I have not noticed this before upgrading my Mac to Sequoia 15.0, using latest Firefox browser update, but "printing to PDF" which I used in the past extensively, makes a PDF file that causes the letters to be one ASCII number off. So if I type into the "search" field "p", then all the "o's" are highlighted. I can only enter a search term if I usean "ASCII number +1" technique, so I can search for "get" by typing in "fds". Numbers are searched for as in the past. This is not happening if I make a PDF using my Safari browser, all the PDF words are correct and searchable as in the past. Anyone have insights as to why this might be occurring? I will try restarting in "safe" mode and re-downloading Firefox as is suggested in some of the articles here. Thanks!

Whenever Firefox has been shut down, such as a computer restart, it takes a very, very long time to finally come up to where it works. 7 to 10 minutes is not unusual. What can I do to remedy this issue?

I used to be able to Bookmark a website. I simple don't' see "bookmark this site" or "Add a bookmark". I don't know what a tag is or or even how to tag a site. I have bookmarks but can't remember how to do them. I did set up a Bookmark file, now I can't put a site into the file. Can I call someone who can walk me through it? The answers Ive read to this question are over my head.

when I try to open Firefox I get the following message ERROR platform version '130.01 is not compatible with mini version 130.00 max version 130.00

This leaves me with 3 questions: 1. Am I supposed to know what this message in computer talk means, 2. Am I supposed to know how to restore Firefox to my computer, 3. Does this impossible to solve problem happen on Chrome

I cannot use Firefox or Thunderbird I keep getting an error code: PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR The problem started straight after the latest update a few days ago.

I have cleared the cache and cookies I turned off the addons and extensions I shut down the internet security I changed the proxy settings to "no proxy" I even changed cert9 to ccert9 and had firefox generate a new cert9

Nothing has worked.

I research a lot of topics and admittedly have tons of bookmarks in tons of folders. I've used Firefox probably for ten years.

I can save new bookmarks on my desktop PC, but about a week ago, it's gotten harder and harder to save on my Macbook. I've cleared the cache many times, turned off all extensions. Shut down Firefox then reloaded it, and shut down my Macbook, which is the only time I'm able to save any bookmarks.. then it reverts back to not being able to save any.

What's going on, and how do I fix it?

None of the extensions I have installed on Firefox, all enable, show up in the extensions toolbar. Restarting my laptop does not make a difference

Not having access to Dashlane's password autofill funtion is particularly frustrating

Early this year, it was reported by many people that the browser often fails with Yahoo comments. You changed something in your system, as other browsers still work fine. Sometimes they don't show, sometimes notifications don't show up and often comments fail to publish, though all work on Edge.

It still isn't fixed and got worse this weekend.

Are you doing anything at all to address this, other than laughing?

The browser just shuts down when one tries to create a new flow ... obviously there is not a way to screenshot this ... one suspects this is a javascript issue.

What Else Have I Tried?

• Ungoogle Chromium - Absolutely fine, no add-ons
• Firefox mozilla-deb - 1.0 130.0.1 (64-bit) - Absolutely fine, no add-ons

Today, Firefox on macOS, and Firefox in a Parallels VM (Windows 10) are unable to open any websites outside my local network(e.g. 192.168.1.1). Other browsers are work correctly, and even "curl" works correctly. Checked all settings, reinstalled Firefox, refreshed Firefox, re-read all Mozilla docs on this issue. Doesn't appear to be affected by Firefox setting "DNS prefetch". Mac is running Sequioa 15.0 Firefox versions: macOS 130.0.1 (64-bit), Windows 10 (within Parallels for Mac): 125.0.3 (64-bit) Firewall is set to prevent incoming connections to Firefox and Google Chrome (set by company profile).

For the past few days now I've been getting a PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR when I try to use certain websites such as Reddit or Tumblr. The problem occurs on both my PC and mobile when using Firefox. I can access the websites just fine using other browsers.

I've tried the solutions listed here: https://appuals.com/pr-end-of-file-error/

But none of them have worked. I've also tried renaming the 'cert9.db' file in my profile folder, but that hasn't worked either.

Why is Firefox creating many copies of webpages I visit? I go to a website, but then have to click the back button several times to return to where I was. Right click on the back button shows that there are several copies of the same page (see photo attached). What gives?

Fix whatever the [redacted] is wrong with your product that make Twitch streams look like [redacted] every 20-30 seconds. Chrome can figure it out why cant you! JFC

Firefox regularly disconnects from internet while other browsers keep on working. I have disable all addons, still have the same problem. It works and then it suddenly just sits there and spins forever trying to load a page, while I can still work on other browsers. I have 1000s of tabs open so it would be very sad to have to switch to another browser.

So i have had no issues with firefox until yesterday when i unplugged everything to give my pc a clean, i set it back up and solely firefox doesnt play any audio, it doesnt appear in the windows volume mixer at all. I have tried refreshing it, deleting and reinstalling. Audio still works on other browsers so i have no idea what the issue is

I can log in to the New York Times using Safari without issue, no presentation of a prove-you're-human test, just a quick and easy login. But using Firefox I am always first presented with a prove-you're-human test, then a rejection of a following login attempt with explanation that I am suspected of being a robot. I've tried all the standard moves to avoid this problem, using troubleshooting mode, clearing caches, using minimal security settings--nothing changes the situation.

Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?
