It seems Firefox is only allowing support for activeinbox up to 6.0.34. Activeinbox are aware of issues with this and have allegedly issued version 6.0.38 into the blackhole that is Firefox and are claiming that they're waiting for you to approve it. https://twitter.com/rivergateuk/status/809020714028269569 I've been pestering in them for weeks about this issue but they keep blaming Firefox for not authorising the update. You guys need your heads knocked together to get this sorted!!!

I can't seem to find an ad blocker that works with Firefox, I simply want to stop seeing ads, but can't seem to shut them down, particularly from Google and Taboola, but frankly I don't care who they are I don't want to see random ads. I sure would appreciate a solution.

I am able to search for articles but when I click the "view PDF" button, firefox attempts to save the article to my downloads where as in the past I simply view them. Also the downloads are blank. So not only can I not voiew them but the download is useless. Please help

Since Firefox 47 I have been running into an issue where Firefox will go "Not Responding" for 10 to 30 seconds. During the hang CPU usage will spike to 12% and ram usage will double, once over everything returns to normal. Once the hang happens it will not happen again until Firefox is exited and started again. The hang also seems to occur around the time a page or page component loads, for example expanding an imgur image.

I have tried switching to 64 bit Firefox, refreshing Firefox, safe mode, enabling one addon at a time, enabling e10s, and even freshly installing Windows 10. Nothing I have done so far as seem to make it stop.

The issue is happening on multiple computers running either Windows 10 or Windows 7. The fonts look atrocious in Firefox on virtually every web page (including https://support.mozilla.org). This is not only limited to version 50.1.0 but several prior iterations over the past year to 18 months. Text looks like it has been printed by an old typewriter with fading ink. To be certain it was a Firefox issue, I checked numerous pages in both Firefox and IE 11. IE 11 renders the text beautifully while Firefox, no so much. I've included a sample in PDF format, and would like to get some recommendations on how to resolve this.

Going back maybe 60-90 days - so this would be starting with FF 47 or 48, guessing, my browser at work crashes almost daily. My browsing habits or computer hardware or software have not changed.

I've not used safe mode. My extensions are up to date. This is for Windows 7, and both it and the browser are automatically updated as soon as the updates are pushed to me.

bp-abbe6fec-9f2f-48c3-ae9b-2772c2161221 is the latest of lots of crashes.

Not every crash results in a submitted report. But for comparison sake, I have:

- 5 submitted crash reports in 2014 - 18 in 2015 - 34 this year

Of the reported crashes this year, 11 have been since 10/24. This was preceeded by a 15-week period with zero reported crashes.

I hope someone can troubleshoot this, because I have not knowingly changed anything of substance, other than updating Windows and FF.

I need to schedule a taxi appointment.

I am multiply disabled, and don't have accessible public transportation, and can't use phones, and can't use browsers without strobe-blocking fixes. All the local taxi companies, and most American taxi companies, use the same registration software on their websites. I can't get through this software in either Firefox or Safari, even after enabling pop-ups, enabling all cookies, and emptying the cache. I can't use safe mode because it isn't safe.

Any idea how to schedule taxis?

I went searching on Google the other day for free e-books, but I stupidly forgot to turn on NoScript. I clicked on what was, in retrospect, a very questionable Google link for a PDF file.

Just to be safe, I did a full-system scan and boot-time scan with Avast, as well as a full-system scan with Comodo, but nothing malicious turned up. However, I know that these anti-malware programs are not foolproof, and malware is becoming ever more able to evade them. That said, I have not found any specific evidence that would suggest my computer is infected with malware.

So my question is, does Firefox or Firefox PDF Viewer sandbox PDF files in anyway, so that a PDF opened in the Firefox browser could be contained and/or prevented from executing any malicious scripts? I tried to look this up, but I cannot quite understand many things I have read because they are written in very technical language that I am not familiar with.

Thank you very much for any help you can provide; it is greatly appreciated!

I have a password manager called Keepass2, I've used this under Windows for more than four years. Unfortunately it’s not working correctly for me in Linux Mint. I have a Linux version of the program installed.

When trying to paste a login into a website - either by dragging & dropping it, (as I can do in the Windows version every time) or copying & pasting – all the logins are in English, but in Mint, 25% of the time they get transposed into Chinese characters in the login field (sometimes the password too, I know that if the login's correct, but it fails to be authenticated).

I have Mint Cinnamon 18.1, using Firefox 50.1.0 My locale, language, region is set to EN-GB, although I’m in Thailand (but definitely not China!) It was suggested checking Firefox - the Text Encoding to ensure sure Auto-Detect was off, which it was anyway. The only languages installed in Firefox are “en-gb” and “en”, in that order

The Mint forum have made various other suggestions, including installing a different browser. I went for a Linux browser Qupzilla.

The results: Qupzilla - twenty times I dragged & dropped into the Gmail login. Worked every time. Then without closing that browser, I did the same with my existing Firefox v50.1.0. That failed on the fourth attempt with drag & drop, pasted Chinese characters again. Second try: Qupzilla twenty times OK, Firefox failed on attempt number six.

Then I when I had Chinese characters pasted into Firefox from KeePass, I dragged them from Firefox into Libre Office Writer. The result was still Chinese. The thing that made me smile is that I can even tell you font LO selected: "WenQuanYi Micro Hei" Ha ha!

Have you come across this issue before? Any ideas?

I'm getting a lot of crashes using Firefox 50.1.0 (latest version as of this post) on my MacBook Pro. It's been happening every since I got it about a month ago. It seems to happen after the machine has been asleep for a while. I cannot reproduce it at will by putting the machine to sleep then immediately waking it up. It's possible it would work and it's just intermittent. Anyway, it happens several times a day, even when I'm running in safe mode.
