Hello, the Firefox app often stops responding when I have multiple tabs open or when a more demanding process is running in a tab. Also, Firefox stops responding when I copy a screenshot. I have tried the browser without any extensions and the problem persists. I use EndeavourOS based on Arch linux, I use the current version of the system and Firefox.

I want to open Sky community but FF just flashes up a blank white page, yet it opens ok in MS edge which I dont use. If i cannot get what I want to open I will have to leave FF.

I encountered a strange behaviour, which doesn't seem right to me, as follows:

1. I load a webpage with a picture
2. I right-click onto the picture and "Open image in new tab". The picture is shown in the new tab.
3. I replace the picture on the server
4. I reload the first tab. It correctly shows the new picture now.
5. I go to the second tab again. It still shows the old picture (so far that is obvious and expected)
6. I reload the second tab. It does *NOT* update the picture!

Retrying this with Developer/Network opened on the second tab shows the size of the *NEW* picture and "cached". (304 Not Modified) That would be correct (because the picture was already downloaded in the first tab), but I might suppose the page shoud then change to the new picture.

When I engage the "Disable Cache" checbox in the Developer, things work as expected - but that seems quite obvious.

This is FF 128.6.0esr, built for FreeBSD 13.4

Cross-Check: chromium also reports 304 Not Modified, but does update the picture in the second tab on reload.

Every day when I come back to my mac and firefox is open, it will not respond to any new web address. I can put in any web site and it resolves the full page name, but does not open any site. I have to close firefox completely, which is a pain when I have multiple pages open. It does not matter if I have one or tabs in use, I am forced to close out of firefox completely in order for it to work again. This has been going on for years for me with firefox through multiple versions, multiple MacOS, and multiple Mac systems.

Hi there I've been using firefox for long time and I love that it utilizes gtk4 in gnome. To make it even more like other gnome apps I found I can remove the tab bar and combining everything in one bar. That way it looks like vanilla gnome application. But I don't like the extra clicks I have to do to get side bar or tab list open. I couldn't find any extension that will provide icons only tabs I can insert into the toolbar. So i can someone help A): implement the tab bar besides the url in the toolbar or the other way around the url besides the tab bar? B): display all opened tabs in a page that I can set for a new tab page? (this sounds a great idea can't believe I can't find extension that can do that!) C): at least have the sidebar with the vertical tabs to autohide? Does anybody know how to do any of these 3 or maybe have a better workaround?

I use Firefox on MacOS 13.4. to read mail from a provider. For some strange reason some mail bodies are being displayed with a completely garbled and unreadable font, see attached image. However, not all mail show this behaviour. Is there any solution for this?

when i go to Facebook i continue to get network errs and also in Facebook I keep getting something went wrong reload the page. I have disabled and deleted some add ons an even tried in trouble shoot mode and still i get it. I have tried every thing i know how even refreshed Firefox. I do not get it in Chrome and it has much of the same add ons or extensions. I tried to send a report to Facebook but you know how that goes.It is getting annoying Not sure if it Facebook and Firefox or just Facebook . But if ti is not happening in Chrome or edge that leads me to come to the conclusion it is Firefox

WHY?

Hi, I noticed about a week ago that when I would have Firefox windows open on more than 3 of my displays, the newest window, when maximized, would appear with white bars. This does not occur when Windowed or when troubleshoot mode is on. I have attached a photo of the error (suggestions omitted for my own privacy). Bugged window does not respond in this state and cursor does not blink etc. Other Firefox windows work fine. I'm running a custom color scheme, Dark Reader for Firefox, and AdBlock for Firefox. Issue does not occur with Chrome or Edge, which have the same, if not more extensions loaded. Glitch presented itself near the beginning of November.

Please help!

I'll check on this every once in a while, and am willing to run tests.

I just had to clean install Firefox after having problems. I've pretty much set it up how I want it, except when I quit Firefox and then re-open it all the tabs come back. Which I don't want. The box in the settings page for opening with previous session is unchecked. What else am I missing? I re-started my computer just in case that was an issue but the problem continues. Thanks

I am able to log in to my microsoft account and open my outlook, but when I click on a message I get an error msg (see attached). When I use Chrome I am able to access it. This problem started yesterday 2.8.2024
