For a while now, several months anyway, many of the sites I visit work in Chrome but no longer in Firefox. The sign in or login buttons do nothing, petition submit buttons do not work, etc. I can enter information in the required fields, but I the send/submit buttons do not work.

My test page is the log in for a course I have purchased. Here's what I have tried so far:

    Turned off enhanced protection
    Paused AdBlock
    Ddisabled Privacy Badger
    Whitelisted the site on minerBlock.

Still no joy.

Anyone have any ideas? Thanks, --elizabeth

I am unable to login to a website that lets me check for a doctor's appointment. The link was sent to my gmail account. I am using Firefox with Windows 11. I am receiving the same error message whether or not I try to access it via my computer or iPhone. I have deleted the browsing history and cannot find any add-on that prevents this. I have Surfshark VPN installed on all of my devices.

I find it impossible to find anything in the Firefox bookmarks lately. This is due to the way only "recent bookmarks" show in the bookmarks pulldown, instead of my folders, like it used to. I take a lot of care to put everything into folders, so I don't have a long unsorted list. But then the only way to find my folders The only way to find my folders is to have to go into "Manage Bookmarks," which is a giant hassle. (Also, if I open the wrong bookmark, it doesn't leave the list open, so I have to go back and start over. Is there a way to leave my list open, for instance if I want to open multiple bookmarks from one folder?)

I found a help thread which said "Click on bookmarks and then click on bookmarking tools." I tried to do this (several times) ... but unfortunately I don't see the "Bookmarking Tools" option AnyWhere.

I would really appreciate help. I find this so frustrating it makes me not want to use the browser anymore, because locating the articles I need to find again is very time consuming and not straightforward.

I've been using Firefox for the various iterations of Windows for many years and it's gone smoothly. Now, when I play a YouTube or Instagram video in Windows 11, the video often becomes just an image of pixelated multicolored squares. The sound continues to play normally. On YouTube, the video continues to play. On Instagram the video tends to freeze. I've attached a screenshot from an Instagram video.

I checked my external monitor and it's definitely the laptop, which is less than a year old. This only happens with videos and other browsing works as usual. I have no issue using Chrome, so it seems to be a Firefox thing. I tried clearing the cache and history. When that didn't work, I uninstalled Firefox completely and reinstalled it. Same issue. I've attached a screenshot from an Instagram video. Thanks for any advice you can offer.

I have tried everything recommended to try and log into the ATT email website. What is weird is that the email is coming into Thunderbird just fine and I can log in using the Edge browser. I only log in to the ATT site every so often in order to mark emails as spam and occasionally to look in the spam folder for a missing email. I have deleted the cookies for this website and the history as recommended. I don't want to delete all my cookies as it is a real pain to have to log back in to all the sites I regularly use. I saw on a Microsoft site that this is a documented problem and sometimes changing one's password helps but I can't find a way to change my password. I'm no longer an ATT customer (after getting a better internet provider that ATT DSL!) but I still use that email address. I am baffled. Appreciate your help.

I've had FF for years and never had a problem. In the last week, when i read an email with a link (and other links), it says Hmm. We’re having trouble finding that site.

We can’t connect to the server at clicks.aweber.com.

If you entered the right address, you can:

   Try again later
   Check your network connection
Check that Firefox has permission to access the web (you might be connected but behind a firewall)

As far as I know, I have not changed anything in settings. I'm looking for some resolution on how to fix this. Thanks.

I have a HP laptop running windows 11. I use facebook on the web by going to facebook.com. Recently there has been a change to the way images are displayed when reading chats. The "pop up" box shows up as normal when I select chats which displays all my chats. If the chat contains an image, when I click on it it displays the image at full zoom with no scroll bars visible. This means that I cannot see the whole picture. The only change I have made to mozilla recently is to rest the print settings to default using about:support but I am not sure if this was the start of this problem. If I use microsoft edge for facebook.com or use the facebook app, all works fine.

I don't really know if this is the right section but there was this zip folder that had something to do with firefox in my temp files (appdata/local/temp) recently, like a day or two ago, it was full of mostly Json files and it disappeared when closed firefox, I was in private browsing mode at the time. I was wondering what that was? Could it be that some info from memory got dump in that file? As far as I'm aware there had been no crashes. It seems noone really knows the answer of why this happens.

