Jag har en iMac och jag har en Airbook. Båda har Firefox, på samma konto dvs sitter samman. Ändå skiljer vissa saker. Detta är en fråga om språket. Ett litet problem är att på airbook'en förstår inte firefox att jag vill skriva på svenska. Tex i denna ruta där frågan ställs markerar den vartenda ord och tycker det är dålig engelska dvs stryker under med rött.

Jag har jämfört inställningarna de bägge datorerna emellan. Har Firefox addon (tillägg) för Svenska. En märklig sak är att det verkar omöjligt att ta bort engelska språkpaketet om det finns där (den dator där det funkar saknar engelska tillägget som extra alternativ). Om jag klickar på något av de markerade orden här och kollar "språk" så anges att det är engelska - varför har inte svenska språkpaketet gått in, fast det står som installerat om man ser via tilläggens inställningar (där endast valet "ta bort", dvs är tillagt).

Detta dyker endast upp via Firefox, ej Chrome, alltså inte djupare i datorns inställningar om dess språk utan förefaller vara direkt en bugg eller felinställning i just Firefox. Men VAR? Varför får datorn för sig att jag försöker skriva på engelska, när svenska är installerat och inställt för.

Hi, My operating system is Windows 11 and I have Mozilla version 138.0.1 (64-bit version) installed. I have a Mozilla account with you. I have the settings / privacy and security set so that Mozilla does not delete my cookies when I close the browser and also so that it does not delete my browsing history and site settings. The whole problem is that when I turn off my computer or simply restart it, after turning it on again, the Mozilla browser acts as if I installed it for the first time. I lose all cookies and browsing history and it logs me out of my Mozilla account, logs me out of my Google account, etc. I have been struggling with this for two days how to set it up, but I cannot get it to a state where I do not have to log in to my Mozilla account when I turn on the computer again and the cookies and browsing history are not deleted. I do not know if the Windows 11 system or the Mozilla browser deletes cookies when restarting my PC. Please let me know how to fix this problem. I also solved this problem with my IT programmer, but he couldn't set it up correctly either and together we came to the conclusion that it must be some kind of bug in the Windows update or in the Mozilla update. I would be very happy if you could help me. I have an old computer at work that still has Windows 7 and I also have Mozilla installed and everything works fine there. I turn on the PC and then Mozilla and all my accounts stay logged in and my entire browsing history is saved and I can continue working.

Whenever this comes up and I reinstall Firefox, I can't get all of my data back. It's just stuff from a long time ago and I end up losing a lot of my bookmarks. This is the second time it's happened and I'd like to know how I can prevent it, or at least how to get all my recent stuff back. Thanks.

It's slowly dawning on me that this might be an unfixable problem, but I'll ask anyway.

When I updated my Macbook this morning, Firefox updated as well, and when I opened it, all my bookmarks, history, passwords, and extensions were missing. My Mozilla account was signed out, so I signed in, but since my password was only saved on Firefox, I had to reset it... I think this may have deleted my data permanently.

Weirdly, a similar thing happened to me with a recent previous update where all my bookmarks vanished. I tried to follow the guide to restore bookmarks, which didn't work, but when I quit and restarted Firefox they came back anyway so I didn't think too much about it.

It's definitely my fault for panicking and resetting my account password without reading the consequences too carefully, but I don't understand why these updates sign you out of the browser in the first place. I'm not the most tech savvy person in the world and it wasn't like they were warning before the update to make sure all my data was backed up... they just sprung it on me at 7 on a Saturday morning. Sorry for complaining. If anybody has any idea how to fix this, I'll be eternally grateful.

Now I've singed in my Firefox account on my Laptop after it was completely reset. After syncing data from my account there is nothing at all in history, bookmarks, etc. Could you please assist to recover my data?

This is the new popup. You open a link in a new tab, so you can come back to the page later, and the site opens a different website in the background, while opening the new tab. There has to be some way to prevent this, short of shutting down JS and rendering the site unusable.

A major bug unfortunately means that Firefox cannot open in full screen anymore. I have tried restarting it more than a dozen times, but it still doesn't work. Please solve this as soon as possible; I am begging you, I’m on my knees for the developers.

Not sure what topic this would be under but when I print a webpage from Firebox the info (page # - date and time info) at the bottom of the page will only print the top half, all it shows is the top half of page 1 of 6, etc on the left side and the top half of the 5/10/2025 on the right side, it prints the whole line of info at the top of page. How do I get Firefox to print the whole line of info at the bottom of the page?

I'm in the process of exporting my FireFox bookmarks as html files.

In this process I noticed that everytime I save (export bookmarks as html) as a file a location on my disk, then open up that file to inspect/check - I notice that FireFox appends to the exported file rather than replace. Even though it asks if I want to replace the existing file during the save dialogue.

I'm using win 8.1

So, that's fine I though, 'let's' just delete that file and start over. Long story short, it does not work; I did the following.

Before closing FireFox I went into FireFox settings and click on all catagories of History - and cleared. I then closed FireFox then in Windows Explorer went to where the original file (exported html bookmarks), and deleted that file directly from windows.

I then opened up FireFox again and exported the my bookmarks as html to the same location again. Even though that destination no longer has a file from before - when I reopen the just now newly export html bookmark file - I see the contents are the same as before - (I has the appended/duplicated html bookmarks).

It's like instead of exporting the bookmarks I actually see in FireFox, it is referring to some saved information somewhere instead and saving that.

How can I export what bookmarks and folders I actually see in FireFox instead of some internal bookmarks/folders FireFox thinks I have - In other words - is there some file I can delete or setting to clear?

The article at https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/tab-groups says (and shows a mockup animation) to drag a tab onto another tab to create a tab group. It also says the feature is being rolled out in v137 and will be available to all users by May 6.

It's May 8, and I'm using v138, but dragging a tab onto another tab just reorders the tabs.

What's the deal?

When browsing with Firefox, scrolling with the up/down arrow keys intermittently causes the keyboard to be disabled. Trackpad and touchscreen still function, but keyboard becomes completely disabled, requiring a reboot.

I've had this problem for over a year and through several versions. It also happens when running in safe mode, so that should eliminate any plugins.

This ONLY happens while browsing with Firefox browser. I cannot deliberately reproduce this, but it happens frequently - up to several times a day. It seems to be tied to scrolling with the down and up keys. This only happens in Firefox, not in any other apps or browsers.

Can anyone help me isolate the problem and find a fix? I am a retired programmer, so I should be able to get to the bottom of this with some help. I suspect that my env may be so unique that nobody can

i'm on an old macbook air running Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS. i exported my chrome bookmarks into an html file, and tried importing them into firefox. firefox says "577 bookmarks imported", but not a single one shows up anywhere in the firefox bookmarks. what am i missing? Thanks, Nilesh
