Hi. Since Firefox 79 the CSS on every Ebay website do not work. No issues on Chrome. See attached screenshots. This happens on either Windows and Ubuntu. Since Ebay is a sponsor of Firefox, i tried to report this issue to Ebay, but i could only find a chat with some (presumably) support chap from who knows where who did not understand the issue at all (typical with tech supports from India). I am not sure if this is an Ebay or Firefox issue, but since ***no*** Ebay website display correctly but only as a plain text page, i would like to ask to Firefox developers to look into the issue and see what can be done to resolve it. There is a fullscreen mode that prints a window over the full size of the screen without showing toolbars/navigation/extensions... Is there a "full window" mode that do the same, but over the full size of a window? It would be a simple webview in a system window but without the control toolbars. It would be very useful when tiling several Firefox windows without wasting space for toolbars/tabs... This mode should be specific for a window since I do not want to loose the controls on the main screen-wide window.

I am using Firefox on an old Ubuntu machine, and found myself unable to disable the auto update feature of Firefox. I understand why Firefox wants to do auto update, but for me personally it's negatively impacting my productivity. Many times I was looking up reference materials only to be told that I need to restart Firefox because it just updated itself. Imagine how frustrating it is, especially when I use the Private Browsing mode a lot to avoid having to clean up browsing history and cached files later. All in all, while the auto update feature might be good for some users, it's just not working for me, so I want it to be disabled.

I tried a couple of things. First, there's nothing in the "Preferences" page related to the auto update. Second, I tried to change the value of "app.update.auto" in the "about:config" page to false, and it still does auto update. Finally, I tried to add a "policies.json" file to "/etc/firefox/", with the following content:

Yet it still does auto updates. As a matter of fact, it updated itself to version 80 just now. This driving me crazy. Any useful suggestions will be sincerely appreciated.

The title says it all: I am wondering whether it is possible to interact with the Firefox console upon starting Firefox in headless mode.

More generally, I'd settle for some way of accessing it programmatically, in scripts.

Starting Firefox with the -devtools option from Selenium does opn the dev tools, but I then cannot send key combinations that will switch me to the actual console, or in fact interact from my `.js` script with the open devtools window in any way.

Is there a setting to get the contrast back on the Gmail web page? When I load the site I can't see the select icons/boxes down the left hand side, nor the action icons at the top of the page like delete, mark as read, report spam etc. They are there because when I hover over where they should be with the mouse I get the text showing. They are quite faint in Windows but not showing at all in Linux. I have tried changing colours and different themes but nothing works.

Hi, after upgrading to FF 80 (on Linux Mint Ulyana and Windows 10), syncing bookmarks via my own sync server doesn't work any more. It seems that FF doesn't store my login into my ff account. After entering my credentials (and usually entering the six-digit code mailed to me), i get a short success information, but immediately afterwards, in the menu symbol, there's a yellow warning sign again, telling me to login again into my ff account. I think it's not a matter with my sync server since on my corporate pc (with FF < 80), syncing still works. Additionally, i didn't change anything regarding the sync server, i've just upgraded FF to version 80.

So, what to do except downgrading FF to a lower version where syncing still works?

I wish to pin a site to the menu bar - told that need to activate "page action" - this does not appear in 3 bar menu - tried "safe mode" and disabled extensions - still no page actions. Do not use chrome

• Desired behavior: I can add my own trusted Certificate Authority next to all the others.
• Actual behavior: After clicking “Import” and selecting the root CA's cert file, reloading the website it certifies still yields an Unknown Issuer error.

I am running Firefox 80.0 on Fedora Linux 32.

This certificate file works perfectly fine on another browser.

I keep getting a unknown pop up after recently up grading FF. I have not seen this before and can`t find out what plugin if any it is coming from. All it does is ask if i want to refresh FF now or later. See the attached image.

I have a website running on a virtual machine on my PC. I access it through m-nlp.test.

Suddenly, my js files are not loaded anymore, although I have not changed anything at the website.

I get the following error/warnings when I open my website with Firefox:

>Loading failed for the with source “http://m-nlp.test/js/index.js?v=4”.

>Content Security Policy: The page's settings blocked the loading of a resource at eval ("script-src").

and the js is not working. I don't understand why a `Content Security Policy` is raised, because the js files that I try to load are accessed from the same domain (http://m-nlp.test/).

Weird facts:

• The live website on the production server is working in Firefox.
• m-nlp.test works in Chrome
• m-nlp.test works in incognito window in Firefox.

I cleared cache for m-nlp.test but it is still showing the same error.

Hi! I have got a big problem that took hours of my patient attention, but nothing helped(or I have done something incorrectly).

I am unable to play most videos on the internet. For example, i can watch video in youtube, but when i play stream on the same platform, youtube complains that currently my firefox browser does not recognize any html5 video formats.

Plugins installed: OpenH264, Shockwave Flash, and... while writing this question i've found that there's also widevine cdm that i tried earlier to install in my browser, 'cause by default in my Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS there's no such extension.

I usually have a lot of tabs opened Too often I expirience that instead of moving from a tab down to another tab, I instead get the first tab changed to a new window :( I seems to happen because I move the mouse down and not to the left or rigth to antother tab It is very annoing. I run a blog on wordpress and while editing a blog post I tried to adjust the justify the paragraph but it not worked. I previously used chrome in which it worked, but in firefox it seems that its is not working.

  I always had this question but never really asked it. Why isn't DuckDuckGo or a more privacy based Search engine set as default? You even have to manually add Startpage and others... 

 It just hurts me how a privacy browser has the Google search engine as default after all, most people come to Firefox for privacy and Google is the opposite. Maybe one of the developers can change that?

One of the reasons I'm still using 56 is that the start page preference and home page preference are separate. I can set the browser to start with a blank page, but then if I wish to quickly go to my home page I can just click on the icon in the address bar. Don't know why this feature was downgraded in the new versions, but I'd like to update - so how can I make this be so in the new version of Firefox? I want to set the start page different from the home page like 56.

up until Sep 8th, I had no issues at all viewing netflix via firefox. suddenly, streams won't play, they get stuck, I've even encountered a video published in facebook that had it's audio distorted. but if I boot firefox in safe mode, everything works allright. firefox wasn't upgraded, I'm using firefox 80.0.1 on linux. I have noticed that flash was upgraded on Sep 9th but I would expect the same behavior to persists no matter if it is in normal mode or safe mode.

any ideas what can cause this?
