Hello! I'm having an issue specifically in Firefox Developer Edition only. Whenever I set a video to go fullscreen from any domain/service, little strips on the top of left of the fullscreen video show my desktop (shown in attached screenshot). I've tested this in regular Firefox as well as Google Chrome and fullscreen videos work just fine on both of those browsers.

Before this current version update, this problem would happen the first time putting a video in fullscreen, but every subsequent attempt during the same browser session would not have the issue. However, I'm now unable to achieve a true fullscreen video in Firefox Developer Edition no matter how many times I try.

Currently on version 145.0b3 (64-bit)

Im using a lot of web notifications. Where can I find a list for advanced preferences options I can use on web alerts under config://about?

I am having a problem with Firefox where: - if I am searching in the address bar in one tab (tab A), - but then before that finishes loading, I switch to a different tab (tab B), - Firefox will switch me back to tab A once tab A finishes loading. It's not immediate and is a little aggravating as it pushes me out of what I was already doing.

I'm currently on Firefox Beta (145.0) on Windows 11. I've tried the "When you open a link, image or media in a new tab, switch to it immediately" setting.

This is only an issue in the firefox browser - chrome, safari and edge are fine but the drop down text in firefox on some form drop downs is a weird unintelligible font

I'm using the AI chatbot in Firefox Developer Edition's sidebar and I was wondering if it's possible to set the web page from the active tab as the context by default for all future chats.

Im Firefox Developer habe ich seit ca. einer Woche das Problem, das die Lesezeichen nicht mhr funktionieren. Kann weder etwas anzeigen lassen, hinzufügen noch importieren.

Das zweite Problem habe ich heute 07.11.2025 festgestellt, habe einen neuen Tap geöffnet und es werde auf einmal die gespeicherten Webseiten nicht mehr angezeigt.

Was kann ich tun? Developer habe ich gelöscht und wider installiert, auch resettet, doch es geht nicht. Auf der zweiten Firefox Brwoser habe ich zwar die Lesezeichen, doch kann keine Webseite mehr hinzufügen. Auch bei öffnen eines neuen Taps, sind die gespeicherten Webseiten verschwunden.

I am on Windows 10 Pro (extended to Oct 2026) and use the Firefox profile manager at startup since I have more than one profile. Today (11/12/2025) I attempted to start Firefox and the profile manager window would not populate. the window was blindingly white on my dark background. I closed and restarted umpteen times but it refused relentlessly. I was about to uninstall firefox and then decided to see if I had actually installed it on any of my mobile devices. And indeed I had it on my ancient Apple iPhone 7+. And it was synced! I refreshed the sync and indeed it picked up my most recent activity from last night. All tabs were synced. To make sure I had another synced copy I also installed it on my iPad. I synchronized this too and suddenly my desktop browser started working again.

I don't know what caused the lockup of the Profile Manager but I am afraid it might happen again. What causes this and what can I do to regain control without having to reinstall? I am a researcher and I have over 1000 tabs open.

Hi, I am using Firefox Developer Edition though I have had this problem with Firefox in the past. The problem is that sometimes the audio from Firefox just stops working, everything else in Windows works but not firefox, I tried having the same youtube video on Firefox and Chrome annd it worked on Chrome. There are times that a Windows restart fixes it and there are times that I just have to wait a couple of days till it fixes itself. The only thing I could find to trigger this behavior is to have mi Bluetooth earphones connected, then disconnect them and sometimes when reconnecting them the audio is just gone. This usually happens when I am working, when I start the day I put them on and start some music on Youtube, after 3-4 hours I do a 15 minutes break and during that time I charge the earphones, when I come back and turn them on again, most of the times the audio is gone. Is this a known issue or something? I can send anything if you want. Thank you

On my Facebook feed/timeline images don't show when I use Firefox and they are visible when I use Microsoft edge browser. I googled and I found this explanation: The most common reason for photos not showing in your Facebook feed is that an add-on or extension you have installed in your web browser (often Firefox) is blocking the photos being loaded from Facebook.

Although set to open previous pages and tabs it doesn't do so, furthermore I must sign in to all e-mail accounts, google, Facebook etc every time I open my Firefox Developer Edition

I'm using Firefox Developer Edition 143.0b5 (64-bit), running on macOS Big Sur (11.7.10). My bookmarks for Facebook, Instagram, and Threads won't load on the first click. Most of the time I am presented with a blank white page. Sometimes I might get part of the page to show. I have to click on the bookmark a second time and then the page loads completely. This behavior doesn't happen with any other bookmarks I have.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Never really bothered asking. But now i think it's time. Why is it, that Firefox, never, ever, remembers it window size or position?

1. I use Firefox exclusively in fullscreen. Every time, after i've started my pc and launched Firefox, it never starts fullscreen.

2. I use Firefox in windowed mode, i resize and place it where i want it to be. Every time, after i've started my pc and launched Firefox, it never remembers it's size nor position on the desktop.

I do not understand why that's a thing.

After a recent Firefox update, I've noticed a new behavior with pinned tabs. When the browser window is not maximized, scroll arrows appear next to the pinned tabs if they don't all fit. These arrows disappear when the window is maximized.

I would like to disable these tab scroll arrows and revert to the previous functionality where the pinned tabs would simply shrink to fit the available space.

Is there a setting, perhaps in about:config, to completely turn off this tab scrolling feature for pinned tabs?

Steps to reproduce:

1. Have Google as the default search engine.

2. Type a search string into the address bar.

3. The address bar briefly shows a URL for the Google Search results.

4. The address bar is very quickly overwritten with the original search string.

How do I stop step #4 happening? I want the URL to remain in the address bar, for example to be able to give somebody a link which executes the google search.

I think this is new in FF121.

AdBlock has not made any updates for Firefox for eleven months. Do they just not care, or has Mozilla rejected them? The internet is terrible enough as it loves to scam all users on all sites.
