Somehow the file ended up on my desktop. I think I saw it in a wierd place so I moved it out hoping it would go where it was supposed to go but it ended up on my desktop and now Firefox won't open correctly. Help?

My husband bought a new computer and signed into Firefox with the wrong email but the right password. Needless to say his decades of info disappeared. I have the recovery key from his old computer, am I guaranteed it will recover his old info? He is so sure it will fail he just wants to return the new machine and struggle with the crappy old one.

Hi there, For a couple of weeks my youtube.com and myanimelist.net have both been outdated versions of the sites, such as my youtube showing recommendations i saw weeks ago and my myanimelist showing my shows as unwatched or at an outdated amount of episodes watched. It only changes back to up to date when i refresh.

I have tried clearing my cache and booting in safe mode and these both didn't work. This issue isn't that pressing but getting it fixed would be amazing. I couldn't find anything in the help forums or on google or reddit so Im asking here.

With the progressive rollout of tab groups having ended (I am assuming that because they are available by default in fresh installations), I would expect them to be available when I sync with my Firefox profile. However, when I sign in to the browser to sync all my settings, the option disappears. I am more interested in why the rollout never reached me than being told to enable tab groups in `about:options`. The profile switcher is also not showing up, but I am not sure if that is still in beta.

After Firefox went haywire every time I tried to upload a file or add an attachment to an email, I eventually found a way to "restore default settings". That fixed ONE problem but immediately caused several new ones: The "File Edit History etc" toolbar has disappeared. How do I get it back? The colours and identifying icons in the drop-down tab menu on the right have also disappeared. How do I get them back? Nowhere to recover them in Settings and no answers to the questions from Mozilla.  :-(

I want to edit a PDF with firefox. The PDF has two different address lines. When I put in one address it automatically copies it into the other line. But I the two addresses I have to put in are different. But when I edit one the other does the same. What can I do?

I mean when choosing: "Set image as desktop background" and a window opens, in that window a combo box should be between choosing "Desktop Wallpaper" and "Lock Screen wallpaper", and if there are multiple displays another combox box for what display or for all.

On the website https://tiefbasskommando.de, a custom animated mouse cursor is supposed to appear when hovering over the page. This works correctly in browsers like Chrome and Edge, but in Firefox, the custom cursor does not appear at all and not even the default cursor.

I'm experiencing a consistent issue when typing Vietnamese using the built-in Windows Vietnamese keyboard (IME) in Firefox. Steps to reproduce:

   Type a Vietnamese word

   Press space after the word

   Immediately press backspace to delete the space

   Then type a punctuation mark, such as ,, ., (, ), ;, etc

   The entire word just typed is deleted immediately after pressing the punctuation key.

Notes:

   This issue does not happen in other browsers like Chrome or Edge.

   It only occurs when using the Windows built-in Vietnamese IME (not 3rd-party input tools like EVKey or Unikey).

   The bug seems related to how Firefox handles IME input, especially when mixing backspace and punctuation.

   It is very disruptive when typing Vietnamese naturally, especially in form fields, textareas, or comments.

Please look into this issue or let me know if there’s a workaround. It's been a consistent obstacle when typing Vietnamese and I don't want to use another tool just to type Vietnamese in Firefox, thank you.
