I have a gpu rtx 50 and recently decided to use rtx super resolution to improve watching online videos but I can't make it work on firefox, I'm currently using the DEV Edition x64 latest version HW Acceleration is enabled and I also tried modifying via about:config the lines: media.peerconnection.video.use_rtx gfx.webrender.overlay-vp-super-resolution gfx.webrender.super-resolution.nvidia

It still doesn't work! tested in the other versions of firefox and it also did not work Using brave, chrome and edge..works normally without having to do anything. Does anyone know what it can be???

I am trying to log on to my account at SketchUp. At the login page i hit get started and a black page come up except in the top left corner is typed "Firefox not responding" the page hangs a few moments then it takes me back to SketchUp login. I have not had any recent updates done or required since last logged in and that was yesterday all worked well.

All searches get blocked by reCaptcha, quoted as being caused by 'unusual activity on the network' After going through the "I'm Not A Robot" process the search is o.k., but this happens for every search. The problem does not exist if I switch to Chrome. How do I fix this?

I am on Windows 10 Pro (extended to Oct 2026) and use the Firefox profile manager at startup since I have more than one profile. Today (11/12/2025) I attempted to start Firefox and the profile manager window would not populate. the window was blindingly white on my dark background. I closed and restarted umpteen times but it refused relentlessly. I was about to uninstall firefox and then decided to see if I had actually installed it on any of my mobile devices. And indeed I had it on my ancient Apple iPhone 7+. And it was synced! I refreshed the sync and indeed it picked up my most recent activity from last night. All tabs were synced. To make sure I had another synced copy I also installed it on my iPad. I synchronized this too and suddenly my desktop browser started working again.

I don't know what caused the lockup of the Profile Manager but I am afraid it might happen again. What causes this and what can I do to regain control without having to reinstall? I am a researcher and I have over 1000 tabs open.

Although set to open previous pages and tabs it doesn't do so, furthermore I must sign in to all e-mail accounts, google, Facebook etc every time I open my Firefox Developer Edition

I am using Ubuntu 23.10.1 with KDE Plasma desktop environment. Since recently I've been experiencing the following problem with Firfox document viewer: after a period of inactivity, PDFs become unreadable, and seem to cumulate everything that was displayed on screen (see screenshot). Ctrl + F5 does not help, and neither does closing the window and opening a new one with a link to the file. KDE Document Viewer displays the same file correctly.

After many months of asking if my computer could update Firefox, I finally agreed 2 days ago. I'm trying to shop for gifts on Cutter & Buck's web site and no data and photos will show up. Nothing shows. (cutterbuck.com)

I do not want my searches to be reflected in the address bar. I believe in prior versions of Firefox there was a checkbox to delete that provision. I'm using Firefox 123.0 64-bit with Windows 10 and have been through the setting and more tools areas but found no way to remove that function. I did try the about:config suggestions but still have no joy.

I've had an ongoing issue with Firefox now for several months since upgrading to windows 11. When I try to copy text, or images, url's or anything really that is supposed to go to the clipboard, it copies a blank text with no data instead. I can copy text and images from other programs and even paste them into text fields on Firefox but I can't copy from Firefox to anything else and it's frustrating.

I recently got forced into upgrading Outlook in windows and hated it so I started using Thunderbird and surprisingly, I have the exact same issue there as well.

I really want to get this fixed and working, I don't want to have to switch to another browser =/.

When photos, videos, or websites are linked on a FB comment, it used to display a thumbnail preview below the comment. Now it just shows the link. On mobile, the preview appears. So I'm thinking a setting got changed on the desktop version.

Does anyone know what the issue is and how to correct?

I have an issue where I go to website and I get a message that the website is temporarily available. I cannot go to a different webpage for what URL I want. I believe this has to do with history. I suspect I can get past this by flushing the history. I can get to the website I want by using a different browser such as chrome. Ho do I fix this?

IBM clone using windows 10, firefox 125

Starting with my bank's web site, my user name/password is being challenged. I can't bank. Elsewhere, where my desk top has always been recognized, I'm now forced to log in each time...and I receive an email that a new device has just logged into my account. All of this suspiciously coincides with a recent browser update. On my bank feedback it's showing as Firefox "125"...when all previous logins were recorded as Firefox "124". Help!
