I was trying to install a lot of Firefox themes from Firefox Add-ons and when I checked the themes that I had installed, it didn't show all of them.

Is there a limit number themes that could be installed for Firefox?

When watching youtube or even doing a little task with only one tab the cpu usage from a specific firefox process goes upto 90%. And I have did everything that was given in the following troubleshoot method "https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/firefox-uses-too-much-memory-or-cpu-resources" but still the same result. I tried with troubleshoot mode on with disabling all extensions but the cpu usage was still high. I have also checked with firefox's own task manager tool but there wasn't a single process that was using full cpu. I'll be attaching all screenshots below.

I'm having problems streaming live video on srf.ch (Swiss public television). The whole tab becomes unusable after streaming for a few minutes. Playback just stops and it's impossible to reload or navigate to a different address using the same tab.

This happens with a clean profile using two different computers with very different hardware. I'm able to reproduce it using Firefox 111 and 112, but not with Firefox 110. It doesn't happen in Chrome.

Unfortunately, I couldn't report it as a web compatibility bug. The person reviewing the issue wasn't able to access the streams due to geoblocking (VPN doesn't help). They asked me to provide additional information such as console logs. But even the console stops working when the problem occurs and there are no error messages before that.

Is there anything else I could try to help diagnosing this issue or is it a lost case?

I've been noticing for a while that Youtube chapters were very hard to read if they were displaying over a white background. I thought this was just a Youtube issue but then I decided to boot up Edge and Brave to see if the issue still persisted. It doesn't. What happens in those browsers is that there is that the bottom part of the video is darkened just enough so that when the chapters are displayed there is enough contrast to read them. In Firefox this overlay cuts out before it reaches the chapters making them very difficult to read. I tried in Troubleshoot Mode and the issue persists.

Hey team! After my organization restricted GitHub access to a specific IP ranges (from inside company VPN) I cannot access GitHub Organization repositories through Firefox Developer Edition, though VPN works and I am signed in. I can see the following error: `Access forbidden from this IP address` together with incorrect IP address displayed.

Also worth mentioning that through Google Chrome I can access my company GitHub pages perfectly.

The second message happens sporadically when I click on Notifications. I can't do anything but quit FireFox and try again sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and I have to wait a while, sometimes as long as a day to get it working again. The first message occurs when clicking on a link. After which I get the second message.

This is extremely frustrating because of the randomness I think it is a FaceBook issue but have gotten no response from them. I'm trying to cover all the bases by asking the FireFox community if anyone has run into this and if there is a solution.

I had Firefox account, which is used to community translation contribution (not bookmark, password or other data) and last month I lost my 2FA app and now without 2FA for this account, so try to use 'backup authentication code' method. - Used 'backup authentication code', which I had 8 of 10 letters/digits code generated (on 16 May 2019 and only email), it is not working - I am able to change the password, but still asking 6 digit code, which I don't have - I have secondary email, but can't be used to login as per documentation.

I have two questions - Why 'backup authentication code' is not working? how to verify if backup method is working or not when it needed? - Can I request to delete my account to create again as I have secondary email as I can verify identity and ownership of that account with secondary email?

Hello, I wanted to report this problem. So, this problem occurs all the time. If I leave the browser for like 5 mins, firefox couldn't load a new page/change to another webpage. I'd have to wait for firefox to fail load (until a error page come up or until the loading icon dissappear) then i could load a new page. It's kinda annoying tho.

I'd be glad to see a response.

Every time I install Firefox on a computer and log in to sync, the pinned shortcuts sync happens the wrong way. So the new installation gets a collection of relatively random shortcuts for websites I visit, plus a few of the default ones (with the search option/magnifying glass feature integrated) for sites I don't really visit, then this is synced on all other computers. I have to go manually on one of the others and redo the pinned shortcuts, then this syncs everywhere.

I've had the issue for years. I work from multiple computers so the sync feature is invaluable but also extremely annoying that I have to redo a couple of dozens pinned shortcuts every time I install and sync a new Firefox. The rest of the sync works fine (bookmarks, etc.).

Am I doing something wrong or is Firefox unable to properly sync pinned shortcuts? I imagine I can migrate the profiles over all the time but the benefit of the sync feature is that it's seamless so I'd rather use that if possible.

Hello, While I do in fact the like the amount of customization that's available while using the firefox browser, there are certain aspects of viewing certain webpages that I'd like to improve upon. Certain different chromium based modern windows browsers have different experimental flag settings that let you choose different background settings instead of all or none like firefox seems to do. I'm enclosing a couple screenshot's of what I'm referring to when I'm using the microsoft edge chromium based browser for your reference. Currently I'm using the following add-on to at least temporarily help me with my current issue: https://github.com/m-khvoinitsky/dark-background-light-text-extension. In the attached image while using firefox while viewing the msnbc webpage, currently the displayed colors are totally out of balance. I use Firefox on 3 devices: - a PC at home (Win 10, FF standard instalation), - an Android phone (Xiaomi Mi 9T) - a PC at work (Win7) with the Firefox portable version.

I have the latest, stable, up-to-date versions of Firefox on all my devices.

The problem is when I save a bookmark on one of the computers at work or at home, and then the devices synchronize. Bookmarks between computers do not remember their position in the bookmark folders and are saved in the main folder.

Firefox Developer Edition downloaded 89.0b1 tonight. When you choose Submit Feedback in the help/about form it goes nowhere. Actually to a "coming soon" page for ideas.mozilla.com. Is that so you won't have to field complaints about the "improvements" in this version? Because I have several complaints.

From last night, when I open Firefox, a blank white screen keeps appearing. Other browsers work fine but whenever I open Firefox this happens. I'm currently running Firefox on safe mode. Any solution other than uninstalling Firefox? The screen is fully white, no close button, nothing. Just plain white.

Hello, I would like to use the search function in the tab again. How can I adjust this? At the moment it is so that when you enter it it appears right above in the link line (see picture). I would like it to be in the search below, directly in the tab. Before version 88 this was possible. Why was it removed?

Considering you update nearly every day, the dumbest thing you've done is change the "view photo" in the right mouse button to "open photo in a new tab". Why did you do this dumb thing. We all look at photos, and you made it inconvenient. Dumb Firefox code writers....

I am using an offline web page as my default firefox home page and all was going well until I enabled sync. Now when I boot up firefox two things happen. It changes the address for my home page file to a folder NOT on this computer (the desk top) and won't retain the address I need for that folder.

I have just tried editing the bookmark for page. At the moment it seems to be working but I think sync is causing this issue and wonder if there is a fix for it?
