Ich habe versehentlich ein Passwort in dem Passwortordner gelöscht und benötige diese Passwort aber wieder. Wie komme ich an das Passwort wieder heran.

This morning my firefox would not start up so I use that other one (E) and d/l you 64 bit I reinstall it and I have No bookmarks at all How do I get them back or can I use the other by import and search for the cvs file and the other one call html if so where would they be located at?

after this last update, all my bookmarks are gone, I read the restore article and did everything, but the profile folder is empty, I do have an external harddrive that I use to back up every week, but I don't know how to use it to restore the bookmarks

"The bookmarks and history system will not be functional" error message has suddenly appeared in just the past couple of days on my new DELL Inspiron 15 3535 with Windows 11. I have followed the first few items on the Mozilla Support page that comes up as soon as the initial Firefox opening page appears and that has not corrected the problem.

I have tried to follow the next few steps but can't really find what it calls for because I don't understand what it's talking about. I am not of the tech generation and do not speak the tech language. Most of the terms in there I do not know what or where they are on the laptop.

Is there anybody who could help me saw through the terminology and give me some ideas on how to simply solve my problem? All I really want to do is get to where my bookmarks are hidden and put them back in place where I can use them again.

I was prompted to do an update today and it erased all my bookmarks. I have a saved bookmark file that is a JSON file type but it won't let me import that b/c it's not HTML. I have a lot of saved bookmarks for work and really need to get them back.

I am trying to find the files for my passwords from an old profile after Firefox just updated and created a new profile. I have just created a Mozzilla account so my profile can start to automatically update with all of my old passwords, but I first need to manually transfer them from my old profile that didn't have a Mozzilla account yet. I have been following the steps for doing so from the "help" pages, but I haven't been able to find the files for my passwords.

All my bookmarks and history were erased when Focus was (automatically) installed. Same with passwords generated by Firefox. How do I get all this back? It should be in my original profile, but that seems to be gone, too.

I opened Firefox (V 145.0.2) on my Windows 11 laptop today and noticed that the starting window was the only one open, while I have had at least five windows open for quite some time. The "History|Recently closed windows" option is greyed out. I have closed and restarted Firefox dozens of times and my windows always came back until today. Is that window/tab history stored somewhere where I could recover it?

Thinking about backups of the browser state, I looked for my profile folder and discovered that it is empty - \Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\mozilla is empty except for a file named vpn.moz. I then discovered that my profile seems instead to be stored under \Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Packages\Mozilla.Firefox_n80bbvh6b1yt2\LocalCache\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles with the folder name e5di8bjy.default-release I now learned that this location is standard for installation via the Microsoft store - the so-called MSIX version. But it is wrong that the "About"profiles" page shows that my profile is in the AppData\Roaming, not the Packages, location. When I try to open that profile folder, I get a message telling me that it is not available on this computer. It seems like the profile info should be aware of the actual location?

Firefox updated on my computer yesterday, and now all my bookmarks are missing. How do I find and restore them? I am not a computer geek, so the explanation needs to be like to a person who has never seen a computer before.

After running a CCleaner health check on my computer I have lost all access to my bookmarks and the Fire Fox home page does not display my most visited websites as icons.

I recently lost all my data on my computer and after logging into my account, I couldn't retrieve my firefox data. I searched everywhere on my browser and couldn't find nothing to fix this.

I'm trying to upgrade from FireFox 128.14.0esr to Firefox 142 on a Mac running Sonoma 14.6.1. Everything seemed to install except for bookmarks and history . When I've done previous upgrades the new FF has automagicaally peeked into the old FF and copied over the bookmarks, including the bookmark toolbar, history and previous autofill info, etc. This time it didn't and I didn't see anything that looked like an option during the install process. It did ask about getting something (I forget what) from chrome or safari; but nothing from the old firefox. The help articles I found didn't seem to tell me what to do. Any suggestions?
