Hi Mozilla team!

IRecently started using firefox/mozilla exclusively on my mobile phone and HP laptop.

I have an AT&T yahoo email account which I have had for 20 years.

No problem on my mobile, but my email history wont re-sync on my HP laptop at this time, but does display as historically synced, BUT ONLY TO May 4, 2024 (for an unknown reason.)

I currently get to AT&T yahoo email account using:

• https://mail.yahoo.com/n/inbox/priority?.src=ym&reason=myc&accountIds=2
• Mozilla or Firefox Username: [edited] @snet.net,_
• Mozilla or Firefox Display name: [edited]
• Mozilla or Filefox Password: [edited]

Can you please help me with why the email account won't e-ync on the HP Laptopeven though I am logged in? There is no such problem with gmail.

After a recent Firefox updated 11/17/2025 I went to try and use Firefox as my default browser I realized that all my bookmarks that I saved for I can't remember how long a very long time (years) I lost it all and I don't have any backups bcuz I never had to make any and now after a new update I have zero bookmarks left I am very disappointed and angry at the same time bcuz if I put so much efforts on doing something I expect to know that what I did won't just get completely erased so I just wanna get that point across Firefox was my favorite web browser now I'm not so sure anymore anyway my email address is as follows [edited email from public community support forum]

This is the first time I have reset my PC after switching to FireFox.

As far as i was aware, I had an account that allowed syncing.

Anyhow, I've logged into what I had thought was my account, yet it is empty.

Is it possible to have multiple accounts from the same email address?

If i provide my email address, can someone check to see what the issue is?

I'm 99.999% sure I have the correct email address.

I installed last update and all my current tabs are gone!!! Ancient ones turned up! How do I get back my tabs. Need for a book I'm working on.

Plus my history now has my individual gmail emails in it? That I do not want.

Lastly it's synced with my phone tabs, which I don't want either. This is an unwanted, new addition.

Please advise. If I go to prior version, will it fix above issues? Very upset.

I am running windows 11 and every time I go to backup my C: drive my system tells me that "I dont have a Disc to back up fo" ? I am retired now so I dont use a computer as much as I use to. I got this system new 6 months ago. It came with Win 10 on it. I have not explored this system fully yet. All this time I did not know it was not backing up automatically. I do remember on earlier versions of windows they had a function that allow you to see the contents of each drive . It also showed each of the partitions on your drives and showed how much was allicated to Windows , recovery, free space. and so on.... I cant seem to find that function on this system. ??? Can you please try to help me with my problems?

It seems the only option to sync info between the Mac and iPhone is everything.

My Mac has Thousands!!! of bookmarks. And a long History.

I want less than a fraction of that info on my iPhone.

How can I be super-selective in what is synced?

My husband and I both use Firefox as our default browser. His macbook air did an auto update of his firefox and now he has no bookmarks, no search history and none of his many open windows are there. He has to file his timesheets tonight so we can get paid in a month's time. What help can you offer? Have an old list of bookmarks that was imported from an old pc running widows vista to a new HP machine that shows as a firefox document on the desktop, List is outdated and needs to be edited with deletion of some of the old listings but can't figure out how to do that ???? I have a new computer that I want to sync my bookmarks to. I don't remember my password or recovery key (if I have one). I don't want to lose my bookmarks. How can I save them if my account gets reset and they are deleted?

Today I installed a clean WIN10 version on my PC, expecting to just log into firefox afterwards and have all the data back within minutes, but I forgot my Firefox password... As I'm currently in another country I also couldn't just log in on any of my other devices to recover the password, so I decided to reset it via the E-Mail... well aparantly changing your password deletes the sync data?? I'm guessing there is no way to recover the data? So I got a relative of mine to start my backup notebook which has not been synched for a few months but some data should've still been there, at least I had thought so... password database there was empty... and instead of synching the firefox landing page from my notebook where all my pinned pages were, it copied the page from the new device and wiped that as well... Any way to revert the sync changes on the notebook?

Hi, I've had a Firefox account for a long time. I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled Windows. I signed in to my Firefox account, but it won’t let me import my bookmarks. Can you please help me? Thanks, Sam

I have been a firefox user for 5 years now and i gave my laptop to repair and it was fixed with an ssd (HP NVMe SSD) to better performance and more speed and efficiency but in the process he rebooted and restarted the pc and now all my data is not there , i have some very important webpages and bookmarks in my firefox browser, i had signed in synced and done everything so that i get the data if something like this happens , however and only 3 or 4 bookmarks were imported and all the search history is gone and new even though i signed in with all my accounts and synced and tried to get the data , i remember that i did everything properly to sync and store the account data,search history,bookmarks and password s and now i am not able to get it and i tried doing it with all accounts i had logged in firefox.how do i get my search history,bookmarks,saved passwords back please tell?

I sync between both my phone and my pc, my phone is constantly up to date on my tab syncing however my pc is constantly lagging behind by a couple of weeks.

Steps taken: exited and reopened firefox clicked Sync Now button on the pc in both the sidebar and in the sync settings logged out of and back into my firefox account on my pc

I had to factory reset my computer and when i re-downloaded Firefox and logged in my bookmarks where no where to be found. I've look through some the the fixes and they don't seem to work is there anyway to recover my bookmarks?

When Firefox (130.0) presents the message: "Still not able to restore your session? Sometimes a tab is causing the issue." when Firefox starts, Firefox should help the user by identifying the tab(s) that caused the Restore Session to fail.
