I got a message on firefox that it was running slow & if I reset my firefox browser it might help speed it up. It also said that it wouldn't effect my logins & passwords or my saved bookmarks, but after clicking on the reset as instructed, I lost everything! I'm not sure what to do.... I clicked on restore bookmarks, but it said can't access the file... Is there any thing I can do to get them back??

Will restoring the laptop to an earlier date work?

I have a problem with Firefox 87 that I am completely stumped by. Since I have updated Windows to version 20H2, my audio in Firefox became all muddy, as if only bass tones come through. Speech is completely inaudible and impossible to understand. This is a problem unique to Firefox, as other applications such as Spotify or MS Edge sound fine.

Could this be a compatibility problem with my sound card? (Creative SoundBlaster ZxR) This feels unlikely as it worked before...

When I select the bookmark, Firefox does nothing, apparently.

iPhone works just fine on sites that Firefox won't access, so it's not the modem or the ISP.

I can not access my Gmail anymore. This problem just happened "out of the blue,after I unplugged my computer when I hit the power cord,

Suddenly a week ago or so, Disqus comment boxes no longer appear. I reported it to a website that employs Disqus for commenting. They have been investigating for a couple of weeks with no response.

There was a question asked on this forum in 2013 that describes the Subject, but nothing since. Running on Window 10 Home.

This problem does not occur on my Windows 10 machine with Edge or Chrome browsers.

Nor does it occur on Ipad or Android browsers.

I can't remember when it started, but one day tabs on my Firefox browser suddenly started having visual issues where textures or pictures would show up as a vibrant green (more recently its begun highlighting some yellow as well). I've had similar problem in the past with videos instead, but I fixed that by updating my graphics card. This problem also affects text as well. Sometimes letters will be invisible, glitched beyond comprehension, or purple. I've tried turning off hardware acceleration, resetting Firefox to default, and completely uninstalling and reinstalling, but none of these have fixed it. I'll attach some images below. (this problem is specific to Firefox, Microsoft Edge works fine)

The websites that I use Facebook to login with won't let me login, I've tried closing and reopening the browser, refreshing the page, and deleting and signing back into the account, but nothing works. The browser Windows 7 desktop and the websites in question are Dailymotion, Viki Rakuten and We TV. I wonder if it was because I was using a Windows 7 machine, but other login sources like Google seem to work fine.

When I attempted to do a post purchase customer survey, the scoundrels at Target tricked me into installing an incredibly invasive, suspicious SearchesCentral browser, which has now replaced my Firefox browser. What can I say? I am not very computer saavy. How do I undo this ghastly error, and remove this potentially dangerous software from my brand new laptop?

The "Back Space" quit working. It used to return to the previously viewed page. The Alt+Left Arrow does the same but is not as convenient since it requires both hands to return where the Back Space did not.

How do I restore its functionality?

The Facebook password I change on Monday and Works, will not work the next day...every time!!

I recently had to restore my computer to factory setting and Firefox was one of the first things I reinstalled when I was done. Everything seems to be working except that when I put my cursor over a tab or an extension button instead of a tool tip it just shows and empty box. It's always showed a tool tip so I don't know why it started doing this now.

I opened the area on my hard drive and found that every photo has the firefox logo in front of the picture name. I opened these same photos last week and there was no logo. How did this happen and what do I do to remove the logo. I did nothing that I know of to cause this to happen. Thank you Ken

I just refreshed my firefox browser, and so now my Home is completely empty. Attempting to manually enter a website and add it to my Top Sites does not appear to have any effect, merely returns me to my very empty Home page.

I would like to ask why the input type "month" (<input type = "month" name = "m1" id = "m1" />) does not work in Fireofx? I have version 88.0. He tested it with Microsoft Edge and it works. Maybe I should set something up in my Firefox configuration?

Ever since I signed up for Firefox sync, I have been berated with emails from them asking me to sync more devices. I really do not want to receive marketing emails from Mozilla and there is no unsubscribe button in the email. How can I stop these emails?
