Hi, I like to use the Inspector window to modify layouts for printing &/or save as pdf only portions of a page or a whole page that's not laid out in a printer friendly way. Lately in the "Rules" pane of the Inspector window, I've noticed something I've never seen before. Normally it shows a list of rules for properties, attributes, etc...(CSS) which I can select or locate and change/modify with virtually no problems. Lately in that pane I've been seeing an item with an italicized title "element attributes style" and a lock icon on the upper left next to that text and it doesn't show show a link to the CSS page on the right side, nor does it allow me to select anything within. Does anybody know about this ?...is it some new setting or something that's changed in the newer versions of the browser. A couple of months ago I updated FF, which I hadn't done for awhile, and also just by chance, since that update I hadn't really used the Inspector for one reason or another, so I'm wondering if it's just a coincidence, since I had never seen it before. Dear Mozilla, I have enjoyed Firefox and I always appreciated the vast headline stories recommended in the past. Recently, there seems to be a change where every recommended article requires a paid subscription, i.e. Slate Plus, I already pay WAPO, NYT, WSJ, San Diego Union Tribune, Arizona Republic that i cannot afford to pay each and every website. I would be very happy if you could tell me where in my settings i can set it to show only free articles or perhaps my screen could show a little green dollar sign saying if article was behind a paywall. thank you for your time in reading and assistance. My search history is clogged with repetitions of the same search. For example I log onto my bank account and the search history shows 15 plus or minus entries. It also happens with other sites i visit often. I searched the internet about "history" and It was suggested that is check extensions and remove them. Then Just today my bank sign-in icon was gone. Sorry Im not always using the correct terminolgy.

some of my icons on the location bar do not appear, or only appear when I have the window maximized. How can I reorder thewse icons so the ones I want to see most often are on the left? this refers specifically to the add-on icons, but I would think all the icons are controlled the same way (that is, if one can control them).

Firefox is shutting down all my active tabs automatically WITHOUT asking me. This is regularly happening and wastes a lot of time. Is it due to installing Updates ? I DON"T want ANY updates and I am fully happy with my current version. If this doesn't go away, I will have to delete this browser and move elsewhere.

I have been using Firefox for many, many years. As of late I find it is constantly slowing or freezing and when I check with taskmanager I find Firefox has opened and is running as many as 85 processes. I have tried the recommended methods of limiting it...but the performance options do not provide the ability to limit processes as set out in the instructions....and changing the browser.tabs.remote.autostart to false also did not work. If I can't fix this, I will have to stop using Firefox. I am using version 144.0

Since the new CEO of Firefox seems to be very determined to add more AI features to the browser that I've been using (among other things) specifically to escape AI slop, I will be considering switching to another browser. It will be disheartening to abandon the browser I've been using for years, but I value my personal data (and cpu) too much to let an AI handle it. I appreciated his words that it would be "Completely opt-in, you have full control, and if you try it and find it’s not for you, you can choose to switch it off", but I strongly believe that all AI browsers are inherently insecure. The first AI feature that I can't make completely disappear forever with one click will be my sign to switch browsers. Hopefully, Firefox re-thinks its approach and decides not to destroy the exact thing that makes it so valuable - the commitment to protect the users' privacy.

i need to access my aol and yahoo email like i was always able to do using firefox. now it states security risk and "nothing " you can do? please advise . i need access to my desktop to easliy see my emails and don't like using my phone

When I click on the URL bar, the entire URL is highlighted. Then, if I click the left arrow, it brings my cursor to the start of the URL. After it moves my cursor, it then prepends the URL with the protocol (https://, http://, etc). My cursor is now no longer on the left side, and I need to hit my left-arrow key several more times to reach the left side.

Ideally, it would bring my cursor to the left side of the protocol, or show the entire URL, with protocol, in the URL bar, so that it does not need to prepend it.

This is the 4th time I've reported this problem. Here's the warning I get every day only after I have already been loading Newsmax pages with no problems:

There are no other sites in which I have this problem with FF x64 DE. In Edge, I see the newsmax pages load while the FF x64 DE https//newsmax.com xontinues to genberate the above message and fails to load the screen.

Please fix.

Whether a person clicks the fullscreen indicator or types F on the keyboard, the cursor will remain on screen as the video is playing until it is again moved. This also affects video played through the browser on steampowered.com. This issue appeared as of 143 and is still going strong in 144. This seems to be macOS specific as I am not noticing this behaviour on the Windows client. Could be a conflict with Tahoe.. I don't really know at this point.

There used to be a website where you could fire off a 'Firefox made me happy/sad' which is where I would've preferred to send this. So, have other people encountered this issue? And if so, are there any lasting solutions beyond wiggling the mouse?
