Since the second week of December 2022, videos from my YT channel have not been uploaded to my WordPress site. I would like this functionality to come back.

When I click on firefox (once) to open it (internet connection good), nothing happens for ages then it comes up with the attached error message. I have to reload and sometimes it opens two or three windows and freezes. I have cleared caches, streamlined my laptop and checked for malicious software - no result. Please help thanks

When I try to scroll, by rolling or clicking the mouse, there is a 2-second delay before scrolling starts. I am also getting a very awkward keyboard delay (for many but not every keystroke). Scrolling and keyboard use are normal in other programs.

I have tried with hardware acceleration both on and off. I have over 8gb of free memory, CPU at a low percentage used, and a low commit level.

I am a long-time FireFox user. I have been using my installed extensions for years, and have no newly installed programs on the computer.

When I open the Firefox Browser about half the time I see a huge Google G and below is a huge Search symbol and not my home page. I close it and open it again and most of the time it opens to my home page correctly. At other times the huge G is there and I have to close and reopen multiple times.

I use Firefox (78.15.0esr) to access Ancestry.com. I use a MacBookPro 15in (late 2013) fully rammed etc. Also tried the same procedure on another MacBookPro 13in (late 2015) with same result. Also updated Java to ensure latest version.

What I have done: I approached Ancestry and was sent several generic FAQ URL's (https://support.ancestry.com/s/article/Fixing-Page-or-Button-Problems-on-Ancestry?language=en_US) suggesting clear cache etc. • Have tried all of their 'suggestions' (and on a second computer) with no benefit. Any ideas on what I could do to rectify the issues? • The people assisting don't appear to understand HTML.

I am seeing between 1% and 5% of my requests to send web push notifications to `updates.push.services.mozilla.com` start to timeout after 10 seconds.

The issue started to occur right at 4pm Pacific Time (UTC 0 hour) which makes me think it might have been a certificate change or an update to the service.

Has anything changed to the push framework recently? Any thoughts on why this could be happening?

Nothing changed on my side AFAICT for months.

After Firefox’s latest update (109.0 - 64-bit) I am experiencing several bugs.

I’ve narrowed it down to two things:

• Context and dropdown menus do not appear, yet they are present (if I click where they would be the intended behavior happens). This happens for both the menu bar and the toolbar, as well as when doing right click in any website.

• I cannot move tabs along the tab bar.

No extension is causing this since I have disabled all of them.

Is some else experiencing these or similar issues?

If these are not common problems, does anyone know what could be causing them and how to solve them?

About a month ago Firefox had disabled all of my add-ons, as well as broken all of the icons for my bookmarks. I later learned that this problem had also completely cleared my browser history. I saw that the computer had reset my places.sqlite file, and that I had a new "places.sqlite.corrupt" file. I tried renaming that corrupted file to get back my old history, as well as refreshing Firefox, but neither of these strategies seemed to have worked. Does anyone have a way of restoring my data from my old places.sqlite file? Thanks!

I already have Firefox version 102.7esr (whatever that means), but one of my online accounts required an upgrade in order to access it. So I installed version 109 last night. It was working fine, I thought, but it won't open this morning. My version 102 is working. Wouldn't 109 automatically replace the older version? Are they competing? How do I get 109 to work again and replace 102?

When I download a pdf file while using Firefox, the file won't open. They will open if I download them using a different browser. I've scanned for viruses, malware, etc. and nothing is found. I turned off "block popups"

How can I fix this?

Hello everyone, I was here recently since nothing in Firefox wanted to load, but I fixed that by using old sessionstore.jsonlz4 so I guess that session was corrupted.

New problem: Everyday when I start my PC and Firefox it keeps crashing over and over until I use an old working sessionstore file again. So it seems that everytime Firefox tries to save my current session with nothing changed/ different from the backup it corrupts it and I have to use the old backup again - which obviously sucks since no matter what I open/ do today it will be "deleted" again tomorrow.

The only "interesting" thing the crash report shows is MozCrashReason: Failed to load critical module "resource://gre/modules/WebNavigation.jsm" but I will share the troubleshooting information below if that helps.

My only idea left is to save the most important tabs and wipe everything else off my Firefox to see if that helps - but if it doesnt then I have to restore my old session yet again and all progress is lost again no matter what I do.

Any ideas are appreciated especially since I didnt change anything relevant about my system or Firefox in recent times so I have no Idea where all of these problems come from all of a sudden.

I am running the latest Firefox on Mac OS Ventura and too often webpage loading slows to an agonising crawl. I can’t figure out what’s causing it. The system is not overloaded and the Firefox task manage also mostly shows idle tasks. I have no clue how to debug this issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

The WidevineCDM plugin crashes on all streaming services that use it.

I've tried disabling/enabling the plugin, uninstalling my extensions, clearing my cache, refreshing and reinstalling firefox as suggested by other threads I've seen. So far nothing has worked.

I have found out finally how to get logs of my problem and dont know where to go from here. its really been a pain for a long time. not being able to install new extensions always saying corrupt ended up being able to install them from the user / appdata / roaming / mozilla etc etc / extensions but now thats stopped working .. anyway here are the logs looks like its hanging from not being able to remove the file from staging. any help would be greatly appreciated

One: When I add a login in Firefox such as: https://www.canada.ca/en/employment-social-development/services/my-account/access.html#a4-2 (which is where I need to get my tax information)

It only saves: https://www.canada.ca (which is useless)

Two: When I add a login in Firefox such as: 192.168.0.1 (which is the address of my router)

I saves all the information but will not offer the actual password, only the login user.

Safari handles all this wonderfully but Firefox is terrible. I only use Firefox so I can use Ublock Original to get rid of the damn adverts from everywhere...

Is there something I'm doing wrong other than following the Firefox prompts to save a password?

I run dual monitors with multi-tab Firefox on both--different sets of tabs. How can I--or can I--set my Home Page to all the tabs open on both monitors and have clicking the Home button put me back to those two sets of tabs? I can set Home on one monitor or the other, but there seems to only be one 'Home' slot and it evidently is whichever was more recently set using "set home to current open tabs" (I think that's close to the wording)

I have been fighting with Xfinity.com for too long now over a "rendering error occurred: invalid time value" message when I log in to their billing function for my account. I am using a Windows 7 PC with whatever Firefox version is the most current.

Among the responses from their "experts," I see something that has to do with "browser add-ons may be causing your problem."

I have looked at my Firefox settings > manage your extensions as well as settings > manage your plug-ins. Under Extensions enabled I have 2: Norton Safe Search and Norton Safe Web. Under Plug-Ins enabled I have OpenH264 Video Codec and Widevine Content Decryption Module. That's all. Could any of these be causing the problem?

Does this "rendering" error have anything to do with Javascript? (I thought Firefox did not support Java so never paid any attention). If it does relate to Javascript, how do I fix my Firefox browser settings to enable it for the Xfinity.com website to see if that fixes anything?

This is so incredibly discouraging.
