Is it possible to add a feature of a description/comment to the about:logins so that you can specify what the u/p is for?

ie, i have sites using ip addresses (that must not be given hostnames) that have a u/p but could do with a description to say what they are for. ie2, i have a website that is used to connect to different devices where the username is always a certain username, but with a different password per device. Firefox offers to change the password saved (but it would be changing it for all devices, not that particular one).

Hello, when I download PDFs and open them in the Firefox browser, only the text blocks or image blocks have a white background. The rest of the page then has a dark background. I have already checked things like dark mode etc. Do you have any suggestions for a solution?

Help me return to correct settings in Firefox so I can enjoy playing "June's Journey" and "Pearl's Peril"(which isn't opening). As I explained in my question, there's a wide band across top of "JJ" game which appeared, as well.

  I cannot sign in to MyAntmarks.All attempts fail.I have tried many times changing my password but it is never recognised. When you say my account is open I still have to sign in and that is when my Email and my password is not recognised although you can always email me. Please can you sort it out

Then you asked me to move to Mozilla.

Today, I login with Mozilla account and my saved pages are not here. Do I need to link the two accounts or what should I do to view all my contents in account '*Hidden for privacy*@gmail.com?

I don't even have limited access to my internet because of this, so I cannot access the "future dates" to rename them as something perhaps botanical. In addition I am snowed in with late winter storms. My commputer is a Windows 7 Dell, (i.e. rather vintage) which I have always found fully adequate until now, and the problem is NOT with the computer.

Just bought a new iMac. Firefox will not run on it. Any attempts to dump and reload have failed. Apparently the software does not ask for permission to access the network. Is this something that will be fixed soon, maybe it's something to do with Apple? Anyway, should I try to download an older version of Firefox? Firefox is my preferred browser. I don't want to be forced to use another.

I do not store my usernames and passwords in firefox, I use a password manager. I also disable Remember Passwords and "Remember search and form history" For some reason before I unlock my password manager my "user name" from Site A is inputted into Site B's login field...

How?

It should have never been saved by anything in the browser yet it exist somewhere.

I made two alterations in about:config

browser.formfill.enable false browser.formfill.expire_days 1

This stopped it from inserting the username and I'm hoping this will remove the username from wherever it's saved but I want to know what file it was that contains form information?

To the appropriate person I have used the Firefox browser for many years. And will continue to do so. I have been given a challenge. The Firefox browser refreshes the websites several times just as it reopens the page again and again. The mouse pointer chops across the screen. It all started within the last week. Is it a setup error or an update that didn't go as it should? I don't have the same problems with Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Kind regards KlausW

I really like the Firefox browser and use it daily for my daily reports. But while it shows on the taskbar on the bottom of my screen, I cannot get Firefox onto my home screen. Could someone please help me fix it!

Hi, I'm using FF for year for development and had several problems with cached data in this time. Now, since the last update (automatic update yesterday), Firefox is caching my js for localhost and ignores nearly everything to stop it.

F5 and Ctrl+F5: no effect Enabling "Disable cache" in devtools: no effect changed about:config (no effect): browser.cache.disk.capacity 0 browser.cache.disk.enable false browser.cache.memory.enable false devtools.cache.disabled true

Only going to settings > privacy + security > Clear Data helps. But as you can imagine, that's really bad DX

I tried a FF-addon for clearing css cache, but it's outdated and doesn't work.

Is there anything I can do, to disable cache for localhost?

I don't understand why this aggressive caching problem is ignored for years and gets worse every year! Why are settings like "Disable cache" in devtools so broken? I tested other browsers and have not found the same issues. I don't want to switch browsers! I just want a cache free localhost! FF can cache the sh*t out of every webpage. But please leave localhost out of it!

I am multi-layout language keyboard user. During editing text in javascript textbox (such as editing sheet name in Google sheets) in Firefox, when I pressed win-space to switch language:

1. expected behavior: I can continue editing my text with keyboard layout switched

What happened instead:

1. keyboard layout is switched 2. a space character is added the to the text. and got popped out of text editing mode

Is there anything I can do about this issue? Please help.
