I'm using Windows 11 and I've turned off graphics acceleration, ensured that the drivers for Firefox and my graphics are all updated, and turned off all extensions, plug-ins, and themes, I've cleared the cache, and it still keeps freezing and crashing within minutes of opening the browser. I don't even have to go to a resource heavywebsite to get it to crash, just the Google homepage or any other simple site. And in task manager, I can see that it's using increasing memory until it crashes, but I don't understand why. It never used to do this until yesterday. Anybody have any ideas?

I am experiencing a recurring issue with Firefox on Kali Linux.

Environment:

- OS: Kali Linux (running inside Termux on Android) - Connection: VNC (RealVNC) - Device: Android phone (low RAM) - Desktop: XFCE

Problem: Whenever I open Firefox, tabs frequently crash with the message: “Gah. Your tab just crashed.”

What I already tried:

- Disabled hardware acceleration - Disabled recommended performance settings - Ran Firefox in safe mode - Created a new Firefox profile - Lowered VNC resolution - Restarted the system

The problem still persists.

I believe this may be related to graphics rendering or memory limitations under VNC/Termux.

Please advise if there is a workaround or configuration that can prevent this crash.

I've got constant crashes jn last update Firefox 148.0.2 (Desktop). Often it happens when Google Meets launched in browser and i started switch between tabs or another applications. I've been having this problem recently on Windows 11 with Firefox, where switching my input language to japanese (ALT + SHIFT keys) causes the browser to crash immediately. This happens about half to one third of the times I do it. It didn't happen before and I'm rather confused.

Searching on Google brought up a few similar experiences, such as this one, but the suggested fix (switching intl.tsf.enable to false on the about:config page) didn't work for me.

- However I think it may be to do with a recent bookmark entry stored in the bookmarks bar?? The website is a national UK hardware store and it seems to open OK. I cannot be sure but I think the problem started after I added this bookmark. It is a real nuisance and I have had to switch to Edge. Please advise how I might fix the problem.

When I login to amazon, it asks my user name (normal), then asks my password (normal), then when it sends a code to my phone, it freezes the entire browser and I have to force quit Firefox. Been happening a week, I've cleared history, run several programs (Malwarebytes and CCleaner-with normal results) and restarted my computer (Macbook Air running Sequoia 15.6.1). Any fix for this?

Every time I attempt to log into X.com the Firefox browser stops working entirely. Dead. Nothing. Won't open or function. Need to restart my computer to access and use Firefox. This does not happen when I use Chrome.

I just today upgraded to Windows 11 using the save apps and files option. Now I notice several times that Firefox occasionally crashes to a white, then black screen which requires me to log back into my windows account. Is this a known issue?

Why does Firefox Desktop now completely crash every time I press the Ctrl and cursor keys whilst navigating through text?!!! Very frustrating and I've had to abandon using your app completely. Please fix and redeploy your app as a matter of extreme urgency!!! thanks

When I open Firefox for the first time after logging in to my macbook, after a few minutes, a second Firefox icon appears in the dock at the bottom of the screen. Why is this happening (only started a few days ago)? And how do I stop it?

I have installed Firefox but when trying to load it up, the programme crashes showing three crash report windows. Any idea how to fix?

hi when I play on facebook june's journey the game starts to crash in several different ways, windows 10 is supposed to start on october but I have been having lots of problems on mine since they send the end agreement notice, I am a 76 grandparent and I am not interested in new changes I am ok with my computer as it is, I've paid for windows 10 when it came out, and i will not pay again for a new one.
