Hello, I have a weird issue on my new PC with Windows 11. In Windows 10 it didn't happen at all. When I download any file to my desktop folder, it doesn't appear there. I need to manually right-click and refresh to see the downloaded file. It's very annoying and it happens only on Firefox, other browsers don't have this issue. Is there any way to fix it?

When uninstalling Firefox developer edition my anti virus firewall popped this message:

"Firefox Developer Edition Helper does not have a valid digital signature"

Does anyone know anything about this?

Since probably half a year (or even longer ago) my Firefox does not print anymore. It sends a 0 byte file to the print queue. No matter if I want to print a PDF or to the real printer (as also described here https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1362068 - same problem)

I have reset the printer settings in Firefox as described here: http://mzl.la/1BAQqop. Also, I started the browser in error recovery mode and then printing does not work either.

All under Windows 11 Home (22H2 / 22621.2283 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22662.1000.0) with Firefox 117.0.1 (64-bit) - but I have had the problem for some time, i.e. even with older Firefox versions.

On my 2nd computer with Windows 11 Pro (22H2 / 22621.2134 with Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22659.1000.0) and with Firefox 117.0 (64-bit) I do not have this printing problem.

I have observed one more difference between the two computers: If I click on the icon of the printer queue in the systray, the Explorer with the path "...\WINDOWS\System32" is opened on the problem computer. On the 2nd computer, the printer queue opens, which can also be opened via the Windows settings. That windows settings also works on the problem computer - but not the "click on icon in systray"-way.

I also restored the legacy print dialog (www.winhelponline.com/blog/restore-legacy-print-dialog-windows-11/). This has also not solved the problem and therefore I have built this back again to the newer print dialog.

Please can someone help?

At the moment, I always have to use the Edge browser when I want to print something from a website - which is fortunately rare, but it's annoying, especially if you want to print the invoice or order confirmation when shopping online before the session has expired.

I bought a new computer a few months ago, and almost instantly I noticed that video playback had a problem. I installed Firefox, but if I replayed a video, the audio was noticeably off from the video. The problem is resolved if I tug on the progress bar, but any playback on Youtube is affected. I do not have any extensions on this browser, and the problem does not present if I use Edge, or the sort. I can not say if playback is affected on other websites, as I do not have that much need of my computer beyond the basics. I would rather not change browsers, but I have not discovered any suggestions of related problems that relate to my computer.

I use two monitors, and I have multiple firefox windows open at once. When I turn on my pc and open firefox, the windows almost randomly position themselves on both monitors, sometimes they are not maximised either. How can I change this behavior so that all my firefox windows open, maximised, on one monitor rather than both?

Favicon is not appearing in Firefox Popup window though they are appearing in normal tabs. In Popup browser window it is showing the default Mozilla Firefox icon. I want to know if Firefox is not supporting Favicons for Popup windows or what we need to do make the Favicon appear in Firefox browser Popup window. I am using the following line of code for Favicon-

With the same line of code other browsers are showing the Favicons correctly in Popup windows It just the Firefox having the issues.

Hi Moziila, Whenever my Firefox browser updates, I lose extensions in my toolbar. They are placed in the puzzle shaped item in the toolbar. Is there a way to prevent that happening?

I have problem with google search in firefox on my PC. I get a lot of results but when I want to open it it does happens nothing. If I try to open in another window I get redirected to a site which begins with https://www.googleadservices.com/pagead/.... This means I cannot use search function. Is there anything I can do to fix this problem? Thanks Yvonne

The about:support page under Media section is showing incorrect values for available decoding capabilities. My GPU is MSI GTX 970 and it doesn't support VP9 and VP8 decoding. I verified it by analysing video engine usage. My OS is W11

i often have a Main and Private window open concurrently. All too often the Private window will close while Windows is locked - Sleep or Hibernate - but the Main window always stays open. The results range from annoying to extremely aggravating.

Other than saving the open tabs as needed = assuming I remember, to reopen every time this occurs.

Why is this occurring, and h9w can I fix it?

I had my clean restore and had most everything migrated to the update. The man downloaded the bookmarks to a Json file. How do use that to bring my bookmarks back to my screen.

Hello. Having Problems with Firefox Browser. Firefox start open only in task bar, not on full screen. When I reinstall browser, is opening for full screen but when pc going to sleep and wake up...only in task bar. Have Windows 11. Please advise how to fix it. Thx

FF says "account disconnected" but I did not disconnect it.

Ok. So reconnect and launch sync. No problem. 4 other machines have FF and syncing works great.

See tabs etc synced just as I am used to from decades of happily using FF.

But close out and restart. WIN 11 new desktop.

Come back to FF and get "account disconnected".
