My bookmark features has stopped working. When I click the star, it does not turn blue and I cannot bookmark anything. Is there a fix? I have stuff in the bookmark area and would not like to loose it.

Hello. I'm having trouble with bookmark icons in my browser. Sometimes the icons show up, but sometimes only the globe appears. I've tried everything, including installing the "Bookmark Icon Loader" and "Bookmark Tab Icon Changer" add-ons, but it didn't help. Is there a way I can change them manually in the browser itself without any add-ons?

My Bookmarks are missing. I see backups under the profile/bookmarkbackups folder but when I manage bookmarks, they are not in the restore dropdown. I have followed the steps to delete the places.sqlite but when I reopen firefox, I do not see the bookmarks have been restored. I thought it might have been related to Norton Utilities so I renewed a subscription but no luck. I also have a json file with my bookmarks but I cannot choose it from Manage Bookmarks, either

Is it coincidence that this is happening on my Windows 10 machine since MS support for Win10 officially stopped? Gosh, I just don't know! grar grar grar

I have a new computer and I want to sync my Firefox account but the Sign In button next to Sync and save data options are missing from the browsers in both devices.

How do I fix this issue?

I downloaded firefox desktop for my imac 27" none of the passwords I had on file would work so I changed the password and tried it. It appeared to work but after a while the incorrect password came up again. I continued to try using the code you sent via email several times and even though it appeared to. accept the password it still rejects your code. I have tried both caps and lower case characters but it still rejects the login

Hey , I’m hoping someone here can help me figure this out. Firefox has been acting weird for the past couple days. A couple of my tabs keep reloading themselves for no reason. I didn’t change any settings, no extensions were added, and there are no error messages. I already tried clearing the cache and restarting, but it’s still happening.

Keeper password manager stopped working on Firefox about a month ago. It is the Keeper auto fill that is not working. I have exhausted support from Keeper. They cannot explain it. I have removed and downloaded Keeper and Keeper auto fill about 10 times to no avail. It works on Chrome and Safari, but not on Firefox. All devices and accounts are up to date with the latest versions. I am having to stop using Firefox for now because it is such a hassle to fill in all my passwords. If I can't solve it, I'll have to try a different password manager, or stop using Firefox.

Using latest Firefox browser, when I open Google and want to ‘paste’ a word, it will not let me. Instead I get this default message, that I can’t delete. I can type anything I want, but I can’t ‘paste’ a word or words. How to fix please? HP desktop PC Windows 11 64 bit I see there is a 'new' (to me) AI mode icon in the 'same' search window as where you type on the 'right' of the search box. Maybe I just haven't noticed because I didn't have an issue before.

Just a week or so ago I could no longer login to Vanguard using firefox unless private version was used. THis happens on any product where firefox is default browser-Windows, Android and MAC all give a login/password error and nothing shown in the previous fixes work. Cache, troubleshoot mode, extensions and the other stuff have no effect on access. I can use Chrome and edge (both of which I hate) with no problem.

Since around version 96 it seemed some new core changes made to how ff operates. any one care to share what the "big changes" were around that version rollout tldr?

since ver 96 ff became secondary browser. Using to test/isolate issues w/chromium (sigh). Now since ver 132 profile manager opens browser for correct profile everything looks good then 20seconds later ff crashes eorror: Exiting due to channel error

Inspiringly i see this forum is being used still so thought i would see if anyone has ideas what changes btwn ver 96/101 and 132 which may cause this new issue, maybe i can backout the changes and get back to using ff as a secondary backup again ....

IDK about anyone else but i LOOOOONG for the ole days when ff was a daily driver option on linux

i have a firefox account on my old windows 10 computer. Firefox is having trouble "finding that site" for some sites I've used for years. I've checked internet settings in Firefox, reset my WIFI router, etc. with no response for connectivity. But I really guess I don't know what or where to check... Good day, I'm trying to use my TAB key on my keyboard to move to the next input but instead it only functions as an Enter key now. Which means I physically need to use my mouse to click on the next input field in order to move to the next section. Such a small and basic function that is now gone- and unfortunately a deal breaker for me using Firefox. I need to work fast, working through thousands of lines of data, I cannot sit and click on every field. None of the fixes I've found works.

When using vertical tabs and having bookmarks toolbar only visible on a new tab, there is this behavior where if you are on a website (bookmarks toolbar not visible) and then open a new tab, the vertical tabs move because they need to make space for the bookmarks toolbar. Would it be possible to make it like it is, for example, in Microsoft Edge, where when you open a new tab, your vertical tabs do not need to move because the bookmarks toolbar is as if off to the side a little bit, so the vertical tabs do not need to provide extra space for it? My hope would be for the bookmarks toolbar to be next to the vertical tabs, not above them.

I just purchase a new computer. Windows 11. When I first set it up I tried to log into Yahoo.com mail on 4 different browsers. None of them worked. Either had the error message of "1. Disable Ad Blockers 2. Enable Java Script". or "something went wrong". I disabled the ad/pop up blockers but cannot find settings for Java. I am not having trouble on any other device, nor with any other website.

I restored the computer to factory specs since I had hardly anything on it. That did not work either.
