Hi,

I'm autistic and I find the new design updates really, really disturbing and I need to change it back to the old design.

I read on the help article for reverting to older versions that it'd be better to ask if there's a workaround instead of downgrading because of the security issues, so yeah does anyone know how to revert to the previous Firefox design and maintain the current version of the browser?

By the new design, I mean the roundness of everything and the teardrop shapes for whatever's left.

I'm still gonna revert back for now but hopefully there's a fix I can use.

After updating to Firefox 153.0.1 on my 2026 MacBook Pro Silicon running Tahoe 26.5.2, my Firefox sidebar refuses to open, either by toggling the menu bookmark sidebar icon or pressing the shortcut keys.

I have just download firefox, but I can't browse any web on firefox. Then, I tried firefox ESR, it doesn't work eather. Only setting page can be open. Microsoft Edge can work well (image 1 left is Edge), and my internat is OK, only Windows Defender work.

Ever since the last update, I can no longer watch recordings on xfinity stream with Firefox. What happened? Can I fix it? I sometimes have to start watching programs late, but they wont play while recording. I can watch those same recordings when they are finished, but not while they are still recording. I can watch those same recordings while recording on Chrome and Safari so it's not an xfinity problem. But for some reason not on Firefox anymore Is there a setting I need to change? Thanks Ron

My account says it was set up with a Gmail email account. When I attempt to add a secondary account it says I already have that account. But I only see my gmail account. How to I change my primary email?

I’m still unable to access Newsmax articles in Firefox. I am getting this error:

“You don't have permission to access this resource on this server.”

The important detail is that Newsmax works normally in Microsoft Edge on the same computer and the same internet connection, so this does not appear to be an IP or general connectivity problem. The problem appears to be specific to Firefox.

I contacted support yesterday but did not receive a response. Could you please have your technical team look into the Akamai/Firefox access denial associated with the reference number above?

At random times when opening the browser, all my tabs (except the first one) turn into about:blank. Relaunching the browser does not resolve the problem, and there is nothing in the history that allows me to restore them. It is extremely frustrating, as this is the third time I have lost all my tabs.

I have FF-156 (snap) on *buntu 26.04, and if I use a custom user agent for privacy reasons, I no longer have access to some websites because Cloudflare thinks I am a bot. Somehow, Cloudflare is able to detect, that I am not running FF on Windows, and that suggests that some sort of fingerprinting defeats FF security settings.

Steps to reproduce on Linux: Update FF to latest version (156.0.Something), create a new profile, and go to "about:config", search for "general.useragent.override" and set the string value to "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64; rv:156.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/156.0". Go to "https://www.raspberrypi.org/forums/viewforum.php?f=63" and you will enter a "Verifying that your are a human" loop.

How can Cloudflare detect this change, and what is there to do about it?

Before the last update, I’m using version 157.0 now, it was possible to simply move a complete Firefox tab using drag-and-drop. I frequently used this feature in a multi-monitor setup. While it is still possible via a right-click and the "Move Tab" option, that takes more effort than simply clicking and dragging.

Is that just switched off and hidden in some options, and really no longer possible?
