Like the title states - now have to scroll back down through all the bookmarks in a folder because it no longer holds its place. This is a great time waster.

Thought I would try to save some time by opening bookmarks in new tabs, but it then switches to the new tab immediately and I still have to scroll back through the same folder to open the next bookmark.

Is there a fix for this issue?

Starting today, for some reason when I access my bookmarks, I have to start from the very top of all my lists of bookmarks. In the past when I accessed a bookmark, and then a clicked on the bookmark tab to access ANOTHER bookmark, my bookmark list would show where I had left off from the previous bookmark within that list. Now when I access a another bookmark after I had accessed a previous bookmark, my bookmark list starts from the very top of it instead of where I was previously within that bookmark list. Being I have many bookmarks, it is a real pain to have to constantly scroll down from the top of my bookmark list every time to access another bookmark. This peculiar situation just started today. In the past this would NOT happen when I accessed my bookmarks. Can someone please explain and help me? Thank you.

I searched Firefox for Merryfield Veternary services in Hamden Ct. The site gave a wrong telephone number and incorrect E-mail address and Hours of operation. Tried to get Merryfield to correct this error but they said it was on yelp and they could not correct it. My concern was that my pet almost died because I was calling the number listed which was not correct leaving messages on that number and not getting any return call. Then found out the errors presented in the web search to find their location. This should be corrected I almost lost my

I recently updated to Firefox 110.0. The tabs display at the top of the window in Firefox Mac as they always have.

The problem is that they auto-hide in Firefox Windows and I have to press the Alt key to re-display them. I want the always visible. How do I turn the auto-hide feature off?

I checked for browser extensions on the Windows version and don't have any installed. The only plugins are codec- or encryption-related.

I'm not sure whether this new behavior is new to 110 or to a less recent version as I use the Windows version less often than the Mac version.

Have to keep scrolling bookmarks folders from the top instead of being able to pick up where I left off LIKE IT USED TO BE.

Also, instead of being able to right click and open bookmarks in new tabs to try and speed things up, it immediately switches to the new tab, which means having to scroll from the top of the folder AGAIN anyway. And yes, I'm well aware of the "switch to it immediately" option in the settings menu, and that box is UNCHECKED in my settings.

I'm not the only one complaining about this time waster, yet no replies from support on any of the threads.

For the first time this morning I discovered the following issue: I have a big list of sweepstakes bookmarks with a bookmark folder hierarchy, and Firefox does not remember the last view position of the bookmark side panel scroll bar. As a result, I have to scroll down and manually search the position myself. I expect Firefox to display everything as it was at the time it was last closed. Your help will be extremely appreciated. Microsoft Edge has been wanting me to make the switch, but besides the learning curve, I've been using Firefox for a number of years now, and would like to continue doing so. By the way, I believe the latest Mozilla Firefox update may have been the cause.

I'm running the latest Firefox (110.0) and have a long list of bookmarks. Up until yesterday, when Microsoft pushed their latest Windows 10 updates, clicking "Bookmarks" from the top menu bar always positioned the list of bookmarks to its most recent selection. Now the list is always positioned at top. I find it annoying. Any ideas of the change? Thanks.

I found an article that tells me to sync from my old laptop, allow several hours, then log into firefox from my new laptop. But once I sign into Firefox here on my old laptop (windows 7 and now very slow) I don't see anywhere that allows me to sync. Is it still true that I need to get my info from my old laptop to the cloud or wherever sync is, before trying to get it onto my new laptop? I especially would like to be able to see my bookmarks in the folders I have them in here on my old laptop. And have the bookmarks as a drop down off a top bar. I hope that is still available. I will be running some errands for a while so might not respond immediately. I will check for responses after I get back home.

Hello all.

I've been using same account for over 6 years and all my bookmarks that I had for 4 hours ago are gone.

I format my computer and re-install win10. Nothing wrong or cracked etc. I installed Firefox as always and login my account, weirdly I got "wrong email password" error and I reset my password and login Firefox, I expect to see my bookmarks but nothing came. I just moved on other installations and when I am done with them, I return back to this issue and I can not find my bookmarks anywhere.

Can I have some help please ? They are very helpful for my business and personal life.

Thanks for your assistance. -Cuneyt

I have trouble moving cards properly on a solitaire site when using firefox. What happens is when I scroll down through the deck, I get to a point where when I click on a card the one before it appears. I figured out that I can cycle through flipped cards to get back to the one I wanted to use. When I use google chrome, I have no issues.

Ever since Firefox went to version 110, when I click on a bookmark to open it that is in the middle of the alphabetized list like starting with the letter 'G', it takes me to the page, but if I want to go to the next bookmark down in alphabetical order Firefox goes back to the letter 'A' at the top of the list making me scroll all the back down to 'G" again. When you have 200 or more bookmarks, this can be frustrating. Is there a way to fix? Thanks.

Is there a way to keep pinned tabs on the current website? I would like to pin a few tabs that persist even if I use the URL bar to navigate away from it.

Let's say I have gmail as a pinned tab. Currently if I'm in gmail and I type in a different URL then gmail is no longer available, I'd like firefox to know that I want to keep gmail open and it would open the URL in a different tab. Is this a possibility or is there an extension that could help with this?
