I-Firefox Isithangami Sokwesekwa

I wish to save my bookmarks in alphabetical order, first the folders and then any bookmarks that have not yet been allocated to a specific folder. This used to be possible as I gave reorganised the older bookmark folders are in alphabeical order previously. This seems to be no longer posible. I can reorganise them in View but cannot save them. I am unable to login to the DVLC. I get as far as the enter reg number of a car to check it,s been taxed. Then after I input the reg number the next page tell me it is an insecure page. This also happens on my laptop. On both desktop and laptop I am using firefox with duck duck go as an add on. However. In using my mobile with the stand alone duck duck go browser, I can log in and complete the task. This points to a problem with Firefox. Any advice's. This seems to be recent as I have used the laptop and desktop to use the check for a taxed car system ok in the past.

I was trying to troubleshoot a black screen of death issue with Windows10 that first started appearing after Firefox adopted the new Private Browsing icon. In the process of doing so, I tried every combination of Firefox settings imaginable. Nothing worked as far as Asus, Windows, or Firefox settings, rolling back/ updating various drivers, etc. So, I decided to refresh Firefox and when that did not work, I decided to uninstall and reinstall Firefox. I'm not sure if that worked as far as the original black screen of death issue is concerned because now Firefox no longer remembers my cookies and site data allowed exceptions (my only exceptions were my bank websites, which worked as expected until the uninstall/reinstall). I've tried selecting always use private browsing and always delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed (my previous settings), but every time I close Firefox and return those three exceptions are missing. Any ideas would be most welcome. BTW, does anyone know how to use that folder Firefox puts on the home screen labeled "Old Firefox Data" because I was expecting there to be a .exe file to click on to reload all the previous settings in one fell swoop.

Hello, Ive recently switched my primary browser from opera GX, to Mozilla Firefox. Since then I've adjusted the settings to my liking, one of which was the search engine. I chose google chrome, and it works when I open a new tab, However, When I open a new window of firefox, it always opens Bing. This is a small problem, yes, but its simple issues like this that dissuade me from wanting to use firefox at all, I would like to solve this issue, but Ive searched for answers, and there aren't any. If you help me fix this, I will keep firefox. Otherwise, I'll chose a browser that gives me the amount of control that I want. I've also attached a photo of the startup screen of firefox.

I want certain extensions to be able to run in private windows, but not in normal windows. For example, I would browse normally without a VPN extension, and when I open a private window, the VPN extension would be enabled.

Hello, in my "Themes" section in the add-ons manager, I can view all the themes I have downloaded, and there are default ones I did not choose to install/download, and I would really like to disable these recommendations; for these, it only gives me the option "manage" whereas the ones I downloaded I also have the option choose to remove or report. They are not relevant to me, and they take up space and are a distraction from those I am interested in. Is there a way to disable these "Recommended Themes" section???

When I try to open a new tab, the dot continues to move back and forth but does not load the tab. Sometimes I have gotten the message: "A web page is slowing down your browser. To stop it close the page."

I have tried fixes suggested on the web, but no help, including clearing the cache.

response to jonzn4SUSE, because on my desk top, it won't install, because my computer chip is too old, when I get to the point of clicking on finish, when clicking on finish, it disappears, supposedly this chip is a better chip than the one I need to install it, but it's older than the one which is the minimum needed to do the install, even took it to the repair shop, I had read that sometimes if an older version of waterfox is on a computer it won't install, by the time I got it back from the shop everything with waterfox was gone, including bookmarks etc., none it was saved, some of the things I could import from my other browsers, one thing I don't like about waterfox is there isn't any way to export those things to other browsers, even when going to firefox or any other browsers, when clicking on import from other browsers, waterfox isn't on the list, also on my laptop, has an intel chip, maybe older than the one on desk top, when 1st installed it, it worked, the next time I tried to use it it wouldn't open, don't use lap top very often, usually only when desk top is in the shop on desk top, even tried to install it in safe mode, after I got it back from the repair shop, is when I found out about the chip being too old Operating System       Windows 10 Pro 64-bit CPU       AMD Phenom II X4 955          Deneb 45nm Technology RAM       16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 803MHz (11-11-11-28) Motherboard       Gigabyte Technology Co. In upper right corner of the menu bar, I have what appears is a shield with a helmet (with red banner). This is followed by ever changing symbols, letters, and numbers . When I mouse over it or manually point it disappears. Removal of the pointer brings it back. This shows up on Firefox and Edge browsers. Does anyone know what this is?

PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR how do I get rid of this error that keeps popping up when I attempt to launch Amazon.com I have never had this happen before..... it just started about a week ago.

Firefox often display messages at the lower right corners - only from selected sites.

It drives my crazy - because I have to click on each and ervy one.

How can I select the sites which are displayed or can I shut them off all together ?!?

Please advise !
