I updated Firefox, and now I have tiny tabs at the very top of the screen, a URL bar permanently set with either their homepage or a search bar, and basically nothing else.

There are no settings or themes to change these things.

I can't read the tiny tabs, and I really would prefer a blank page and the small search bar off to the side if I want to search. I am often on cellular data and want to avoid opening anything until I choose it to save on data charges--and why can't I choose what I want to display?

Look, I am not a programmer. I am not risking messing up code in the guts of the browser to change these things because the person who wrote out these instructions is not going to be available to help me if I make a mistake.

Could I have settings to make the browser useful to me? I really don't want to go back to Safari, but I'm an old fart who can't see the new "improved" menu bar.

Hi. I just added one of your free features (which name I am forgetting) which allows me to create an email account so as to avoid using my actual email which then forwards msgs to my actual email address. I do not want it. How do I remove it?

I had to add Javascript because one of my accounts need Javascript to open. After installing Javascript and allowing for all to be 'true', I still get this message when I try to open a 'show blocked content' in my email.

"The address wasn’t understood

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because one of the following protocols (javascript) isn’t associated with any program or is not allowed in this context.

   You might need to install other software to open this address."

I never had any problem before installing Javascript. Thanks for any solutions.

Until recently my browser accessed all the sites I have used for years and now I cannot access them. As an example the message I receive is "You don't have permission to access "http://booking.jetstar.com/au/en/booking/select-flights" on this server".

All this started after I loaded Norton. I have had them look at the system, and they have, but also point out that it is not them as I can access the site from Edge. I have looked at the help page and their are thousands of people with the same query but no fixes! As a long term supporter of Firefox I am disappointed that I now have to use Edge to do most of my business. HELP

Also you can manually add sites in preferences. Privacy & Security Preferences → View Certificates... → Servers → Add Exception

As I belong to no organization, I find this disturbing. Some of the settings being "managed" for me are not as I want them. How do I get access to them? FWIW. I am using Firefox in Linux Mint. Thank you for your help.

Several websites (not sure it's website-related) are displaying some (or a lot) of unreadable text. If I copy the text and then paste it into a page in a text program, it all reads fine. What could be causing this, and how do I fix it? (Screen shot is attached.)

I am not ultra-technical so please make response clear.

I enjoy Firefox, however I've recently realized that hackers are using the Firefox browser to attack and enter my system, despite a firewall and VPN and even in private browser. I've been forced to cease use of the Firefox browser and decided to bring this to your attention after realizing that this surely will become widespread if not already. Is Firefox aware of such attacks and if so what are you doing about it and when do you think I will be able to safely use your browser again? Also I'm open to explore any suggested setting that may help with the security of your browser. Thanks.

I can no longer log-in to sites that require Usersname and Password on my Mac. But I have no trouble using my iPhone to log-in using the ios Firefox and Firefox Focus. I tried clearing the history on my Mac and still no success. The error message I keep getting is "Could not process login". I know my username and password by heart and have had problem logging in before. Just recently in January 2023. I kept trying until I got locked-out. Please advise.

When I open Firefox it's just a black page and anything I click on isn't responsive. I can't go into options or anything. Sometimes Firefox doesn't even load. It worked fine earlier than all of a sudden It stopped working today. Web pages don't load. Nothing works

I seen a post earlier that had a link to a supposed fix but I couldn't figure it out. So if anybody is able to help me it would be much appreciated. I am not an advanced user when it comes to Firefox

frustrated and thinking about moving away from firefox. why not let us choose whether to update or not??

cookies deleting you have to search for each and everyone (why not sorted by installed date???) then one has to delete all the site cookies that are ok cause such a big effort to clear cookies!

no longer able to bank cause bank changed their cross site settings and firefox wont let me through...have to watch the status in bottom left corner and hope I can read it fast enough.

I would like to add different pictures to the Fire Fox Home page from time to time. How can I add a picture to the home screen? I am switching from Google Chrome because Google is no longer supporting Windows 7 Pro 64 byte.

For several days, I've been locked out of a banking website I use regularly (Fidelity) using Firefox on two different computers. However, I can access the site using Safari. I'm using an iMac 24 and a Macbook Pro. I've cleared the cache, have turned off the ad blocker for the site, and have an up to date version of Firefox. Thanks in advance for help.
