I am getting very annoyed because something has happen to my FireFox browser and I am not sure what. I thought it was maleware or a virus. I was using Windows native tools but it detected nothing. So I purchase BITDEFENDER to see if would catch something. Nothing. So I need some help in figuring out what going on because it happening only in Firfox and it happens on two different machines.

Here is what is happening. Just one example that just happen to me. I went to https://www.maizenbrew.com. Then I pick any item. Then when scrolling down the page without clicking on anything, it jumps me to this page:

Why? Also it started doing this on other site like ENGADGET.com and GIZMODO.com. No matter what I have tried I can not get this behavior to stop and as I stated it happening on multiple machines. Please help because it extremely annoying.

I have never had Mcafee loaded on either computer system and I do not use it at all. I have check to see if was installed and there is not app to remove and my register on my computer system is clean. Hopefully this is enough detail to help me.

I have run Firefox for years on up to 4 PCs at once, everything has always synced and screens all look the same. Recently one laptop lost the addon extension icons in the Firefox toolbar. They remain on all other installations. I have tried uninstalling Firefox and installing an earlier build, and also the latest Beta build with no luck. All extensions show as installed and activated. I have copied the Profile from another laptop. I have of course done a reset. Any other suggestions?

since the latest update (17/1/23) Firefox seems to Hang then lockup then freeze then unfreeze when just browsing.

no special tabs open such as Youtube- just locks up on browsing 2 tabs plus- google search on 1 and facebook on 1 tab-closed the google search tab then scrolling through Facebook,froze after 3 scrolls of the wheel,locked up then unfroze

It's NOT just Bookmarks but topic did not have a good choice.

My problem is that Firefox is opening with the wrong version? When I click a link in another program, like Discord or some others, it does not open with MY version, with the tabs and menus, etc. And if I try to save a bookmark it does not have MY saved bookmarks? So to get around this I copy the URL, open MY real Firefox, paste the URL into it, press enter to go there and then save I my bookmark. If I open my Firefox with a link to Firefox EVERYTHING is normal. It's ONLY when I try opening a link in a different program.

PLEASE Help, I don't know what is wrong. This only started about 10 days agO??

Dropbox has a feature for creating and saving GoogleDocs within Dropbox folders. This feature can be accessed via the Dropbox website interface (e.g. "Create->Document->Google Docs". This works well when using Chrome and Safari browsers, but I cannot get it to work with Firefox. When I create or try to edit an existing GoogleDoc via the Dropbox website, I am prompted to sign into my Google account, however clicking "Sign in" only refreshes the page, so the Google Doc cannot be loaded.

I have tried the following fixes: - Turned off "Enhanced tracking protection" for dropbox.com (via the shield icon to the left of the address bar). - Allow all cookies and trackers (Firefox preferences -> Enhanced tracking protection -> unchecked cookies and tracking). - Allowed cookies and site data from dropbox.com and google.com (Firefox preferences -> Cookies and Site Data -> Manage Exceptions).

I am a member of ON1 Photo-When new items appear from this source. There is never a cost shown, only a very small circle that keeps rotating around. Also, I can never open my account with ON1 photo to view or download any new program or video. I must go to Edge or Crome to get to my account. I would rather not use those two browsers as they enter advertisments/malicious articles to my system.

Why can I never get to ON 1 Photo to do anything when I use fireFox

Using Firefox 109.0 (64-bit) and my Extension Button's changed to an inconvenient location, cannot be moved, and no longer goes directly to about:addons. Instead just gives me a useless list of extensions I have. Not sure why it's suddenly become an annoying, useless button.

I tried to make a Mozilla account on my laptop to start syncing my devices, but the page has come up saying I'm too young to make an account. I'm 29? I dont think coppa applies to me? I don't know if I just put in the wrong number, but the browser had completely blocked access to the song on page so I can't attempt to put in the right information. I had to make the account on phone so I could post this question. What do I do????

I think better to add sleeping tabs option-like edge browser-to saving resources of system. saving system of chrome is not ok. because offloading tabs. but, edge don't offload and its faster!

So I can not play audio from any website in firefox. I updated, refreshed, used troubleshoot mode, and unistall & reinstalled. Nothing works. I know it is not my PC because the sound works on every other app, just firefox wont play audio PLEASE HELP

Title. Whenever I open Firefox, the window will appear shortly after, but it will take around a minute for websites to load. This applies to both tabs from older sessions and opening new tabs. It doesn't matter whether I've just booted up, or if I've been running for half an hour. I've tried disabling all extensions, but that hasn't fixed anything. I am running Linux Mint 21.1 Cinnamon on my Gaming Laptop. Specs shouldn't be an issue. ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED!

I have been using firefox for several years. Have my bookmark icon on the menu bar on the right hand top. The drop down list of bookmark appear on the right and submenus appear on the left of the drop down list. Recently one folder began showing the sublistings on the right side, it used to display them on the left. All of the rest are displayed on the left side.

The titles of these bookmarks displayed on the right are some of the shortest in length.

Is there a way to set this back to the left side?

Had Firefox for many years. Generally, install updates automatically.

Most recent update a few days ago (109.0 (64-bit)) has stopped all on page links. I even try to hover over, view and copy links, and they don't show up. Try to advance pictures in a rotation display - no response. The only change was the auto update.

I format my laptop. Now when I installed firefox I can't find the colorways theme. Is there a way to get it back? I use different profiles and I like the different colors colorways offer. Please can I still get the themes back?
