I had so many instances of firefox and tabs that i decided i must organize them on tabgroups, i read they were secure enough and would be restored along with open tabs on new session. But after restarting all my "close and save" tab groups are missing! are they still saved? how can i recover them?

Not performing as it should. I have Windows 11 on PC. Open in a new tab should always show above open a new window. When I click on a link that is above the halfway point on the page I never see or have the option to open in a new tab. Open in a new window always is at the top.

If I am on a new page and the link is above the halfway point on the page I can't scroll the page down to have the link below the halfway point. If I am am on a page that I can scroll the link below the halfway point, Open in a new tab will show above open in a new window.

How can I get a new page with a link above the halfway point to have open in a new tab show? I have Firefox 146.0 (64-bit). It is up to date.

Hi, can the function mention above be remove or flag off somehow? For me watching icon is already enough. cause when hover the side of the website to navigate accidentally expand the sidebar and in some time is just expand many times probably due to a bug.

Hi, I've been using tab groups for a while and i had some pretty important tabs save there. I wanted to know if they get deleted after a while or not, Because all of mine suddenly disappeared. And also is there anyway to get them back?

Firefox version 145.0 in Linux Ubuntu 22.04.5 LTS. When I open Firefox all tabs from previous session are gone. On "Startup" I have checked "Open previous windows and tabs". Which worked before but not now. It is very frustrating. How do I fix? The Profile Manager opens the settings and "Open previous windows and tabs" is checked. Checking "ask before closing multiple tabs" doesn't help.

As stated, when I close browsers usually some random group of tabs, usually at the starting left side, will be moved to the end of tabs. I need to go in and manually select them and send them to the start or manually move them. Sometimes another group that was to the right of the starting tabs shows up in front of those moved to the end. I have 4 working windows with multiple tabs open. When all are closed, say as to reboot, the last one I was in usually is the one effected. Happens probably 7 or 8 times out of 10 closings.

When the YouTube shorts tab is open, if I want to open another tab, it immediately starts scrolling. When a shorts show starts, I click the "plus" button and it immediately scrolls down. I hope you get the idea.

Hey , I’m hoping someone here can help me figure this out. Firefox has been acting weird for the past couple days. A couple of my tabs keep reloading themselves for no reason. I didn’t change any settings, no extensions were added, and there are no error messages. I already tried clearing the cache and restarting, but it’s still happening.

Has anyone run into this before or know what might fix it? Thanks in advance . Matthew Mahgerfteh

Tabs Dan be saved individually. But tabs can be gathered and saved to a tab group. Can we save the tab group like individual tab in bookmark or else, so that the tab group can be easily restored when the Firefox is closed.

After a recent Firefox update, I've noticed a new behavior with pinned tabs. When the browser window is not maximized, scroll arrows appear next to the pinned tabs if they don't all fit. These arrows disappear when the window is maximized.

I would like to disable these tab scroll arrows and revert to the previous functionality where the pinned tabs would simply shrink to fit the available space.

Is there a setting, perhaps in about:config, to completely turn off this tab scrolling feature for pinned tabs?

It's a helpful feature I'm sure for some users to be able to drag a tab onto another tab and have it auto-create a tab group for you.

However I have been dragging tabs to reorganize their order in the window my whole life. Now, they are all of a sudden creating tab groups.

Example (one of many) I order my amaz*n shopping tabs by item price to compare.

I would like to turn this "drag to create tab group" OFF (back to the old behavior).

Note: it can be confusing: there's a new feature detailed in the blog: https://blog.mozilla.org/en/firefox/tab-groups-updates/ which is dragging a tab onto a tab GROUP. I am NOT asking about that. I'm asking about dragging one tab on top of another which are NOT YET IN A GROUP and having firefox CREATE a NEW group triggered by that action.

In about:config searching for "drag" the only things I can see are

browser.tabs.dragDrop.createGroup.delayMS 240 browser.tabs.dragDrop.expandGroup.delayMS 350 browser.tabs.dragDrop.moveOverThresholdPercent 80 browser.tabs.dragDrop.pinInteractionCue.delayMS 500 browser.tabs.dragDrop.selectTab.delayMS 350

But I can't make any sense of those.

After updating to 143, my pinned tabs are grouped together and need to be scrolled through. There's a lot of space on the right side, which is very inconvenient. I can't find a way to disable this feature or even increase the pinned area. Green is free space, red is where you can scroll.

I’m new to Firefox and found the Textfox theme on GitHub, which is pretty cool. However, I’m having trouble with the pinned tab size, they’re too small. It seems the theme’s creator fixed this by using Sidebery, but I don’t want to use that extension. Is there a way to change the pinned tab size without Sidebery?

Здавствуйте. Играю в браузерную игру в Мозила фаерфокс и все еще наблюдаю проблему самовольной перезагрузки вкладок. Я уже писал и описывал эту проблему но вы так ничего и не исправили. И вот сейчас я обновил Фаерфокс и снова эта проблема. Поблема вот в чем: Я играю в игру в полноэкранном режиме где идут или выполняются активные игровые действия, так же я делаю активные действия мышью. И вдруг браузер САМ выводит меня из полноэкранного режима, начинает обновлять вкладку с игрой. Из за этого весь игровой процесс прерывается и мне снова загружает игру! Честно сказать это уже надоело. Не возможно играть нормально, в любую минуту браузер начинает сам обновлять вкладки. Пишу вам второй раз, исправьте это.
