Whenever I try to browse the Internet using Firefox, I get a message that says: “an error during a connection. The OCSP response is not yet valid (Contains a date in the future). Error code: SEC_ERROR_OCSP_FUTURE_RESPONSE. The page you were trying to view cannot be shown because the authenticity of the received data could not be verified.”

This message is coming up more and more when I try to use Firefox and I don't know what to do about it.

For perhaps a year I have been using Autofill to input my credit card details when buying online, but suddenly Firefox has forgotten that I had saved a payment method. Is this a recognised fault? I'm now reluctant to input them again as I don't know where they have gone!

Good Afternoon, the FOE Helper extension stopped working properly with its latest update 3.6.2.0, specifically the event assistants. I have rest Firefox and reinstalled the FOE helper extension, still broken. It was working fine until the last update. Any ideas on how to get it working completely again?

I had a new windows installation done without backing up the firefox profile while foolishly resetting the firefox password too without using the recovery key and effectively losing my current data.

Is there anything that could be done to restore the data to my account or is that the end?

Please fix it so that we can either shut off or resize favicons in Google search results. This is with Firefox 123.0 using the default settings for fonts. It used to be that filters for Ublock and ABP would eliminate favicons totally. I'd prefer that solution since to me they serve no purpose. But at least make them reasonable sized.

I can't access hulu from firefox - it happened last night - but can access it from chrome. I get "we encountered error in switching profiles" message. When I contacted hulu they suggested it was a problem with firefox not being updated but it is . Please help

Hi, Since few weeks ago, firefox never restores my previous tabs/session (I lost a year worth of tabs..), no matter what/how I tried, it keeps starting with a clean session, not even the history in there. I tried: Deleting profile, creating a new one Resetting Firefox Fully delete FF and delete the profile folder Heck, I even used librewolf, and even FF on linux and also Librewolf, same issue!!

I notice this happen once I enable the sync (login to my account), there's no setting in my account says to never restore the session or something similar.

How to solve it?! I need to have the tabs open again..

The nerd font in the webpage is not correctly displayed with all font settings (sans, sans-serif and mono) setted to nerd font.

I am running the latest software, Sonoma 14.3.1 on my Mac Mini and the Firefox browser 123.0.1 With the last couple of versions of Firefox , after selecting About Firefox, I received the error message "Failed to check for updates" This happened a few times. I was able to manually update to the newer versions. How can I rectify the situation. My Firefox preferences under the General Heading has check for updates selected.

I use mac and I have three profiles on Firefox to separate different accounts on the same websites, and today I renamed one of them from finder instead of just using the rename option because it was an account name that I later changed (which was a stupid move, I should've just left it as is). However when I launched that profile all of my bookmarks, history and passwords in that profile had disappeared. I checked in finder and everything in my bookmarksbackup file had disappeared. I do have sync on but my bookmarks are not synced across profiles. Is there a way to restore my bookmarks?

I get this error in my console XPCOMGlueLoad error for file /usr/lib/firefox/libmozgtk.so: libwayland-client.so.0: failed to map segment from shared object Couldn't load XPCOM.

I used to click on a bookmark to open a new window and load the link, but now it's loaded directly into the original window, how do I revert back to the previous state?

I have installed the Firefox browser (latest version) on my MacbookPro and on a MacbookAir. How can I synchronize the bookmarks? Is this possible with iCloud? Thank you!!!

I use the numerical keypad frequently and need to use "/" often, but that key shares the shortcut for "quick find" which I then have to exit and click back into whatever text box I was typing in before I can continue. The alternative is to continually move my hand back and forth to the other "/" shared with "?". Both are annoying and unnecessarily take extra time.

I would very much like to disable the keyboard shortcut attached to the "/" key on the numerical keypad.

Suddenly I cannot open my msn.com email service. I just get a blank page. I opened Chrome and the email opened promptly. Could it have become Blocked...if so, where would the list be, OR where can I check to see if that is the case. All other tabs open just fine

You may have heard about this, Youtube (and parent Google) have recently declared war on adblockers and non-Chrome browsers. I have reason to believe they have escalated that war to deliberately crash non-Chrome browsers, at least slowing them down to make them non-responsive.

In the past few days, browsing Youtube has caused my system to stop responding requiring a power cycle to clear the problem.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is this just a bad setting, or is Youtube acting as malicious as I believe them to be?

This is going to start out sounding like a Google problem, but please read the whole thing. I have a new Windows 11 Dell, and I normally run Firefox. When I wasn't able to attach a file to a gmail email I went to Google Account Help. It suggested that I delete cookies and cache, which I have now done several times. Now the problem is that I can't get to Gmail from Account Help. I have deleted everything that Firefox History will let me delete, and no matter how I try to get to it I cannot get to Gmail. It keeps me in Google Account Help.

Here's why I think I have a Firefox problem. In frustration I opened MS Edge. It let me get to Gmail, and it let me attach the file to my email. It seems to me that if I were having a Google problem, it wouldn't matter which browser I was in. As soon as it saw my email address it would put me in the same place. That's my reasoning anyway.

I don't like, or use, social media, I don't want a robot telling me what I should be interested in. I have tried on numerous occassions to stop Pocket appearing on Firefox. All have failed.

Does Mozilla not allow me to stop Pocket?
