I downloaded firefox desktop for my imac 27" none of the passwords I had on file would work so I changed the password and tried it. It appeared to work but after a while the incorrect password came up again. I continued to try using the code you sent via email several times and even though it appeared to. accept the password it still rejects your code. I have tried both caps and lower case characters but it still rejects the login

I told my banking site to trust my computer but I changed my mind and want 2fa back. When I go to my banking site using chrome, it uses 2fa so I know it is not on the banking site.

What do I need to do for firefox to start using 2fa for this site again? It says firefox browser is up to date and I'm using Windows 11. Thanks, Steve

For several months now I am not longer able to use Firefox when signing into sites (Bank of America, ID me) that authenticate using a security device. I have refreshed firefox and turned off enhanced tracking protection for those sites - but no change. When I long in and get to the authentication stage I immediately get an error before using the device; then later when I refresh and use the device Firefox freezes and is unresponsive. It does not show "unresponsive" in Force Quit - but the only way to do anything is to quit firefox. I'm running Sonoma 14, the latest version of Firefox. This is a major problem - I'm using Firefox for security and now I have to go to another browser each time I want to securely sign in to a site.

I recovered my account using a backup code and set a new password. Two-step authentication is enabled but I don’t have the linked TOTP app. The settings UI does not allow disabling 2FA and does not offer backup code input. I still have unused 10-character backup recovery codes. Please advise.

Hello, I have tried everything...filters, added contact, blocked senders but I'm still not receiving any email from Firefox. I need my verification numbers to continue to sign into my account. thanks in advance for helping, Scott

I used to log into my Vanguard account until, maybe one month ago. Now it requires me to take a picture of a square box with my mac desktop computer. Don't know how to do that. Can I use the old Fire Fox update?

I was trying to sign in to siriusxm.com. A box came up that said "Please insert your security key", with a diagram that looks like a flash drive. It said the request came from FireFox Mozilla Corp.

Is this one flashdrive key that will work for everything Firefox Mozilla Corp wants to guard, or it is something required by SiriusXM? I've never heard of it, but have seen it pop up for two or three things in the last week. I don't know how to satisfy the requirement. I looked though the topics on FireFox help page, and nothing mentions it that I can find.

I received an email saying that someone had signed into my account. I want to secure my account and don't know how? I'm also not sure the email is real and isn't a scam and don't want to click on any email links...

I am having trouble setting up Two-step authentication.

After I scan the QR code and enter the code, I am presented with below error: Incorrect two-step authentication code

I first tried scanning the QR code using Microsoft Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried scanning a new QR codeGoogle Authenticator app, which did not work. I then tried to manually enter the secret key into Google Authenticator app, which also did not work. I then tried scanning another new QR code with the Twilio Authy Authenticator app, which also did not work.

Can anyone help to resolve?

i recently disabled 2fa and installed a new authentication app: Ente Auth. i keep getting invalid code each time i enter the generated code. i tried both options, scanned the QR code and entered the secret key manually. i used authy with success as my auth. app with firefox but can't use authy anymore. keep having issues setting up 2fa with other auth apps. thanks for any help you can offer. peace, Adrian

Hello, I am 70, it is not possible for me to go to my gmail and get a code and retrieve where I have to write the code in 5 minutes. If you have a solution, please tell me how to do that. Otherwise, I will give up.

How do i stop having to type in 6 letters when signing in now. This is new and I'd like to stop it for EVERY time I open Firefox. Once a week would be fine! Thanks
