Recently I have had to sign in to my sbcglobal.net email account every single time I open Firefox on my desktop computer. Firefox is default and my sbcglobal.net mail account is set as my home page. This is not a problem on my iPhone. What is the problem with the desktop and why did it start within the last week or 2?

With the old FIREFOX Start/home page I could have up to 4 lines of bookmarks showing on my start up/home page, but now there are only 8 showing. Can I add more, and if so how? Thanks

Hi, a while ago I have set my browser homepage to have links to recently visited sites and pages and I had set a background too, but a few days ago it suddenly seemed to forget about all my search history and settings for some reason, as you can see in the screenshot below. This behavior does not happen with any other part/functionality of the browser. I don't really know what could be going on, so I'm reaching out here.

Normally Firefox sponsor ads on home page occasionally inserts an new ad. I will support some occasional ads by clicking on the new ad to give Firefox 'click credit' then deleting new ad. Today when I delete the new ad another pops up 10-15 times an will not stop. That is too much. I do voluntarily support Firefox with monthly donation.

How do I stop the constantly returning ads?

I manually added shortcuts to my home screen, but everytime I open the browser, the system automatically has added shortcuts I don't want. Also, when I delete these unwanted shortcuts, another unwanted one appears.

how can I stop this from happening?

Recently when starting the browser I've seen that Microsoft Defender blocks requests to one of my homepage shortcuts, due to it finding the URL suspicious. My question is as the title suggests: does Firefox ping the URLs or fetch metadata of said domains automatically/in the background to update the icons, website title, etc? It is always suspicious to find Microsoft Defender stating it blocks request to websites I haven't accessed in a while. So I'm trying to deduce if it is a feature and not a ghost in the wires...

I just experienced a hijack when I clicked on a help link in a trusted site [HP.com] while researching my printer information. It hijacked my system until I was able to clear it with an app. Now when I start firefox a search page is started with searchingswift.com in the address bar. I need to know how to delete this command. I can close it down and start a new window with the proper address bar, but I want the hijacker gone. Thank you

Hello After the latest update of Firefox browser, the "Add Shortcut" option is no longer displayed and is only displayed for the first time when you open the browser. However, when you open a site and want to return to the home and shortcuts section through the "Home" option, the "Add Shortcut" option is no longer displayed and I have not been able to add shortcuts to my home page for a while now.

I want shortcuts, but not the ones I visit, just the ones I save. Is there a way to make it just the ones I save, or I have to have both. If I must have both, please make it so that its separate.

I saved about 15-20 URL and pined them on my home page but from 2 days before i couldn't see anything on my home page. please ,help me to solve this problem,,,,i have some important URL's there.I also add a screenshot of my home page .
