Hi Community,

Whenever I am shopping online on my Macbook (MacOS Sierra 15.7.2) Firefox will begin to freeze and then hang on the checkout page. I notice this happens most often with Shop/Shopify websites. Can someone help? This behavior seemed to begin this year about 6 months ago. I end up having to go Safari and reload my page, find the items again, and then I can check out. So problem is something about Firefox and my machine.

I have previously enjoyed firefox very much. After the latest update I am now unable to login to bluehost, nor can i copy from chatgpt any more. What happened. I can do the same in Chrome.

Running Firefox 149.0.2 (64-bit) on MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) with Catalina (10.15.9).

I was in the process of updating a non-profit's website and had opened the html file on my computer. I noticed that the "y" (lower case) was missing from the days of the week. I checked the RUNNING website and saw the same thing. Checked he same website with Safari and the "y" suddenly appeared. Okay, so I then tried to add another "y" somewhere else on that page and ... nothing, so on a whim I added a "Y" to my Mac's file and guess what? It upper case Y displayed. Also noticed that on some web pages instead of showing me the characters in some words, it substitutes "ddddddd" for some words. What's up?

If you go to americangreetings.com, then click on the latest greeting card with ROB LOWE, enter info and then check if everything is OK. When you try to play it, it only plays his voice and there is NO PICTURE AT ALL. Other card will work, but not this one. WHY? It works fine on other browsers I have, but not on FIREFOX! I run a mac mini with OS X Catalina. I keep to that operating system as a number of my work apps work better. I am on the latest version of Firefox (64 bit) 144.0

In the last couple of years I have found webforms on Firefox seem to omit links or progress buttons like CONTINUE. When I check with the issuer or my colleagues I find they all use CHROME.

I have wasted a great deal of time on what I would have thought is a Minimum requirement issue.

Please give me one reason why I should stay with Firefox and not change to Chrome

Moved from Windows to Mac and now facing this issue, so it seems to be a Firefox + Mac OS compatibility issue.

Have turned on screen recording permissions in Mac settings and some other accessibility permissions that have been suggested and nothing helps.

Will need to use a different browser just to screen share.

The Firefox browser randomly chops off parts of divs on a local development site using the embla api and vue. On hover the items get rendered again, but disappear when the mouse leaves again. Sometimes only the corners get chopped off, sometimes it's half of a div and sometimes children inside the dom are not being displayed but selectable. According to the inspect element tool, everything should be displayed correctly as it is in chromium and webkit based browsers.

Cannot connect to BBC Sounds web page (https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds). Get the following error message: "The page isn’t redirecting properly Firefox has detected that the server is redirecting the request for this address in a way that will never complete. This problem can sometimes be caused by disabling or refusing to accept cookies."

Have tried with and without a VPN, have cleared the cache, and shutdown/restarted Firefox, but no luck.

Connects without issue when using alternative browsers.

None of my streaming networks Peacock and Netflix wont work on Firefox anymore. We get errors saying our Browser is no longer supported. When checking, there is no new update for Firefox.

Running on a Macbook with Tahoe OS. Certain websites will not display my responses to a checkmark box. Certain websites will not permit changing a checkbox default setting. Specific example: https://cards.barclaycardus.com/ has a checkbox with remember user name defaulted to a check. Attempts to click to remove the check do not work. Also, on certain websites when entering login information that is incorrect, the message indicating to correct the item(s) in red or highlighted does not display the incorrect items in a highlighted condition. In fact at the bottom of this page, the response box labeled Email me when someone answers the thread does not display a response when I click on it, even though the "response" is accepted.

Recently google's advanced search page changed from how it's been displayed for years -- seemingly only on firefox. And I hate the change. It still displays as always on DuckDuckGo and Safari. Firefox is my preferred browser, but I use goodle advanced search myriad times every day and this is changed version is such a PITA that it's approaching being a dealbreaker for me. Sure, I'd like to know wth happened and why, but really I just want google advanced search to return to my preferred display. (It does not just look different, it performs differently, in little ways that matter a lot to me over the multiple times I use it. Be glad to elucidate if it matters.) First attached image is what I'm now getting on ff. Second attached image is what I used to get on ff, and still get on DDG and Safari, and would like back on ff. Please help.

I don't understand the reason Firefox is slowing down and making my emojis and GIFs on LinkedIn very difficult to access. This isn't a problem on other sites. Any solutions? Thank you for your consideration. marlem388

Re-occuring Captcha message when i attempt to sign into Facebook. .. 3 days now .... why ??

Just the last couple of days I can no longer browse through the images of an ebay item. the first image loads but the arrows or the thumbnails yield no movement, and I can't use the contact seller button either. No other website is effected, I am using the latest Firefox with Ventura on an imac. It all works if I use Duck duck and go? All very strange. Tim

Earlier this week, I was able to view routes in the Routes section of Strava without any issues. Since the recent browser update, that feature is no longer working for me.

Strava is one of the websites I use most frequently, and being able to access routes is important to my daily use. I’ve confirmed that the feature still works in Safari, but I would strongly prefer to continue using my current browser.

I also went through Strava’s help chatbot, and they indicated the issue is likely browser-related. Since this was functioning earlier in the week and has since stopped, I wanted to report the problem and see if there’s a fix or workaround available.

Would it be possible to code in an F-key that would automatically send a URL to Chrome in the case where you attempt to view a page or video in Firefox and it hangs or just does nothing? Then with one key we could just be taken to Chrome where the page would work correctly! That would be just awesome! Firefox has really gone down the tubes as far as reliability is concerned. I only use it because I prefer the layout but when it fails (every day multiple times) Chrome is the solution and it always works. Why is this? Can't the FF folks write a decent package that works?
