Hello Mozilla,

I am about to trash Firefox ... an app that I have used for years, but in the past few weeks it has become an item of frustration.

I have the lastest version which in itself works great but recently cannot remember settings from session to session. I have reviewed comments on the subject but cannot find a solution.

Help please ... or it will be trashed within the week.

I use ccleaner to run regular cleans on my computer. Noticed after running it today that my history wasn't deleted. I tried manual delete to see if it was a ccleaner but and still no deletion. I turned of history sync in my profile, also checked that permanent incognito mode is not turned on.

Last resort I uninstalled and re-installed (twice, once using REVO) yet all of my history is still there.

Any thoughts?

My browser, OS and drivers are fully updated.

Despite following the instructions ,I am unable to clear my browsing history. Every time I click on to "clear history," nothing happens. I am afraid to re-install the browser because my wife also has an account on the same PC and I do not want to delete here bookmarks etc.

my delete history has not been working since yesterday. I have not changed anything to my knowledge in settings so please help in correcting this. I have looked at settings and not sure if something changed or ?

I have not used private settings at all.

I can delete history entries in a date range from today, 1/16/26, back to 1/10/26, but not 1/09/26 or before. Is it intended that earlier history is to be not deletable?

My search history is clogged with repetitions of the same search. For example I log onto my bank account and the search history shows 15 plus or minus entries. It also happens with other sites i visit often. I searched the internet about "history" and It was suggested that is check extensions and remove them. Then Just today my bank sign-in icon was gone. Sorry Im not always using the correct terminolgy.

a couple of months ago FF suddenly stopped reopening the last session and instead opens always the same from a specific date. performance has been poor to the point that I can barely browse FB anymore. cleaning temp files didn't help. what's the best way to go about it? is there a way to export the history before doing a refresh or new profile? thanks

I need to permanently save my browsing history, but I haven't found such a function in Firefox. Firefox regularly deletes my browsing history, which I really dislike. I need it to accurately and precisely save my browsing history without any omissions. I need a solution to this problem.

No search history is covered in the settings. Used to be able to be able to check HISTORY in settings but it always is empty. Something must have changed with the updates cause this has been going on for several months now. Appears you've done away with the History feature. Can find no help in your settings concerning how to restore history. This was a useful feature and Im swiching to Google which I despise but at least they still offer this feature I like.

Years ago i had an issue with this useless browser. I had the setting to start where i was left of, so the taps should reopen as they were but every time it was starting from the beginning also with different windows than what i choose from settings. i have deleted the browser and now i have downloaded it again but i face the same issue. You cannot talk with a real agent so this is the worst browser ever. I am only try to use it because i have to, otherwise i would NEVER EVER use it again after all this issues. As i cannot get help from Firefox as they don't even have support team... Can anyone please help me with that. Thank you
