The connection was reset

The connection to the server was reset while the page was loading.

   The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
   If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
   If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the web.

What can I do to resolve this problem.....Problem loading page

I keep getting these error messages on some websites I frequently visited in the past. I didn't change anything in Firefox. I can go to Costco's home page but in searching or clicking on an item I get this message "Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.costco.com/laptops.html" on this server. Using Windows 11 and a recent version of Firefox, if I open a command prompt window and enter: C:\Users\Admin\Documents>"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Esr\firefox.exe" --help

I get nothing.

But it works if I add "| more": C:\Users\Admin\Documents>"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Esr\firefox.exe" --help | more Usage: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox Esr\firefox.exe [ options ... ] [URL]

      where options include:

 -h or --help       Print this message.

Can anyone explain why?

Is it possible to change Firefox so that it works without "| more"?

Note that the above was on my Windows 11 laptop, but I'm sending this from my Windows 7 desktop. None of the suggested topics were appropriate, so I selected the first one "Accessibility".
