Good morning. I'm trying to configure my shortcuts on my home screen. Specifically, I want the shortcut button's icon to display the website's favicon, rather than just the default circle with a letter. I set the custom icon field for the button (as an example) to:

I have verified that this favicon exists and I can load it into a separate firefox tab. However, it won't display in the shortcut button. I've tried restarting and trashing some caches without success.

Where am I going wrong? I'm on FF 151.0.4 for Mac OSX 26.4. Thanks, Eric

I'm using Firefox 153.0 on Fedora 44 with GNOME 50. Everything is up to date at this date. I know that Firefox is supposed to support fractional scaling on Wayland since version 146.0. However, it does not work on my device.

As you can see, the first screenshot is when Firefox is in fullscreen mode. Fractional scaling seems to work and the text and picture are very sharp. However, when I resize the window, it looks like Firefox does not support fractional scaling (see my second attached screenshot). The text is blurry and not as sharp as when the window is in fullscreen mode.

I've selected a new themes in settings. But anytime I restart Firefox (153.0.1) the new theme doesn't appear and is replaced by a different theme (the same one each time). Not a serious problem, but annoying. Thanks for any help.

I have switched from all color to just a highlighted silver color to all the pics and black and white for the youtube entries. how can I change back to all color in both. ijk

As described, I (changes being intended as temporary) changed the maximal size for the sidebar to open upon hover. Only when, at that length, I try to revert the change, the sidebar closes before I can "grip" the edge of the sidebar to shrink its length.

My issue is not that I cannot fix this change. My issue is that my change isn't permenant. I followed the standard steps of "Right-click anywhere on Sidebar > select 'Customise Sidebar' in menu > let Sidebar collapse > in 'Customise Sidebar' panel deselect 'Expand sidebar on hover' option > close 'Customise Sidebar' panel > pick up the RH edge of now stationary Sidebar by hovering mouse until the 'gripper' symbol (double-headed arrow) appears... drag RH edge of Sidebar to desired new max-open width."

The issue is that, after doing this, the sidebar reverts to taking up half the screen once I re-enable "Expand sidebar on hover" and reversing the steps listed above.

Any help would be appreciated! I'd rather not have to re-install.

Hello I seem to have lost the ability to choose whether my bookmarks toolbar displays icons and text or icons only. At present I have icons plus 4 letters of text fading out. I want to return to icons only. How do I do this? Regards

Information: I am using a custom theme, and rn im making some changes using about config mainly changing parfait.urlbar.results.compact parfait.window.borderless parfait.traffic-lights.enabled to true.

But my browser is unable to remember these and when i close and open it back up, it changes back to its old self where all of those are false. please help!

Mt new OS iPad uses Firefox Win11. There are no extraneous symbols on my browser screen. I cannot move Whenpointer arrow to click right top corner to close full screen mode.During setup no option to add toolbar. Hp

I don;t know whether it is Firefox of Win 10, but I can't seem to reduce the amount of white space (or reduce the line spacing) when viewing websites. I'm at 80% size which is the best compromise between getting more information on a page, and legibility. Having a font which is darker or thicker would help as well, then I could reduce to maybe 60 or 70 %.

I do not have the function to customize my display screen to dark anymore after the last update, why? The screen shot below used to be a White on Black screen before the last update now it Black on White and I cant change it back
