browse the web. Any help would be much appreciated!

my password wouldn't work to sign in to firefox. so I asked for a reset e-mail, got this message instead: "Account activity notice A device began syncing with the devices connected to your Firefox Account."

What to do? Also, after reinstalling, I set yahoo.com as my home page. what comes up is e-pub reader, WHICH I DO NOT WANT

Firefox has been my prefered browser for many years and has worked well for me. I do watch a lot ofvideos - YouTube, Yahoo news, etc. Until a few days ago, everything was fine. For some reason, many videos (not all) started appearing choppy...skipping. The audio was fine and unaffected, but the video feed was not smooth. I tried trouble-shooting this on FireFox today. One of the suggestions was to add the YouTube player for FireFox. I did that and it appears to have helped with YouTube. But other videos (Yahoo, Advertisements, etc.) are still appearing choppy.

Hello, I have problems to login into the Firefox-Sync process. After the last update I have a yellow line at the bottom of the browser window that states that there is a sync problem and that the password would be invalid. After pressing the buttom "Preferences" I can go to the preferences panel, but after clicking the "login" button, I only get an empty page (see attached figure, where I have collected the three screenshots of this process). My system is a Mac with OSX 10.9.5, Firefox is 41.0, I tested with running but disabled Noscript plugin. Any idea how I can reactive the login? BTW: the login data have not changed. I can still login on the sync-sebsite at https://accounts.firefox.com Thanks! Norbert