Apologies if this is a dumb question its just been on my mind.

When I open a web page with a video in it, the video generally starts to look like the attached screenshot. It usually happens within 30 seconds, and then it will occasionally clear up for 10 seconds, but otherwise, it's just a shifting swirl of green.

Does not happen in other browsers.

I have been trying to log in to a newspaper website for which I have a subscription. This used to work in Firefox without a problem, but for a while now I have been encountering the problem that when I open the website the usual options "Subscribe" and "Log In" are missing. The "Log In" option is available when I open the website in Microsoft Edge. I have attached screenshots showing the missing links.

I have tried troubleshooting and opening in Safe Mode to disable any add-ons but still without success. I am hoping that there may be a simple solution and would appreciate any help.

To be honest, I never really pay attention to the Downloads history manager in Firefox, until pretty recently, out of curiousity while looking some random files that weren't there (which is another topic, but not my focus in this Support question). So, checking the Downloads history, I realized that I had a few archives (they were majorly image-type files, and they weren't many, maybe just 10-15 distributed in three months as I don't download much nowadays) that were marked down as "failed", for some reason.

But, I go to my desktop's Downloads folder and, well, no one of these files looked like they had errors or similar (I opened them up in Paint, in the Photos? app from Windows 11, and I even opened them up in Firefox and I ran the antivirus on them, just to be sure they were fine). So, I decided to download "copy" files and, although, they now appeared as complete ("fine", "good") in the Downloads history manager, when opening them and contrasting them, I didn't see any kind of difference between the original file and the new one, they even shared the same property data and they looked the same, so, everything looked fine to me.

These past few days I decided to observe the history manager a little more cautiously to see that every file I downloaded and/or saved were fine and complete (with the "X KB - download url link - time/day"), before I logged out from the session. But, early today I got slightly worried, so I opened Firefox again, and surprisingly, a few of the files I downloaded the previous session that were "complete", now were marked down as "failed" (it's a shame I couldn't screenshot them to indicate visual examples, but it really took me off guard when I digged up the history again).

Is this a bug or something?

I am a newbie when using Firefox as a browser, so this is the kind of things that intrigue me, because I also tend to open the private browser sessions and, for obvious reasons, I don't have access to the downloads list from them after I close the private window, and I imagine it would be the same situation in very normal circumstances if I used a normal browser window. So, basically, I want to know if this is a bug or something, because now you are leaving quite curious and worried that even any other of those files might have some errors or something, as well. This has NEVER happened to me with other browsers (like Chrome), if a file I saved, downloaded wrong - it downloaded wrong and I could even have a temp file in my Downloads folder - this is NOT the case.

(Btw - two things. This is an English translated version of the post I just did in Spanish for the Spanish-speaking language community, and I guess I wanted it to have a larger reach. Hopefully it is okay to do so. Also, although I indicate that my current Firefox version is the 134.0 version that got updated yesterday, January 8th, 2025, this happened before the launch of the updated version. I hope that I selected the right topic to describe this issue because I'm not sure how to describe it? It looks like a bug to me, I tried to look out for similar problems related to Downloads, but some of them do not apply to me (all my files do download, appear as downloaded in my desktop folder as well, and they do not seem to have any other issues, except for this thing in the Downloads history manager that I describe in the whole post)

EDIT: I tried to do a test, and lo and behold. I have screenshots that exemplify what I mean (more or less): these were the files I saved/downloaded before I closed the Firefox window, hence closing the session. The first is how they appeared in the Downloads panelm the second in the history manager window and the third one shows that one of the files I had to "download" again (although it's a copy from the original) because it appeared as it "failed" when I opened the Firefox window again (started a new session), and opened the Downloads history manager window.

Hi, As you can see in the attached GIF, while scrolling though my x timeline some videos play OK while others have that green fuzz on them. It also happens when looking through Instagram stories, some work fine others are the green fuzz. Other sites, such as Youtube, have been working perfectly. I have tried clearing cache and cookies but it still happens. x and Instagram are both working fine on other browsers so the issue seems to be with Firefox.

I have Windows 11 and Firefox Version 134.0 (64-bit). My laptop is Asus Vivobook S.

Any help is appreciated, thanks.
